Kaden and pack
IAOTA PACK
The pride, led by Kaden, entered the Tall Grass priaire.
Kaden was followed by Vivacious, A two-faced minx who self-proclaimed herself ruler along side Kaden but truth was Kaden ruled alone.
The two were followed by Saleno, Kiana and Illia, Three females who made up the bulk of the pack.
The last to arrive was Dakota and her two pups Mina and Zian. They brought up the rear as the group stopped to rest.
They didn't look very big but they were dangerous. The group were on high alert after a recent attack and energy was high after their last meal. They weren't a pack to attack for no reason, only if threatened. They began to relax in the sun after their long journey.
Eris
The gray lady trotted back into the prairie. Did any mares around here dislike stallions as much as she did!? This was getting tireing. She had a land for mares and mares only, which may be guarded by some stud she hardly knew. But she would change that, whether anyone liked it or not. He had a big duty, but it was very high-flying. She would never let another stallion invade her terra without a fight.
Snorting harshly, the mare slowed as the unique beasts came into view. What in the world were those? Flapping her lips slightly, she tossed her dial and whinnied. Being one from the faraway desert she had never seen something like that. Only those dirty and stinky camels. She released a strong neigh to them, wondering if they were safe to approach or not. This would be all the far she got to them. If she would run or not depended entirely on their reactions. She stood there, her heritage showing as her neck arched and banner swayed high in the air.
Kaden and pride
IAOTA PRIDE
Kaden lifted his shaggy head as the sound of the mare entered his eardrums. Eyes of amber quickly scanned the area to locate the horse and he bared his fangs. Dakota, The mother of Mina and Zian, felt a sudden rush of parental instinct take over her and she growled, standing up. The two cubs shuffled back and ducked into the long grass.
Dakota felt her cubs were threatened and she didn't like it. Standing protectively in front of her son and daughter she growled again, obviously angered. She needed to scare away the mare, to keep her away from the cubs and if that ment risking her life, she would do it. Okay, so it wasn't that big a deal, but to her, it was life or death for the cubs. She didn't know the horses intention, to her the mare was here to kill her cubs and it wasn't going to happen. Her muscles flexed as she advanced on the mare, snarls still sounding from her throat. She was soon joined by Saleno and Kiana, Illia stayed back to guard the cubs. The three spilt, Saleno going right, Kiana going left and Dakota taking the font as they advanced on the mare, growling before dropping into the long grass. They stayed silent, not moving for a few minutes, trying to panic the mare. Then came the attack. The trio charged towards Eris, Dakota going for her thoat, the other two for back up to get her away. They didn't want to kill her but if it was a final choice, they would. For now they would settle with scaring her...unless that failed to work.
Eris
The gray lady's orbs stayed focused on the angered lioness. And who did she think she was? Horses didn't kill cubs! They killed the bigger ones! And she wasn't here to kill. That wasn't her thing, unless it involved a stallion.
Flapping her lips a few more times she reared, releasing a scream, which struck the distant silence with ear-peircing noise. Once her legs reached the ground again she noted the three coming for her. Growing angered as she watched them split up, each going their own way it seemed, she became outraged. She wasn't a mare to turn scared of something. She never was scared. Anger and rage blazed through her more than anything else as the main lioness lunged for her throat. Quickly, without wasting a second, Eris wheeled around upon her forelegs and struck out with her hindlegs, desiring for a strong hit on the large cat. "Take this, you mangy feline!" she squealed out angrily, orbs holding the look of sincere wild fire. Once she had performed her kick she bolted, circling around after galloping for about a yard. Being from the desert, she was not only elegant and lithe, but had very powerful legs and excellent footing. She then tossed her dial, screaming once more. She finished it with a glare, right at the group of felines.
