Glow Of The Night
The comppletey black fae trotted in her black mane and tail blowing in the winds. She neighed out to anyone people, wolves, horses anything could hear her neigh. Rearing up she landed, restless she would not rest until she found a home mate anything.
Guadalupe
A young white-tailed deer was heading into the prairie, with the mission of keeping two yearling deer occupide for a while. He wasn't exactly sure how to keep them entertained, or safe for that matter, but he'd try. As the deer crossed through the grasses, he heard the mare. Pausing with his large ears thrown forward, Guadalupe glanced back to see if the yearlings were following, "Um, that creature is a horse. The females are called mares." He tried to sound very knowledgable on the matter, but really, he sounded quite rediculous. The young stag looked back, wondering of Glow of the Night had spotted him.
Thorn
The little doe trotted after Guadalupe but just sniggered when he tried to explain about horses. She'd met one before but didn't know the males and females had different names. Ah-well, didn't really matter. The yearling turned to face Bramble and smiled cheekily before watching Guadalupe again. Seeing he wasn't particularly knowledgable about what he should do she said...
Urm...Why are we here?...Do you know what your doing?
Bramble
Bramble stopped beside Thorn and grinned, switching his little tail. "Aw, I don't want to learn names! Lets play a game!" The yearling buck insisted, tossing his head a bit. There were two tiny bumps on the top of his head, but that was all he had to show for 'antlers' right now.
Thorn
The yearling doe grinned and jumped around.
Yeah! Lets PLAY!!
She butted Bramble with her head and cried TAG! YOUR IT!. She charged off, frolicing in the long grass.
Guadalupe
"Well, I.... Hey! Wait!" The young stag cried, seeing Thorn run off, "No, wait! We can't..." Guadalupe thought fast, trying to remedy the situation. Suddenly he leapt forward to buffet Bramble, then took off to catch up with Thorn, "I've a new game, follow me!" The buck called out, trying to catch up with the yearling doe, "Stop, I've another game! A much funner one!"
Thorn
The doe chuckled and skidded to a halt at the sound of a better game. Giggling, the yearling tottered over to Guadalupe and inquired.
What is it?...Hmmmm...
Shadowed Promise
The mare chuckled, she had been watching the scene from afar and had heard Nhosh tell Guadalupe to teach the fawns about life in general. Haha, he wasn't having much luck. She trotted over and let out a soft whinny, telling them of her presence. She approached Guadalupe.
Tut-tut Guadalupe,You shouldn't be playing games.
She shook her elegant head before saying.
I can see you've got a problem here...let me help.
She smiled down at the two fawns.
Hello, I'm Shadowed Promise.
Guadalupe
Guadalupe grinned sheepishly, butting her back, though carefully for he had two little antlers on his head. "Hail, Shadowed! Well... er..." The buck trailed off, for he hadn't really thought of a game. He had justed wanted to get their attention before something bad might happen.
"I was thinking... a game of... follow the Lead!" He looked from the fawns to his friend, seeing if this idea sounded in any way like a fun game.
Shadowed Promise + Thorn
The mare chuckled.
Is that the best you can do?
She snorted and shook her head, making her long, silky curtains shake gently.
Thorn stopped giggling and gasped, ducking down in the grass as the mare trotted over. However she soon relaxed, this mare obviously ment no harm. She choked out the words...
I'm...Thorn..I..
She stopped and smiled scaredly, the amre could squash her if she wanted to. She winced at the thought but as she heard Guadalupes 'exciting' game she looked totally unimpressed.
That's you idea of a game?...
She just stood there, her eyes slowly looked at Bramble, then Shadowed, the Guadalupe.
Bramble
He snorted, shaking his head after he got buffeted by Gaudalupe. Seeing as Thorn stopped, Bramble obligingly decided to stop and listen to the buck as well. "Pah, that's no fun! I say hide and seek, or tag! Now those are fun games." The yearling insisted, looking boldly to Guadalupe. His dark, chocolatey eyes glanced to Shadowed Promise now and then, but his mother had shown him horses when he was younger.
Guadalupe
He scrapped a hoof over the ground, a bit embarrassed still, "Eh, that's the best I got, I guess." He laughed a bit and looked to Bramble, "I don't know... there's so many predators, and Nhosh wanted me to protect you..." Guadalupe hesitated, but he wasn't much of a leader figure. "How about... lets see who's fastest! We can race to that shrub over there." He suggested, nodded to a distant shrub. "That way, we'll stay together."
Shadowed Promise + Thorn
Thorn grinned at Bramble suggestion of Tag. She was about to tag him when Guadalupe interupted her intentional movement by suggesting races.
But that wouldn't be fair as me and Bramble aren't as fast as you and Shadowed. That would be cheating if you raced against me and Bramble! I'll tell Nhosh if you cheat because cheatings not good!
Thorn chuckled and whispered to Bramble.
When he's not looking let run away and play something FUN like tag!
However Shadowed overheard.
Lets not Thorn.
But she couldn't help but be amused at the teasing of Guadalupe by the two fawns.
Come on Guadalupe, You can stand up to two fawns now, can't you? And Thorn, Guadalupes so SLOW he couldn't catch a turtle, even if he wanted too.
She chuckled and watched the two yearlings, then Guadalupe.
What do you say to that, you gooey pushover!
She was just messing around and hoped he knew that. The smiling and sarcastic giggling gave it away though really.
Bramble
Bramble laughed aloud, listening to the banter against Guadalupe. His tail flicked merrily before he dipped his head slyly and whispered, "Sounds good to me." He glanced to Shadowed, hoping she didn't hear him, for he was still up to it.
Guadalupe
He was taken aback at fisrt, his eyes wide in disbelief. "I-I Uh.." The young stag studdered, then his eyes narrowed and a grin came to him, understanding that it was all in good nature. "Ha, a pushover? Lets just see about that!" He exclaimed, "I will be the wolf, and you must all run from me! That little tree way out there is safety. Run to it before I catch you!" Guadalupe said, rearing up a bit and shaking his little antlered head. He did his best to make a growl sound, and hoped that this game sounded more entising to the fawns.
