Cavan
The scar-faced wolf entered the prairie, moving steadily but slow so that the two pups could keep up. After a while, he stopped and turned back to them, "You two are going to stay with my sister for a while." Leaving it at that, Cavan tilted his marred muzzle heavenward and howled out for his sister.
Phelan & Laporta
The two pups slunk after Cavan, with little Phelan all but getting lost in the tangle of dead grasses. But the two managed to keep up, and sat down together a few feet from the male. They were still shivering, but now it was the cold that had begun to affect them. They were, after all, little pups in the dead of winter. The the fridged prairie was in stark constrast to the heat of the Domes.
Aaka
Aaka moved quickly gazing around her trying to find her lost pups when she saw two of them. With a snarl she moved closer and closer glaring at Cavan "What do you think your doing with my pups?" Her words were soft but bone chilling. Her eyes danced with anger and her hackles raised and she said in the same voice "You already killed one pup Cavan I dont want mine to die to." She thought about Hidden Betrayal, a pup that she had given to Ghost as a peace offering. Hidden Betrayal had made a quick friendship with Tupit and word had gotten to Aaka that a orca had killed the little pup. "Wheres Atticus?" She looked around her searching for her other pup worry flickering in her eyes with the anger. She licked her two pups whining softly "Wheres your father?" she said softly.
Cavan
Cavan took a hasty few steps back, pinning his ears but rumbilng softly, "Legosa gave me permission. He's at the Ashen Domes with the other two other pups...." The wolf trailed off a bit, his good eye getting narrow, "And I've killed no pup! My brother didn't die at my fangs!" Not knowing that his own son had gotten killed yet, Cavan mistakenly thought she was talking of his long-dead brother, Railu.
Phelan & Laporta
The two pups instantly ran for the protection of their mother, hiding beneath her and shivering still with fear. They happily licked her muzzle and nuzzled against her legs. "Daddy told us to go with him! He was teaching Atticus and Sweetclover some stuff... and then..." Phelan trailed off, forgetting what else was suppost to happen. But Laporta piped up eagerly, "Daddy is going to finish off someone. I think it's Cavan's brother, or something." She said, having no clue what 'finishing off' really meant. Both pups looked expectantly to their mother, a devotion shining in their eyes.
Aaka
She growled softly and said in her cold voice "And What Of Tupit?" Her eyes narrowed as she watched Cavan. Maybe he didnt know yet. But he would. Hidden would make sure that he did. Her eyes turned to her children "Home. Now both of you. I will deal with your father." She didnt know who they were talking of but she knew she had to go deal with it and make sure he was no one that she knew. She saw the devotion in her childrens eyes and wanted to weep for she doubted if they knew what she had done to her last pups they would show the same love.
Phelan & Laporta
The both wagged their tails, but their ears were down a bit as she gave them an order. Still, they looked up doting at Aaka, feeling the safest when they were with her. Laporta nudged her brother, "Come on, lets get going!" He nodded, and together, than ran off to the Silver Glades. Of course, neither could know what their mother had done to her own pups in the past, and it was a good thing they didn't know. They were still innocent and niave.
Cavan
Cavan narrowed his eye more, snarling now, "Listen, I know I may not be the best father, but I do what I can for him!" The scared wolf was furious with that comment, although really, he could do more for his son. Well, it was too late now, unknown to the father. "He's not yours anyway, so don't mention it again."
Hidden Betrayal
She was passing her head down tears falling in her tracks. She was silent going when suddenly her head snapped up and she turned and saw Cavan. With an enraged snarl she leaped at him slashing and tearing at anything she could get sadness and pain raditating from her. She screamed "You worthless traitor you killed him!" She sobbed as she bit into him her whole body numb from the emptiness she had felt for so long. She had thought that maybe someday Tupit could becmoe her mate but now that was never to be.
I tried so Hard and got so Far but in the end It doesnt even Matter
Cavan
Hidden had come up on his blind side, which was his also the side of his torn-off ear that had trouble pickin up noises. With a startled yelp, he felt fangs sink into his side and rip at his flesh. The firey hot pain made him wheel around, yelping still as her fangs continued to tear at him. Not caring who it was, he began to slash back, trying to drive Hidden away from him, "What? I killed no one!" His voice snarled out savagely. He was having a hard time trying to bite at her, since she was attacking his blind side, but he did his best and struck without mercy. Cavan still had no clue what had happened.
Hidden Betrayal
Her yellow eyes closed as she felt his teeth sink into her shoulder and another sob was torn from her. The pain she felt on the inside was much worse then what Cavan could do to her. She tore away from him tears falling from her eyes as she did so. She pulled away so that he could see her and softly in a choked voice she said "Remember when you sent Tupit to go live with your sister? You sent him to his death. An....An orca killed him when he was with her. Its because of you. YOU!" She screamed the last part making sure that he had heard her. A sound erupted from her chest filled with pain and longing. Her yellow eyes that had been sparked with life only an hour before were now hollow once more. She watched Cavan and said softly "You killed your own son. What kind of a parent are you?"
I tried so hard and Got so Far But in The End It Doesnt Even Matter
Cavan
Cavan held himself back for a moment, his body shaking with fury. He was about to rush her again and go for a kill, simply because she had attacked him. But when she mentioned Tupit, he stopped all together. His good eye grew very wide indeed, and his deaf-standing ear pasted back against his head. His tail quivered and then his good eyes closed, "What have I done?" He groaned out loud, then his voice blazed with emotion, "My Suka, I've let you down! We've lost them all!" He cried pitifully, his voice shaken and wretched. All the life seemed to go out of him, and Cavan sunk into the frozen gass, his head coming to rest on his front paws. "Tupit.. Tupit... I am a horrible parent.... what have I done?" The scarred wolf sobbed to himself, not at all concerned with what went on around him.
