Guadalupe
The melanistic buck had grown quite frantic, knowing Nhosh would be less than pleased if he came back with no fawns in tote. The whitetail barked loudly, hoping that Thorn and Bramble were within hearing distance, and out of trouble. Guadalupe, with just two tiny antlers and still a small body, couldn't do much to defend his two wards. But it certainly helped if he actually knew where they were.
"Oh Imre! Nhosh will skewer me if I come back without them.... THORN! BRAMBLE!" He barked again and turned his keen eyes on the landscape around. "I should have taken off running like that... I thought they'd follow along!" The pricket continued to call and look around desperately.
Shadowed Promise
The mare cantered up next to Guadalupe panting.
Where are they?! I followed you and them when the suddenly disappeared from view...I tried to follow, but lost sight of them!
The mare half-reared, crying out in a high pitched whinny to the fawns to come.
Exotic Spices
the paint mare cantered over to the two other animals.
"Hello, my friends, may help you as you seem in distress." she said politely.
Guadalupe
"I-I don't know!" He replied to his friend in a frantic tone, "I thought they were right behind me too!" Guadalupe turned suddenly to the new mare as she cantered their way. He had grown quickly to trust any mares by this point, for none had yet given him reason to alarm him.
"We can't find our fawns! Er, my herd's fawns, that is." he added quickly, "Two little whitetails. We were just racing around... and they vanished!" Guadalupe exclaimed.
Shadowed Promise and Thorn
The mare became alarmed.
Guadalupe, I smell humans, They are near. It seems to be coming from Home!
She let out another cry to the fawns, they needed to find them in humans were around.
Thorn however had been playing around when she heard the cries, but simply thought it was for someone else untill she heard the urgency and her name. The doe pranced up behind Guadalupe and buffeted his side with her small head, hard.
I'm here, stop screaming you big girl! Then she stopped still.
Where's Bramble?
She then took notice of the new mare, and jumped in alarm. She hadn't noticed her there. She shot behind Guadalupe, but soon came out and smiled sheepishly.
Sorry, thought you were...never mind..I'm Thorn.
She smiled up at Shadowed and Guadalupe. What?
Bramble
Bramble had taken Thorn's earlier advice and slipped away when Guadalupe and Shadowed took off running. He found himself a small, swift stream and took up splashing up and down the water, taking delight in the little fish that scattered from his path. After a while though, a natural fear came over him and he stepped out from the water and looked around for his friend. "Thorn...?" Bramble reared up a moment, trying to get a better vantage point of his surroundings, but it seemed that everyone had disappeared! Then, in the distance, he heard some faint cries. "Ah, that must be them!" Bramble cried out in delight, happy but unwilling to admit to even himself that he was glad to hear the grownups again.
Springing swiftly over the ground with his nimble legs, the young white tail soon came into view of the group. In ran instantly towards Thorn and Bramble. And seeing what Thorn did, Bramble sprung and gave the pricket a heavy buffet as well, trying to show off his 'strength'. "I'm here. Don't fret..." Then the yearling trailed off, looking curiously to the paint mare.
Guadalupe
Guadalupe was greatly relieved to see Thorn racing for him. But before he could say anything, the youngster struck him in the side and followed it up with an insult. And then before he could reply to that, Bramble came charging forward and rammed him. Snorting, the buck drew back, tossing his head a bit, "Yeah, I'm glad to see you too!" In return, he butted both fawns with his muzzle, but was careful not to gouge them with his little antlers.
With his brief reprimand over, he turned attention to Shadowed, "Humans? Oh no.... I don't know what to do..." He glanced at the two mares, feeling the dire weight of responsibility. He really wanted to be in the Scout Stags when he was a bit older, but it was hard for him to make decisions; especially in critical times like these.
Shadowed and Thorn
The yearling doe chuckled and danced around Bramble when he appeared. Where were you?!
Then she was butted by Guadalupe. She giggled, looking from deer to horse.
Meanwhile, Shadowed exhaled deeply when she saw the two fawns appear and giggled at their antics.
Well, prehaps we should go back...but..no...
She thought for a bit longer.
Well, we could go back, but I'm afraid we might be found, we'd be defenseless if there was a lot of them, we wouldn't stand a chance. Especially not with two fawns...
Guadalupe
Guadalupe snorted faintly, in disgust of the humans. He was worried about his herd, yet knew it wouldn't be good to lead the fawns and his friend into that kind of danger. "How about... we go to the Ruins? At least we'd be safe from humans. Nhosh can handle those foul two-leggers easy enough."
Bramble
Bramble grinned at Thorn, "Chasing fish in a creek. It was pretty fun, but the water was awfully cold." His large, dark eyes turned from Shadowed to Guadalupe, "What's so bad about humans? My mo-" He stopped suddenly, about to say 'mom'; referring to the one that had been killed during the early summer. "... I heard they are very good animals."
Thallir, Guadalupe, Solange, & *Hunters*
As Guadalupe stood and waited for the other's response, a faint cry came to his large ears. Hardly before he had time to recognize the sound as the bark of a hunting dog, Guad heard a more familiar noise.
"Thallir, no!" The bark was sharp and urgent, causing Guadalupe to whirl around. The voice belonged to Solange, the white-tail that had an overabundance of twisted tines upon his antler beams. As he came bounding across the field with his tail flagged in the air, another deer could be seen; a smaller fallow buck. He was running wildly towards Guadaulpe and the others, panting from a long run. At his flank were three wolfhounds. A human on horseback wasn't far behind, carrying a rifle in hand. And much further behind them were two humans on foot; one with a shotgun, and one with a bow.
"Thallir, not that way! There's fawns!" Solange cried, rushing his fastest to try and intercept the desperate Thallir before he reached Bramble, Thorn, and the others. But it was too late, and the fallow buck was too panicked to hear the other. Thallir came rushing towards Guadalupe and Shadowed, his eyes blazing with terror. Guadalupe reared up slightly, his tail already flagged in the air. "RUN!!!" He cried, seeing the dogs. He nudged at the fawns hard, urging them to run.
Solange had finally caught up to the scene, but didn't slow down. With his impressive antlers lowered, he smashed straight into the side of one of the hounds. With a pained yelp, the hound tumbled across the ground, his side punctured and streaming blood. Solange lifted his stained antlers and stamped the ground. "We have to move, get to the woods!" His orders were sharp and demanding as he looked to his friends...
Bramble
Bramble turned his wide eyes towards Thorn, and suddenly wished that Wycliff were here. His tail went up too as he began to run, "Hurry, Thorn! To the trees!" The yearling was bounding as fast as his spindly legs could take him, but he kept looking back to make sure his friend was following.
Shadowed and Thorn
With a sharp neigh, Shadowed charged towards one of the wolf hounds and reared, aiming to bring down her hooves with force upon one of the dogs.
Thorns eyes widened, and she screamed. Her tail shot up, as did her ears as she began to run like a rocket behind Bramble shouting,
Hurry up! FASTER!
Guadalupe, Thallir, Solange, & *Hunters*
The hound the Shadoweded went after tried to veer to the side while snapping his long, lean muzzle at her legs. But he didn't move quite quick enough, and her hooves came down near his leg and shoulder, breaking the bones there and ripping through part of the skin. Crying out, the dog fell to the ground. He scrambled desperately to get out of her way...
The other felled dog managed to pick himseful up, snarling once more and glaring towards Solange. But the buck wasn't finished yet. Before the wolfhound rightfully regained footing, Solange was at him again, this time sending his deadly tines into the dog's neck. With a faint, gurgled cry, the dog slump to the ground. Solange disengaged, knowing the hound would be dead in a few short moments. Yet as he was preparing to following the others towards the trees, a pair of jaws clamped around his hind limb. Kicking swiftly, he knocked the attacking hound away and swung his head sharply to the side, narrowly missing the brute. This hound was a bit smarter and quicker than his unlucky companions, and stayed carefully out of Solange's reach.
Guadalupe paused as he was running with Thallir and the two yearlings. "Keep going! Thallir, lead them to safety, and stay hidden in the trees!" The pricket looked back to his two friends and raced their way. His little antlers could certainly offer a good gouging, but they were nothing compared to Solange's, or even the power of Shadowed's hooves. "The human! He's got a gun! We can't fight him out here!" He pleaded to his two friends, "Run for the woods!"
Solange took a step back from the dog, knowing he could outrun the mutt for a while, at least until they reached the trees. His fierce, dark eyes shifted to the approaching human on the horse. "He's right, we must flee towards the cover, where we'll have the advantage." Spinning about, Solange began to rush for the trees. Guadalupe followed suit, as well as the wolfhound. But the two stags would make sure Shadowed was close at hand before they made it to the temporary safety of the forest.
The human on horseback lifted his rifle, trying to keep it steady as his stallion thundered across the plains towards the deer and horse. Taking a wild shot, he fired towards the fleeing creatures...
Bramble
Bramble kept going, now that Thorn was running with him. His legs flew widely as his nose and mouth sucked in great drafts of cold air, making his lung and throat smart with the bitter chill. But the adrehnaline of the moment made him forget this discomfort, and all he could think of was reaching the trees. "We're there, we're there!" He cried out, finally reaching the stand of timber and springing into it. Panting heavily, the yearling turned around, peeking his head back to the open grassland, hoping that the adults would make it back okay. Suddenly, the loud burst of gun fire made him jump and his heart race even faster. He looked frightenedly to Thorn, then to the adults, not sure what that noise was, for he had never encountered a human's gun before.
Shadowed, Thorn, Arrow and Spitfire
As the dog sprung for her leg, she tried to back up, however she was unlucky and it caught the side of her legs, a resonably deep cut. It didn't get a hold though and she wasted no time in retreating.
Thorn also jumped into the forest, breathing heavily. She gazed, wide eyed at the adults, wanting them to be okay. As the gunshot sounded he dived behind Bramble, She hadn't either heard about guns and was frightened as to what the noise was.
The two wolves had come from the previous fight, The had seen the hunter and the dogs and had followed their scent. Growling deeply Arrow launched himself at the Humans neck, aiming to snap it. Spitfire went for the gun, he aimed to close his jaws around it as he jumped for it and pull it away from the human.
Shadowed ran as fast as her legs sould carry her but was unfortunately caught by the bullet. It peirced her flesh, spewing crimson liquid and the horses fore piston buckled, sending the mare down. She battled to stand again and continued to try and get away, but the pain was so much that she could barely manage to walk.
Guadalupe, Thallir, Solange, & *Hunters*
Guadalupe started at the gunfire, for it still startled him even though he had heard it many times before. He would have kept running, but a shout from Solange once again alerted him of trouble. Turning his head back, he saw Shadowed had been hit. "No! Shadowed!" The pricket ran back to her, doing his best to brace her side, though he was rather small in comparision to the mare. "Nhosh will know what to do; we just need to get back to shelter!" Guadalupe tried to sound comforting, but the doubt and fear were very evident in his voice. And Nhosh didn't know much of anything about healing wounds.
Thallir was trembling with fear as he stood near the fawns. He had been raised in a deer farm his entire life, and didn't know the terrible things that humans and their dogs could do. At first, he actually stood behind Bramble and Thorn, but then crept forward so that he was in front of the two. "I... I've never..." But the fallow buck trailed off, unable to find words.
Solange doubled back as soon as he realized Shadowed had been hurt. He charged straight for the horse-mounted human. But before he could reach the duo, a pair of wolves struck. The human was just aiming again for Shadowed when Arrow grasped him by the back of the neck. Luckily for the man, the fangs caught mostly on his coat and a bit of flesh, but the force still knocked him off the stallion. And Spitfire successfully took the gun from him.
The stallion bucked frantically, angered and startled by the sudden assault. But before he could turn back to investigate what had happened, several pairs of tines were embedded into his side. Crying out, the horse staggered and fell to his side. Many of Solange's tines broke off in the horse's flesh, jarring the deer and sending him to the ground as well. But in a flash, Solange was on his feet, bucking up and glaring around for any more danger.
The dog that had initially attacked Shadoweded was now limping pitifully away, trying to get away from the battle. The stallion was kicking feebling on the ground, many of his organs punctured by the deer's antlers. Just when Solange thought that everyone was more or less under control, a strange 'whizzing' noise came to his ears. A split second later, an arrow shot past him, grazing the top of his back and sailing harmlessly by. Knowing he stood no chance in rushing the two approaching humans, Solange took his chances running away from them, zig zagging as he went...
Bramble
The yearling watched with almost dazed eyes as the battle unfolded in front of him. The sight of the two wolves made him shiver suddenly and grow weak, for he had seen such creatures kill his mother and twin sister. Yet at the same moment, he felt a little brave because Thorn was with him. Plucking up his courage, Bramble puffed out his little chest and held his head higher, "We'll be safe here." He assured, his voice ringing with confidence.
Shadowed, Thorn, Arrow and Spitfire
Shadowed winced as she, with the help of Guadalupe, staggered towards the thicket and eventually passed into its safety. Panting heavily, the mare slumped against a trunk, her head low and body energyless.
Thorn gasped as she saw the mare get shot and watched as Guadalupe went and helped her back. The little white-tail shuffled towards the mare and looked anxiously at the hole in her side. She gazed to Thallir and Guadalupe with wide eyes, petrified of all the happenings.
Spitfire landed sucessfully, holding the gun in his jaws. He turned back to see if his brother had got the man when the arrow wizzed past him. Growling the wolf took off and slid down a low dip in part of a tree and shrub covered area, dropping the gun and covering it with soil. He then turned his attention back to the humans and charged growling for the man Arrow had on the ground. Jaws parted and were aimed for the front of his exposed throat.
Arrow clung on tightly to the man and shook his head violently. As Spitfire emerged and aimed for the front of his neck, Arrow attempted to shuffle his fangs down the mans neck and bite his lifegiving veins or stop his breathing, or even snap his neck.
The two brothers remained there for a moment before finally realising how close the two men were. They had seen where the deer and mare had run to and tryed to make the humans follow them, they were sure tehir father would son arrive on the scene and as he was a resonable experianced hunter, they would have a better chance with him around of killing the humans.
Guadalupe, Thallir, Solange, & *Hunters*
The man struggled to pick himself up, giving a scream at the pain in the back of his neck, where the flesh was torn. Before he could try to reach back and grab a holf of Arrow, Spitfire arrived. The man threw his arms up instinctively, so that the wolf's jaws closed about them instead of his neck. This act only delayed the man's death, for Arrow was able to get his reposition on the neck, and easily had enough strength to snap the vertabrea. Just like that, the man fell limply against the ground.
Solange was still running fast, but he was no longer going for the cover of the trees, for he didn't want to lead the humans to his friends. He zig zagged still, sprinting his fastest across open land. Now the loud boom of the shotgun rang out, and Solange suddenly fell to the ground.
The humans were racing his way now, although they kept their eyes open for the wolves that were hidden somewhere amongst the clumped, dead grasses.
Guadalupe stood next to Shadowed, shivering with fear and unable to draw his eyes away from the blood on her pelt. Once he realized that Thorn was looking at him, he swallowed hard and spoke in a ragged voice, "Sh-she'll be alright. Nhosh will know what to do. Solange will run and get him for us..." Then the shotgun blast stopped the pricket's words, and he gazed towards the open prairie in time to see the buck tumble to the ground, and the humans run his way. "Thallir! Do something!
Thallir was petrified still, and more or less in shock. He gazed at Thorn and Shadowed with an almost blank look. His kind were suppose to run from danger more than they were to fight it. He hardly heard what Guadalupe shouted at him.
The black buck looked desperately out to the humans, then to Shadowed. Why does bad luck follow us? He thought miserably, thinking back to when he first met Shadowed, and that fire had nearly killed them. With Thallir too frightened to do anything, Guadalupe suddenly charged down the line of trees, putting a few dozen yards between him and his friends. Then he stepped out into the open and reared up, giving a sharp bark to attract the human's attention. Then he sprung back into the woods and raced back to his friends. A arrow and gunblast wizzed his way, but thankfully, the trees and his quick legs kept him from getting tagged. "Thorn, Bramble! Go deeper into the trees and hide! The humans are coming this way! Thallir," He turned to the fallow buck, "Thallir!"
The buck blinked dazidly to the black deer as Guad went on, "Fight them with me! We need to stop the humans before they reached here. Shadowed cannot run from them. Do you hear me?"
Thallir was silent for a moment before the words seemed to get to him. He nodded faintly, but it seemed that shock was still on him. Guadalupe looked fearfully to the mare, hoping that he had done the right thing.
Shadowed, Thorn and wolves
Arrow and Spitfire both dropped the man. As they raced for cover they saw the deer go down and instantly froze. They didn't know what to do. As the hunters began to run, the pair ducked down but were alarmed when they heard a deep voice behind them. Mercury, the pair's father had followed them and found them at exactely the right moment. With a sharp growl the wolf lept over his sons and bounded towards the humans, fangs bared and growling. He called to them with a sharp GET THEM!
The wolves sprang up from the grass and charged for the humans, fangs bared and snarling. They could outrun the humans with their strong bodies and powerful limbs. Arrow lept for the back of one mans neck whilst Spitfire went for another. Mercury was there incase help was needed.
Shadowed continued to breath heavily but as soon as the buck went down she paniced. Standing up straight, the mare nudged the two fawns, GO! Quickly!
Thorn nodded at Guadalupe and cryed out as Solange hit the ground. At the adults commands to run, she turned to Bramble before taking off towards another thicket, away from the current cover.
Shadowed turned to Guadalupe as he spoke of fighting and she gave him a smile. I will be on hand to help if everything takes a turn for the worst. Good luck my friend. I will go and try and help Solange, you two must distract them, fight them, anything, just keep them away from the fawns, me and Solange.
She nuzzled the pricket before her facade clouded and a serious look took over.
Now go. I know you can do it, Both of you.
Even if the bucks didn't go out first Shadowed moved towards Solange as fast as she could, which was faster than a walk as her determination was strong. She stood beside the fallen buck before dropping her fore-daggers to the ground. Her muzzle nudged him gently.
Solange! Solange, please get up! Answer me, please!
Their was urgency in the mares voice, they were vunerable, but courage and warmth were also there as she tried to communicate with the fallen deer.
Solange...
Arcane, Mystery, Segreto and Ascosa
The two hinds and their yearling fawns had been out for a play in the prairie when they had heard the gun shots and come to investigate. At the sight of the scene, the hinds immediately barked, eyes wide and their fawns were close by. They had come upon the battle near Guadalupe and the others and spotted the fawns running before some of the adults went off to fight. Arcane was the first to react.
Arcane, being the mother of Mystery. Segreto, the mother of Ascosa.
Arcane called to her friend and her fawn before setting off after the two running fawns. She eventually caught up with the two little white-tails and caled to them to follow her into a thicket that wasn't too far away.
Mystery, Arcanes fawn followed her mother, The little red deer yearling was about the same age as the other two fawns, as was her friend Ascosa, Segreto's daughter.
The four deer entered the clearing and the two hinds turned round, waiting to see if the two fawns would follow. Segreto however looked to Arcane.
I must go and help that fallen buck, Take care of Ascosa for me. I will return shortly.
With a brief smile, the red-deer hind turned and sprinted off towards Solange and the mare.
She stopped the other side of solange, and also tryed to encourage him to get up so that they could get away before anything really bad happened.
Guadalupe, Thallir, Solange, & *Hunters*
Guadalupe nodded, starting to feel better about the decision he made, "Be careful." Then he nudged Thallir, brining the still frighted fallow out of his trance; well, sort of. The two bucks sprinted out into the open, where the humans instantly took note of them, especially the strange black fur of the white tail.
The bow man had outpaced the shotgun man by a few yards and was drawing a new arrow to his string. A sudden cry from his friend made the man stop, just before he was going to fire at the two approaching deer.
The shotgun man had been taken down by Spitfire. He squeezed the trigger of his gun, sending of a random shot as he fell. Twisting about before he hit the ground, the man managed to pull his neck away from the wolf's grasp, at the cost of several large punctures. Moving with the powerful speed of adrenhaline, the man tried to swing the butt of the gun against Spitfire's head and knock him down....
The bow man saw as his friend was taken down by the wolf. This gave him time to spot Arrow, who had been coming for him. Thinking quickly, the man released his arrow, aiming straight at the wolf... his aim wasn't the best, because he didn't have a whole lot of time to be presice, but he did his best...
Solange blinked back at Shadowed, his eyes sort of glossy and confused. Durring his fall, he had hit his had a bit too hard on the ground, leaving him more or less stunned. All at once, everything came back to him as he recognized the mare. Heaving himself up, the buck found his right hind limb was almost useless. A quick look and a jolt of pain quickly told him just where he'd been shot. The hind limb was peppered with shotgun pellets. Staning on three good legs, he glanced to the two humans, who he could now see were involved with the wolves. "Stupid humans..." He muttered and then noticed Shadowed's wound, "They got you as well..." And now a look of puzzlement crossed his features as he looked to Segreto. She was not a hind he recognized, nor did she smell of the Oak Prairie herd. The desire to protect came flooding back to him now and he offered a thankful smile to the femmes, "I think the humans are being dealt with now; lets take to the cover." Solange began to move towards the woods again, hobbling on three legs. He did his best to look strong, and always glanced back to the humans to be sure they were being taken care of.
Guadalupe stopped short before reaching the humans. "Wolves! Er... we need to go back! To the fawns!" And like that, the young buck was sailing back towards the woods, with a very releived Thallir not far behind. Before reaching the woods, Guad paused a moment to see that Shadowed and the others were also heading back. Now it was up to the canines to finish of the hunters.
Bramble
Bramble didn't recognize the hinds, but he was ready to follow any leader figure at the moment. Besides, he thought that maybe these were four from the deer farm that had been raided a while ago, and he just hadn't met them yet. In any case, he knew they weren't a danger.
The yearling entered the thicket and looked curiously at the other two youngsters, before turning to Arcane. "Who are you? I don't think I've met you before..." His tail had come back down now, and flicked from side to side, showing he wasn't as alarmed any more, although the sounds of gunblast made him worry.
Shadowed, Thorn and wolves
Spitfire clung onto anything he could, shaking his head desperately to cause as much damage as possible. However he didn't see the gun coming towards him and it met his skull, sending the wolf's jaws apart and he fell to the ground, stunned.
Arrow was slightly shocked at the humans movements but had quicker reflexes than his brother, he dodged the arrow which narrowly missed his side and sprung for the human, jaws wide.
As Spitfire fell to the floor, Mercury, the pups father, dived for the human, fangs glistening, ready to sink his teeth into the mans neck or any other part he could find.
Shadowed was relieved that Solange was alive. She slowly clambered to stand and braced his side, helping the deer to reach the forest.
Thorn followed the hinds in a daze, she stopped and began to pant as they reached the next thicket.
Yeah, Who are you two aswell?
She adressed the fawns with a puzzled expression, they didn't seem familiar...
Arcane, Mystery, Segreto and Ascosa
The hind and the two fawns were glad that Thorn and Bramble had followed.
Arcane smiled and spoke softly,
I am Arcane, This is my daughter Mystery, and this is my friends daughter Ascosa.
The two fawns smiled, a friendly glisten in each of their eyes.
Segreto smiled and also helped Solange back to the thicket in which her friend and the fawns were.
Guadalupe, Thallir, Solange, & *Hunters*
The bow man had no time to grab a new arrow from his sling, and so he held his heavy bow foward as the wolf struck. The man fell to the ground, but he was not wounded yet, for Arrow's jaws only hit the tought metal of the weapon. The man instantly began to kick and punch at the wolf, trying to drive him off.
His companion was not so lucky. He was just aiming to shoot at the fallen Spitfire when Mercury hit. With a cry, the man was brought down and the wolf's fangs sunk deep into his throat. It was a fatal wound, but the man still had a bit of fight in him. He began to punch and kick at Mercury with what energy he could muster.
Solange was glad to be back into the protection of the forest, and even more glad to see that the fawns were alright. As they reached the thicket, he looked to Shadowed and Segreto, "Thank you, very much." Even as he thanked the two, his mind was deep in thought about these new hinds. Who were they, and where did they come from? Not wanting to sound rude about it, the white-tail asked as politely as he could, "Do you four have a home?"
Guadalupe and Thallir soon reached the thicket, with Thallir looking a bit more attentive now. Guad was both relieved and mortified at the sight of Shadowed and Solange; he was more than glad that they were still standing, but horrified at the blood. Not wanting to interrupt, he waited for the hinds to answer Solange.
Arcane, Mystery, Segreto and Ascosa
The four red deer listened, all were glad that no one was killed.
Arcane spoke up.
No, We have only just come upon these lands. I am Arcane, This is my fawn, Mystery. This is my friend, Segreto and this is my friends daughter Ascosa.
After a brief greeting from Segreto, Mystery and Ascosa tottered over to Bramble and Thorn.
Hello! I'm Mystery and this is my friend, Ascosa!
They both smiled before Ascosa suggested,
Do you wanna play somethin?
Guadalupe, Thallir, Solange, & *Hunters*
"It's very nice to meet you, Arcane, Segreto." He nodded to the two, as well as their fawns. "I'm Solange, this is Guadalupe, Shadowed, Thallir, Thorn, and Bramble." He said, pointing his muzzle to each as they were named. But unlike the hinds, he didn't really say their relations. As a buck, he didn't really keep good track of that stuff anyway, "I'd be glad to escort you four to our herd, if you'd like. It's grown comfortably large, and we've many stags on patrol to help guard the young ones." He offered hopefully.
Thallir kept looking back in the direction of the open prairie, hoping that the wolves had control of the humans. And more so, that the wolves didn't enter the woods.
Guadalupe looked from Solange to Shadowed, wanting to get his two friends back to the herd lands where they'd be more safe.
Bramble
Bramble wiggled his tail in excitement, "Yeah, lets play a game! But which one?" He questioned, then glanced back at the bucks, hoping they'd let him and the other yearlings play a game.
