The Midnight Hunters

The five, led by their Alpha Domnio, entered the priarie on a mission. A mission to kill.

They had been told of a war and so had offered to get their Allies some food to prepare them for battle.

Domnio stalked out into the long grass, laying down in the hunters position as he searched for prey he and his pack could bring down.

Xina, Domnio's sister, came up beside him and also kept down in the tall grass.

Vandras and Sxythe, Two brothers, stayed a little behind the Domnio and Xina and also put their skills in hunting to the test as they also searched for prey.

Chaos shuffled in behind the group, knowing his place as bottom of the rankings, waiting for a commmand.

A buck was walking along when he found some good grass and put he head down to eat vunderable to any creature that wants to eat.

The Midnight Hunters

Domnio suddenly caught a wiff of deer and immediately whispered to his pack their orders.

They all began to spread out, Sxythe and Vandras taking the flanks to close in on the prey and prevent its escape to the sides. Chaos headed around the sides in front of the deer, he was the fastest and the lightest so he would have more chance of chasing the deer and getting it near the front, he too blocked an escape route to the front.
Domnio and Xina brought up the rear.

With a sharp yip, Domnio sprung the ambush, he raced towards the buck and lept for its neck aiming for the death grip, closely followed by Xina who jumped to land on its back to weigh the animal down. Sxythe and Vandras cut across the grass and aimed for each side of the deer, aiming to bite down on its sides and knock it over or rip flesh from its body. Chaos came from the front and went for the underbelly, ducking right down to slip under the buck and rip the flesh from its belly.

The buck was weighed down he then used his antlers swinging his head but ut was harder for him but he managed.
