Buck
The buck moved through the fields feeding on shoots of grass and young tender grasses. He hadn't seen any other mule deer was he the only one? He grunted and looked around for danger. Buck grunted again calling for anyone that would come preferably a mulie doe the rut had started and he wanted a mate.
Free Spirit
Free Spirit, a greatly respected stallion of the imfamous Horse Clan, was wandering around their old home. He, and the Clan, had lived here long back when they first came to the valley, and he alone had personally made freinds with a growing deer herd. They were like helping allies. They had even killed humans for the fun of it. He indeed was a wanted equine. The most wanted one, in fact. Even though there were only two including him. But still, he had alot more to look forward to in the future. And even though he wasn't another deer, he made an excellent and loyal friend.
Snorting loudly as he came apon the Mule buck, he slowed and tossed his head, letting a low nicker drift toward his ears. It was a freindly greeting. In case he didn't already have a herd to live in, he could take him to his deer friend's new homeland. Coming closer now, but still keeping a respectful distance, he spoke:
"Greetings, I am Free Spirit. Who might you be?" he said, head raising daintily as he studdied the Mule buck's interesting and new looks.
Buck
Buck watched the horse trot up to him. He grunted and replied. The names Buck friend. He pawed the ground in a friendly manner.
Free Spirit
Free Spirit nodded daintily, slightly bobbing his head.
"Are you new to the valley? If you are, and aren't in a herd, I have a possible offer for you."
He said, tail flicking and then swishing up and down. He snorted lightly, raising a hoof and then tilting it on the ground.
Buck
Yes I am new to the valley well kinda I've been here for about two weeks. He looked around amking sure no predators were near. What is your offer friend Im willing to listen to it.
Free Spirit
Free Spirit nodded, and then snorted lightly.
"I was new to the Valley once, since I wasn't born here. I moved here with a clan I am in. It's called the Horse Clan. Anyway, if you wish, I could take you to a deer herd that I know... I am sure they would enjoy another member. Plus, the herd has been growing. So, do you desire to go, or live life as a loner?" he said quickly, one ear forward while the other was thrown back incase anything would happen to just come up behind him.
Buck
The deer pondered on his offer then asked. Who is the leader is it Nhosh? He tossed his head and grunted
Free Spirit
Free Spirit nodded, feeling excited when he thought about his old friend. nd by old, he didn't actually mean he was old. They were just friends for a long time now. "Indeed. We are old pals. How do you know of him?" he said, flicking his tail arond as he really wanted to know.
Buck
He was the first deer to invite me into a herd and i will happily go with you and join his herd. He grinned and waited for the stallion to lead the way.
Free Spirit
Free Spirit nodded, his mane and forelock bobbing with his head's movement.
"Great. Follow me." he said before turning and trotting off, to the Oak Prairie TT
