Chino and Tosca

Chino desperately encouraged his sister to move on, whining and supproting her in the hope of getting her somewhere safe so that they could rest. Settling down under a tree, his sister firmly by his side, Chino kept watch about the grasslands.

Tosca was bleeding. She and her brother knew of humans too well. That was infact the reason she was injured. They had been scavenging around their old home when they had been shot at by Humans, mistaking the two dogs for wolves or foxes. Tosca had been caught by the fire twice and she limped on before collapsing under the tree. She had bullet through her back right leg and one in her flank from where she had attempted to flee. It was a lucky escape but she needed safety, all this movemtn was making her body lose more and more blood. The two Staffordshire Bull Terriers needed a home, fast, otherwise they wouldn't survive the perils of the wild.

Nightcralwer

Unsure of where his new friend had gone too, Nightcrawler found himself wondering on his own once more. It was the scent of blood that caught the ebony hunter's attention, stopping him in his tracks. A quick but thorough analysis of the breeze told him that two dogs were ahead; and at least one of them was wounded.

Taking on a more cautious, timed gait, Nightcrawler traveled across the snow-laden ground until he spotted both forms under the tree. His tall ears perked up in interest when he recognized the terrier form of the canines; they reminded him of his old friend, Kivo. Giving a woof to announce his presence, Nightcrawler headed towards Chino and Tosca. His tail was held low and loose, signaling he meant no trouble.

"Greetings. I'm Nightcrawler, and I don't mean any harm..." He spoke out before getting too close. He always wanted to help others, but knew that some canines were very guarded and agressive.

Crucified

Ivory wolf trotted in after the ebony one. Dull brown eyes caught the sight of him and the bleeding dog. He stood erect and gave a howl. This was the announce of his presence. Then he slowly made his way to the two pups. Standing 3'4" to his shoulders and weighing 110 pounds. His appearence was an alpha. Seeing the pups injured leg he quickly inquired on what happened. Giving a sorrow look then turning to Nightcrawler. He gave no signs of threat to either the pups not the other wolf. " My name is Crucified, Alpha of the Emerald Pines." He sighed. " I'm looking for members, and if you pups need protection, me and my brother would be glad to offer it." He turned to the pups, wondering if they were mature enough to make their own decision. Then turned to Nightcrawler, inviting him as well if her would like. " None of you are forced to stay there, but I am one to guard you until you are ready to leave." He gave a friendly smile and sat, waiting.

Chino and Tosca

The brother, Chino, Jumped up in alarm as he spotted the wolf. He was about to growl and bare his fangs when the wolf spoke. He looked into the eyes and watched the way the wolf acted. He didn't seem to mean any trouble. Giving a nod, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier turned back to the fomr of his sister and nuzzled her before looking to the wolf.
Shes been shot by humans, Twice. Shes very weak...
He trailed off and Tosca winced. He glanced in a panic at the wolf.
I'm Chino, This is Tosca, I dont know what to do...I-I...
As the other wolf came and said his speech, Chino was really paniced.
Urm...Y-yes, I just, She wont be able to walk much further....

Nightcrawler

He glanced to Crucified as the other made the offer. With a polite lowering of his head, Night spoke, "It's a kind offer, Crucified. But my home is with the Ochotona Mountains pack." His piercing yellow eyes shot back to Chino and Tosca and sympathy was instantly put out for the siblings. "I know of a place where she can be healed. An old two-legger that lives to the south, past the river; she has helped my packmates before." It pained him to think of those days, for he hadn't seen Kivo, Winters Night, or the others for a long time now. But he knew at least this human was safe.

Crucified

he turned at the sound of a human, Ears back in discomfort. He had been told not to trust any of them. He turned to nightcrawler and mumbled softly. " If you are for sure this human wont hurt any of us. I'll help carry them to the designated area."
