v.eleno and m.alignita

We are one,
You and I,
We are like the earth and sky,
One family under the sun.

All the wisdom to lead,
All the courage that you need,
You will find when you see,
We are one.

V.eleno ushered the young yearling forward, uttering encouraging words and occasionally giving a helpful nudge as the pair, mother and daughter, entered the Tall Grass Priarie. The ivory mother finally halted and the animation of the pair ceased.

The crimson filly panted and looked up to her mother. Why do we keep running mum? Can't we stop for just a moment?

The porcelin maiden looked down upon Malignita and nodded. For now Mal we can rest, but my dear we must move soon, we have yet to find somewhere safe to spend the night. The chestnut foal rolled her eyes before lying down in the long grass and beginning to rest. Veleno looke down upon her daughter and sighed, tears prickling in her eyes. Had it not been for a horrid event, she would not be here with her chestnut daughter.

Veleno had been raped by a wandering stallion when she had been away from her fathers herd after a fall out. When she had returned after the dreadful encounter, her father refused to believe her and kicked her out. Veleno was left to wander alone until her foal was born. She had come so close to taking her own life in certain periods of deep depression but she couldn't bring herself to do it knowing she would be killing another as well as herself. The foal didn't deserve to die for it had done nothing worng and Malignita was simply a result of such a bad thing. She was like the moon at night, keeping Veleno going, keeping her safe and forcing her to look after herself, after all she was thinking for two.

That was what had brought her here, to the lands of Sparkling Creek Valley, in the hope of starting a new life, a new page in the book.

Veleno keep a watch out for danger as her daughter slept. Danger also included stallions. Veleno had a hate for them ever since the little 'incident'. She despised them and wanted nothing to do with them and if that ment staying on her own until the end of her life, they so be it.

Even those who are gone,
are with us as we go on,
Your journey had only begun,

Tears of Pain, Tears of Joy,
One thing nothing can destroy,
Is our pride, deep inside,
We are one.

Eris

The gray lady entered the prairie at a lope, quick and silent. She too, was the true stallion hater. Her past stretched for miles of terrifying events that were too long to describe thoroughly. Because of her past, and the ones she grew up with, she had come here, to Sparkling Creek Valley, in search of a land to claim as her own, and make it a safe sanctuary for any other stallion-hating mares. And Eris had succeeded it all.
She scanned the prairie for any other mares and then spotted one. She seemed in quite a hurry actually, nudging her flicka along as if something were chasing them. She snorted and then changed her course, heading straight toward the two. She slowed to a halt near them and pricked her auds. "Hello, I am Eris. You two seem to be in a hurry. What's wrong?" she said in a desert voice that only she could have inherited from the blank deserts she grew up within. She stomped a forehoof lightly before studdying the two, all the while not known that they were just like her-- stallion haters.

Boki

Silent stalker made his way into the lands, his coat was as dark as sin. Eyes twitching as he searched for his 'brother' but soon he caught the words from the equine. Ears perked and his digits brought him to a hault. He was a Sheperd Lab mix. Looking for his friend a Wolf collie mix. Silent he stood then let out some bellow's. If the horses have been exposed to dogs they would have known what he was. And that was, he had no wolf in him what-so-ever. From afair he questioned the mares and filly. " I seemed to have lost my brother. Have you seen a gray wolf looking dog run by here?" He was all sincere, not even the slightlest past his mind that these animals could be dangerous, or fearful.

Quietly, innocently, he waited for the horses to respond.

One family under the sun.

All the courage that you need,
You will find when you see,
We are one.

t.he mare lifted her head as another approached. quickly nickering to malignita, who stood and retreated underneath her mother. veleno smiled at Eris and relaxed.

Hello, I'm Veleno, This is my daughter Malignita. We were just...

She was cut short when the scent of a dog infiltrated her craters. She snorted and turned to face the dog, her optics narrowed and she stamped a hoof in warning that she wasn't going to be messed around. When he spoke of another dog, veleno shook her head.

No, I haven't seen any dogs or wolves. Mo< Malignita came out from beneath her mother when she felt veleno relax. She grinned and giggled as she tottered up to Eris.
Where do you live? Do you live with a stallion? My mum hates stallions! So do I!

veleno looked down at her daughter sharply. Mal, Thats not very nice, Maybe Eris doesn't have the same veiws as us. She may live with a stallion. Please be polite dear.

Malignita's ears went down and she hung her head. She looked up and at Eris again.
Sorry...

Boki

He tilted his head in a respecive bow of thanks, then turned his lab shaped body. Soon he was out of sight, and the mares and filly were left to their own business once again. To never see him again, he didn't know.

Tarnished silver

The strange colored mare joined her queens side, this mare shared their views. She deeply inhaled her scent, the ID of the horse world. Her quick eyes inspected the pair, she had heard the filika's words and laughed silently at them. She lowered her head cocking it slightly to the pure innocentce of this child. By this age her father had already beat her about for being her. There is no need to worry about Erika's views, she rules a land, where the only stallion is a mere guard, to assist us if needed, she will explain, she is a wonderful queen no doubt. she snorted, lowering her head to her ruler, hoping she had not intruded.

Eris

Eris looked at the mare and flicka, not at all surprised that they would have this kind of view. And among stallions. She payed no mind to the canine-- he had come and simply left. She snorted, amused, and slightly tilted her dial to the side, "Ah? No need to fret, we've the same thought of the males." she stated, sending a wary glance to Tarnished Silver, then a light grin appeared. "A guard he is, no doubt. He is given 'strict' rules, which shouldn't be broken, ever. If it would happen, he would be kicked out, possibly banned, but it depends on merely what he does." she then added, auds pricking. "And I, Eris, the queen of the Capyte Ranges, extend an invitation out to you. You can come and go as you wish. You are completely protected from studs and their horrid ways." she said slyly, nodding. She looked to Tarnished Silver, bobbing her dial, for she hadn't "intruded" apon anything. Eris never freaked out about that stuff.

v.eleno and m.alignita

v.eleno smiled, her heart lifting when Eris spoke of her dislike of Males aswell. Nudging her daughter lightly the mares ears pricked and she shuffled a nadir over the earths surface.

Thank you Eris, We accept and would be delighted to join you at your home. Thank you.

m.alignita grinned and began to prance around, darting through the long grasses to amuse herself whilst the adults chatted. After a few seconds, she grew bored and tottered back to the gathering.
So, are we going or what? Okay so she was impatient sometimes, her mother was working on it though.

v.eleno tutted. Manners please Mal.

The small flicka blushed before replying in a small voice.
Sorry mom, Eris.

Eris

Eris smiled, and flicked her banner. "That's always a good decision." she stated, swinging her dial to scan the land behind her with deep orbs. Then she turned back to v.eleno and snorted. "We'de better get going now. Don't want to run into any stallions on the way." she said, grinning at the young flicka's words. She nodded to Tarnished Silver before circling around and trotting off, looking back to watch for the three. She neighed and bobbed her dial, joyous to have more stallion-hating mares residing within her land.

Tarnished silver

She nodded back, and cantered after her queen giving an joyous and energtic buck, no where near any of the others, for fear of catching them. she was still quite young in herself.
