*Ground Squirrels*

A large family of ground squirrels climb timidly out of their dens, whistling and peeping as the look cautiously about. After a while, they begin to feed.

Stormfalcon/Ulina

Stormfalcon stalks low to the ground, watching the squirrels. Ulina lumbers behind her, already walking in the typical wolverine way. It would be hard for her to hunt, but she could do it. Stormfalcon instructs her to stay there, and then moves around to the back of the squirrels. She then runs from the forest, trying to herd the squirrels towards Ulina.

*Ground Squirrels*

They give their alarm cry, and most dart back to their dens. Two youngsters can't get to a den in time, so they dash off away from Stormfalcon, heading near Ulina.

Ulina

Ulina leaps from the bushes, and pounces on one of the squirrels, biting at its neck with her powerful jaws.

*Ground Squirrels*

Caught off guard, the squirrel gives a high-pitched cry just before the wolverine's jaws crush its neck. The other squirrel takes a sharp turn and darts off through the grass, heading far from its den. It locates a half-collapsed tunnel that is only three feet deep, and dives in.
