Aaka

The white wolfess was panting heavily as she continued to race through the lands. She knew they werent far behind her and she knew as well the humans had guns. But the alphess was smart, trying to lure them away from the pack and towards open ground where she could blend well into the ground and hide but first she would have to lose those blasted hounds. A dark growl escaped her as she pressed on, her tongue lolling from her mouth. She had run far and her pace was slowling slightly but still she pressed on. Her muscles were screaming with pain as she leaped over a fallen log that had somehow managed to find its way on the prarie. Maybe she would investigate that later. For now she had to run and just keep on running.

*Humans & Hounds*

The hounds were catching up now, taking giant strides with their long limbs and sucking in heavy drafts of air in their deep lungs. It was the sable-brute that first spotted her, but a brindle female soon pulled into the lead of the four hounds. She wasn't so heavily built as the three males, yet had the tallest stance of them all. Powered on by the desire to kill, she led her companions, which happened to be her siblings, after the fleeing wolf. Behind them galloped two horses, each carrying a human with a riffle.

The hounds were tiring a bit from the long run, but they were far from giving up their chase. "Once we've finished you," the brindle female began, barking out her words between breaths, "your pack will be next!" The hounds continued on, their muscles burning with the efforts and their lungs stinging, trying to get closer to the fleeing alpha.

Aaka

Aaka heard the large female and she snarled darkly back panting heavily "When you catch me? Dont you mean if?" She put on a burst of speed and she knew that even though she couldnt keep it up long she had to try. Suddenly the alphess changed directions and feinted to the left but then suddenly dodged right at a ninety degree angle. Her movements were swift and fluid like as she pushed on she would carry this up for a bit acting as if she was heading into the trees surrounding the prairie and then again change directions but which way nobody knew but her.

Legosa

With fresh blood staining his jaws, the murdering brute shot across the ground, taking high strides at first and carrying his head high so that he might spot where Aaka was. It was the horses that first gave away the position. Not wanting to be in their sights, the alpha dodged for thicker cover and ran along a slight embankment where he'd be out of sight for a moment.

After a few yards, the embankment leveled out, and Legosa could see the hunting party once more; and Aaka. Cursing under his breath, he bolted from cover, making a course to intersect the King Hounds. Their size and build really struck Legosa, but he saw them as a challenge to be beat. Pride getting in the way of good jugdement again.

"Run, Aaka!" He barked as he came from hiding, signaling his presence if she hadn't spotted him during her exhuasted run. Without missing a beat, Legosa drove across the ground right for the leading brindle hound. He sprung for the larger canine, trying to tackle her while his jaws aimed to rip a chunk from her side.

*Humans & Hounds*

The sister was focused squarely on Aaka, and might have been tackled by Legosa if not for her watchful brother. The sable male who had spotted Aaka in the outset now spotted her mate. "Rasp, to your right! Dodge, dodge!"

The brindle snarled savagely and took a flying leap to the side, arching her body and slipping just past Legosa's plunging jump. "Fool, you'll die first!" she hissed as she struck in retaliation, trying to seize a spot along his side.

The other three closed in fast, each looking for anywhere to bite that would cause sufficient damage. Despite their enormous size, these hunters were swift and agile.

Behind, the horses were closing is as well as their masters bayed them on. While they didn't risk shooting at Legosa, on account of their own dogs, Aaka was a decent target. Both raised their riffles to her, sending two bullets her way...

Legosa

Legosa glared banefully to the brothers, but didn't have time to shout any insults their way. After missing his charge, he ducked to the side as a clank of closing teeth came to his ears. The female had missed his skin, but taken a chunk of fur from his side, which brought about its own stinging pain. "You little..." Legosa growled, turning his fangs to score a hit on her neck. But now something his side, bring about a stiffling pain. A second point of agony came about his lower shoulder, and before Legosa knew it, he had two King Hounds attatched to his side. With a raging snarl, he twisted his body away, letting skin tear and blood spill. He snapped wildly at the duo while taking a leap away from them. He couldn't take on four. "You want to play that way?" He growled savagely before an idea came to mind. Pulling into an all out run, he headed for Aaka now.

The sounds of gunfire made his heart leap. "AAKA!" He yelled out before even thinking. Was she hit? Oh, he hoped not. But he had a plan... if only he could run far enough, and if the hounds would pay attention to him alone. "Filthy mongrels, human slaves! You'll never catch me!" He cried, then turned away from Aaka and headed south along the prairie. He glanced back, seeing if the hounds and humans were following him... if he couldn't fight these canines, he'd just find them someone else to fight.

The Egyptian Pack

TUTANKHAMUN
A curse too sinister, Too mysterious and too lethal was unleashed from the tomb where I was layed to rest...

THE EGYPTIAN PACK

The pack of 13 Ibizan Hounds were trecking through the long grasses not too far from the group when the new Alpha Tutankhamun or simply Hamun heard gunshots. Instantly he snapped a warning and the whole pack ducked into the grass. The strange thing about the whole operation was that there had recently been a change of rankings as a new Alpha had made his way into the pack or rather fought his way in. Tutankhamun, the new alpha, had beaten Ra to the throne, if you could call it that, and now took his place at the head of the pack. The whole system that had been set by Ra had changed, and each hound had shuffled one rank down to accomodate the new Alpha.

Hamun, as was his nickname, yipped to Atum, the scout of the group, who shuffled away from the group and into a thicket of trees. He gingerly stuck his head out to observe the happenings and found there to be some sort of fight going on between two wolves, two humans on horses and some sort of hounds that were massive. After relaying the news to Tutankhamun, the Ibizan hound slipped to the back of the pack after delivering the news to most of the others on the way down the line. Hamun called a gathering of sorts whereby he told them of his plan.

The hounds lined up, each taking his or her place along the line as they shaped up for battle. No human is welcomed with this pack, and so Hamun sided with the wolves. A howl was released as a sort of battle cry and the hounds were released. Their lithe bodies shot across the land quickly, picking up speed as they went like flying daggers, each with their fangs bared as a war cry was released from Hamun. It was two hound to each of the humans King hounds, Tutankhamun and Ra went for the dominant female of the hounds. Geb, Nut, Anubis, Ptah, Osiris and Seth each went in pairs for one of the brothers. Horus, the pup of the pack, sat the fight out and watched the happenings unfold. Atum and Hathor went for one human, whilst Isis and Bastet went for the other, hoping to pull them from their horses and kill them with the force of the blow to break their spines before guns could even be suggested...

The reign of Tutankhamun and the wrath of Egypt had begun...

..and so I've come back to haunt the living and to follow on my curse, The Curse of a Paraoh

\\\DONT IGNORE THE WARNINGS...///
Death will come to those who disturb the sleep of the pharaohs...

*Humans & Hounds*

At first, the group had choosen Legosa as their target, sure that they would overtake him sooner or later. The taste of his blood drove them on with a burning desire. However, unlike many of their predessesors, these hounds weren't completely overtaken by the desire to kill. And more often than not, a group of hounds was put together to utilize each individual's best traits. While the sabel brother had the best eyes of the group, and the brindle female had the greatest speed, one of the brindle brothers had a very keen nose, and a sharp knowing of what went on around him. He kept up the tail of the group, and it was his job to be sure they weren't ambushed.

"From the side!" He cried, spotting the pack come from their hiding. Well, their cries had given it away at first, but the brother would be sure that his siblings weren't caught off guard by any over zealos attempts on Legosa.

The female stopped and turned to face her agressors, as the rest of her siblings did. And the humans, alerted by the pack's cries, shot a volley of bullets in their direction as they first emerged from cover. Wether they hit any of the dogs or not, the fire had to stop once the dogs drew close to the hounds.

Each of the hounds was at least three to four times the weight of the attackers, and a third more than their height. A thick ruff, short neck, and dewlaps made for a determinably hard neck bite. Although the hounds were very agile themselves, the Ibizans had the advantage of numbers as well as a leaner frame that was adept to speed.

The brindle female hunched down slightly, then thrusted her massive frame forward as Hamun and Ra came at her. With her head down and jaws agape, she swung her maw for Ra first, snapping like a trap for his muzzle or head. If she managed a hold, she'd do her best to keep it.

The sable held his ground as Nut and Geb came his way (not sure who's going for who, so you can clearify things in the next post if you want them changed ^^). Instead of a lunge forward at his attackers, the male waited for them to make the first move.

The scent-strong brother, who happened to be the smallest of the bunch, hovering at 202 pounds, stood his ground as well. He snarled savagely at Anubis and Ptah, his body low and his cruel fangs gleaming at the duo.

The last brindle was the largest of the bunch, weighing in at 219 pounds. He watched with an amused gaze as Osiris and Seth came for him. He had never seen these kind of dogs before, but he felt confident. The two dogs together were only half his weight, and at the maximum 40 inches, he towered over them both. "This will be fun!" He laughed in a roaring tone to his siblings. Like his domineering sister, he choose to plunge forward as the pair attacked. His eyes turned defiantly to Osiris as his body lurched forward, but at the last moment, his jaws swung another way, heading for one of Seth's front limb.

The humans were still the same old, same old. Not so good at fighting unless they had their guns and weapons to help them. Atum and Hathor's target choose to run from the attacking hounds at first, but his mount shied at their approach and reared up. Gripping the reign tightly, he was unable to use his gun in time, and he was pulled from the horse. Arms and legs shot off in all directions, punching, kicking, swinging this way and that to try and drive off the dogs. But his gun had fallen a few feet from him, giving the man little chance against the two. His horse, in the meantime, began to run.

The other human kept his horse in control as Isis and Bastet made their advance. He didn't have enough time to shoot a second round at the dogs, so he did the next best thing. As they leap, he swung the weapon at one, and offered a spur-heeled boot the other. The horse pinned his ears back and rolled wide as to the dogs. Stamping the ground, he struggled to obey the human's wishes to remain still.

Aaka

LEGOSA!" She screamed after her mate as he charged away. She halted and almost to late realized that the dogs were nearly upon her. As she went to run once more the Ibizan hounds took over. But, the alphess was not going to let the hounds have all the fun. She smirked and slunk around the hounds to get behind the brindle fatale. Stupid whench. A low snarl escaped her as she leaped and aimed for the large fae's spine hoping to break it.

Legosa

Legosa was startled by the howls, at first thinking they were additional hounds to do the humans' bidding. But it quickly became apparent that it was the other way around, which changed Legosa's plans all together. Coming to a halt, he watched with fascination as a strange pack of dogs took up a stunning assault on the hunting party. Well, it looked like his attempts to distract the hounds had happened much sooner than he planned. He was going to run them through the Ocean Breeze Forest area and let that little pack deal with the hunters, but this worked just as well.

Hearing his mate's cry, Legosa turned his eyes her way and felt a wave of relief wash over him. So, she hadn't gotten hit by the bullets. And, it looked as though the humans were busy with the new dogs. Ah, now for some fun. Seeking out the large brindle male, Legosa sprinted his way with a tail flagged arogantly in the air. The brindle was larger than him, but Legosa didn't mind that; he loved a good challange. While the other busied himself with the ibizan hounds, Legosa struck from behind, trying to fasten his powerful jaws around the other's hind limb.

Sniper

The hidden assissen had been waiting for her chance and as Legosa attack the brindle male she sprang out every one of her Great Dane and timber Wolf build lunging at him tackling him so to say away from the male no not to save him but so she could have some fun. This was her profession taking out others for others and someone of say many someones wanted Legosa and Aaka gone she was focused upon Legosa later Aaka. She pulled back from him dentals bared as she growled.

|Stand up fool your time has come|

Legosa

Legosa saw something hurtling his way from the corner of his devilish eyes. Being in full lunge however, he couldldn't quite adjust himself in time, and took a partial blow from the attacker. Wheeling around and scrabbling his paws, Legosa just barely managed to stay afoot and quickly regained his posture. "I think you have it all wrong, missy. You just made one big mistake." Although there was some sinister humor in his voice, Legosa's eyes betrayed no hint of amusement with this fae, nor any mercy. Female or brute, he cared not. If one should attack him, even on the slightest account, he had no problems with killing them.

Without waiting for an explanation, if Sniper was planning one, Legosa through his large frame forward, shoulders and head down. His jaws craved for a hold anywhere on her flesh, but were aimed primarily for the upper part of her front leg.

sniper

Oh but she wanted to toy with him so as he lunged in she had been studying his body movments knowing what he was doing she simply sidestepped bring her chassis back about to face him a smirk dancing on her mug.

|My, my a quick temper have we. Don't woory I'll end that. I've met your match but not here there are to many others to get in our way. Met me at the ruins someone else wants to watch you die.|

She didn't move she waited to see how he would react if he attacked again she would come back she wasn't going to die she had strength and cunning Legosa was just a foolish brute in her book he got joy from killing it was her job that was all.

Legosa

Legosa adjusted his position quickly, whirling to follow Sniper's movements. Anger radiated from his dark eyes, for he certainly did not like to be mocked, but he could play games too, "You haven't met anything yet, trust me." The brute retorted, forcing himself to remain at stand still while she spoke, "You think you can kill me?" Once again, the humor arose in his voice and he gave a sneering laugh, "Yeah, I bet a lot would like to see me die! Shall I list them for you? Or Shall I wait and see who the lucky fellow is? I can tell you, there's a slough of dead canines around here, and each can contest that I'm no push over." Now his fangs were bared in a wicked smirk. "But I'll amuse you, alright. I'll meet you at the Ruins. Lady's first." At this, Legosa took a mock bow, dipping his head down, but always keeping his eyes on Sniper, and his ears on the surroundings.
