Shadowed Promise
Mare 3-beat into the grassy prairie. Talons gripped the earth as she left cresent moon imprints in her wake. Animation ceased as the dove grew tired and dipped her elegantly arched boa to snip at the tall grass beneath her. Optics looked around for danger and radars were alert. After a few minutes she fnished her qick feast and walked forth but to where she did not know. She let out a whinnie to anyone that would hear it whether male or female as she was lonely and needed some company. She flicked her tassles and tossed her banner. She waited patintly for any reply.
Gaudalupe
The young white-tailed buck was venturing far from his new home for the first time. His antlers were small, for he was just a 2 year old now and had a lot of growing to do. Unlike most deer, his fur was a deep black in color, due to a genetic mutation. Too much pigment. But a white patch encircled his throat, eyes, muzzle, and under his tail.
Hearing the whinnie, Gaudalupe paused, pricking his large ears up and raising his slender neck. Then he began to spring through the tall grasses, moving like a shadow as he went. Finally spotting the horse, the young deer slowed down and spoke out in a merry tone, "Hello there! Are you alone?" He knew that a horse herd lived here in the prairie, and he wasn't sure if she were part of that herd or not. In anycase, he just wanted someone to chat with.
Shadowed Promise
Mare looked up as she heard a voice. Smile spread across her features.
Greetings. Yes i'm afraid i am. No one has claimed me yet. I be Shadowed Promise.
She looked down at the little deer bending her boa a little so she was the same hight as him. Optics, kind and tranquil, looked the little fawn over.
Don't you belong to a herd? You look young to be out on your own.
Pistons moved her frame closer to him. Cresents imprinted the earths crust from where her journey had begun to where she was now. Tassles danced lighlty round her boa as a slight breeze blew across the prairie. She tossed her boa before returning it to it's bent position by the deer.
Gaudalupe
He tried to raise himself taller, to look more 'grownup' and strong. "Shadowed Promise? I'm Gaudalupe! My herd has just claimed land in the south east part of the land, in a place called Storm Valley." The young buck pointed out proudly, "Say, there's a horse herd just north of us. I don't think it is very big yet, but I'm sure they'd be thrilled to have another member." Gaualupe relayed. He hadn't met that herd yet, but had heard about it from his lead.
Shadowed Promise
I won't go intruding into their terrain, but thanks for the information Gaudalupe.
She smiled at him. Occuli looked at the young buck, full of kindness and tranquility.
Wheres your family? Are some of them here or are they at your homeland?
She tossed her dial while she waited for his response.
Night Light
The golden mare trotted up to the odd pair. " Hello. My name is Night Light," she blushed as she said this, she thought her name was silly, but she knew she was being foolish, her coat did have an eerie glow at night. "What might your names be?" She asked calmly, her sweet voice ringing.
Guadalupe
He ebony deer dipped his head down a bit at the mare's innocent question of his family. It was a sore subject for him, so he tried to go around it, "My herd is my family." Then he perked up, for he loved chatting, "And our lead, Nhosh, followed his herd here. Well, he's a red deer... so he's got a big herd! Er, well... he doesn't live in that herd now, since he established his own... but, eh, it's a big herd anyway." The pricket stopped himself, knowing he was rambling on. As the new mare approached, Guadalupe dipped his short-antlered head to her, "Greetings! I'm Guadalupe."
Night Light
"Hello," the golden mare said brightly," Why are you here?" She directed this question towards both the horse and the deer.
Shadowed Promise
Hello. I am Shadowed Promise. I come here seeking a new life with a herd but at the moment i am alone.
She smiled at the horse and deer. Tail swayed as she tossed her dial. She waited for a reply.
Night Light
" I seek a herd as well. All I really want is a home, and a foal."
Guadalupe
"I'm just on patrol, for my own herd." The pricket piped up, flicking his short tail a bit. Now his attention drifted toward Night Light, "I was telling Shadowed here that a horse herd lives just to the north of our border. I haven't really met them yet, but if you want, I could lead you there. Or maybe tell them that two mares are looking for a home?" Gaudaulpe said, trying to be as friendly and helpful as he could.
Night Light
"I'd like to join a herd..."
*Fire*
A thick, acrid scent began to drift through the air, easy for the horses and deer to detect. Several hundered yards away, hidden behind a steeply-sloped hill, a small fire was building strength. A human had been through the area shortly before Shadowed Promise had arrive, riding on a horse of their own. A carelessly tossed cigarette had smoldered on the ground for several minutes before a few dry plants around it heated enough to fead the embers of the little white object. Smoke had furled up in small whisps as the three creatures talked.
Now a flame had sparked to life, clinging to a stalk of dead bramble and a clutter of last year's dead grass. The flames grew, throwing more smoke into the air until it was detectable by the three creatures. And now, as they must be scenting the foul smoke, the fire grew with a passion. Flames spread quickly, flickering from one stalk to the next and growing rapidly. Soon the tongues of yellow and orange licked high above the grasses. Fueled by the wind, the fire began to spread swiftly...
Night Light
The horse screamed in fear of the fire, she new it was dangerouse. Circling her new found companions, she reared, then tried to get them away.
Shadowed Promise
I too want a herd and a foal i can call my own.
She looked at the young buck, her friend.
Please could you talk to them but if they refuse i doesn't matter.
She smiled at them both but her look of happiness turned to a look of panic when she saw the thick smoke in the air, she could smell the fire now. Her body tensed, she couldn't move with fear. Pillars were finally thrown into the air. A load scream was released from the mares vocals as she saw the orange tonges of the flames sweeping across the grass. The wind picked up, the elements were against them. She thundered down upon the ground, diamonds digging into the earths crust deeply, scarring its surface for eternity. The long grass and wind were conspiring against them. She looked at Night Light.
We must leave at once! Quickly!
Guadalupe
He was at once ready to depart for his homeland, and then to their neighboring horse herd, when the scench of smoke invaded his keen nostrils. At once, the young buck's eyes were lit wide with fear. He had never encountered a fire in the wild, and he only known it to be around the humans. Gaudalupe stomped his his hoof into the ground and gave a warning snort, "What if it is a human's trick to kill or capture us?" He wondered out loud in a terrified voice, stilling making the strong connection between man and fire. His muscles were tense and he felt like running, but feared some hidden ambush by humans.
Shadowed Promise
We will be captured together. I will not let them hurt you. They will have to kill me before they get to you and by then you'll be gone.
She gently nudged the buck with her muzzle, and smiled. she turned to Night Light.
Same for you too. I will protect you no matter what.
She smiled at them both then turned to watch the inferno, the flames reflected in her optics. Tossing her dial she reared, before nudging her companions to move away from the flames.
Night Light
"I used to live with humans," she turned away and shuddered,"This fire couldn't have started alone, a human passed by here." She said this quietly, not wanting to scare anyone.
*Fire*
The fire traveled steadily now, wrapping itself around the base of the hill at first before beginning its climb upward. The shooting flames, growing higher and hotter by the minute, were making a semi-circle around the hill where the three were on. The smoke was billowing darkly into the sky now, enough to begin stinging their eyes and nose, and possibly dissorienting them. This fire was fanned and fueld on by the sturdy winds, which made it grow dangerously fast in little time.
Shadowed Promise
She began to sway, smoke entering her airways and choking her. Her pelt began to heat rapidly as the fire increased. As she looked up she saw the sky being filled with thick black smoke. The wind picked up blowing the flames in their direction faster and faster. She went to move but her legs buckled and she collapsed, she was concious but the world began to spin. She got up but was still swaying, she tryed to communicate with her friends.
We...we...nee..need..to...moo..ve..
She started to walk but stopped swaying violently. He boa was dropped significantly and her legs shook with the wieght of her limp body.
Guadalupe
The pricket's nostrils where flared and his eyes as wide as saucers as he watched the mezmerizing flames leap up like some wild, living creature. Pulling his gaze from the inferno, the young deer looked to Shadowed Promise. Behind the facade of fear and confusion that this terrible situation had brought on, there was awe and gratitude in his orbs for the brave words she had offered him. "You have my protection as well, Shadowed." He tried to say it as confidently and bravely as possible, but he couldn't hide the tremble in his voice.
And now he turned back to the dancing flames as his acute vision began to swim and get distorted by the thickening smoke. He could smell nothing but that horrid, acrid, burning stench. And only the voices of his two friends reached him about the roaring crackle of the fire and the howling winds that drove its deadly smoke towards them. The instinct to bolt nearly overwhelmed him now, but his legs began to feel weak as well. And now the smoke was so thick that he could not tell which way to run. "Oh Imre, save us!" The deer choaked out in a gasp, speaking of the deer god that his herd beleived in.
Shadowed Promise
The huntress heard the buck scream for help. She called back to him, trying to reassure him but let out a cry when her pillars buckled for the second time. She tryed to stand and make her way towards him to comfort him but couldn't. Her vision was distorted, she couldn't make out what was what. The smoke continued to clog her airways making her cough and splutter. She let out a weak scream. With the flames nearing she had no choice but to try and run or scream for help. She stayed on the ground, that was slowly being swallowed by the flames, as she couldn't get up. Her legs were shaking so much and her head swayed. Her lungs were filled with thick smoke. She tryed to see where she was but the smoke was so thick and her optics were so distorted she couldn't see which way to head. Behind the smoke could be safety or death. She turned her boa to try and see her friends but her vision had split, she could see 3 of each of her friends but the fire roaring behind the looked ten times more fierce. She screamed again, trying to get to her feet but couldn't and every struggle was making her weaker and weaker. They needed help...fast.
Free Spirit
The young stallion was wandering around through the prairie, when an unusual but threatening scent met his working nostrils. But then he could smell one of his friend's somewhere near... With a loud neigh, Free Spirit started galloping toward the fire, and the other three animals. He franticaly found a way through the flames, but he could just barely see anyone in the thickness of the smoke. Then he let out another neigh, but louder this time. He would see if his deer friend would reply...
Nhosh & Guadalupe
Guadalupe caughed and shook his head, scything the air with his little two-point antlers. His eyes and lungs stung so bad! He staggered towards Shadowed, his head held desperately low and his legs quivering with depleted energy. "We- w." The little deer's breath was too taken by the smoke, and he couldn't finish his sentence. As the flames licked closer and closer, he found the heat unbearable. Small embers were brushed into the air by the winds and singed his fur. Guadalupe panicked and cried out, stamping his hooves and shaking his head angrily. But it only made his swimming head worse, and his balance left him. Kicking out, the young buck fell to his side with a gasp. The sound of his friend's screams drove him to try and get up again. His smaller body and nimble legs made it a bit easier on him, and he mangaged to pull himself up before tottering over near the fallen mare. He blinked helplessly down at her for a moment, his mind stolen by fear and desperation. But taking control of his senses a bit, Guadalupe fell heavily to his knees and pressed against Shadowed's shoulder, trying to help her to her feet. He was a great deal smaller than her, but he still tried.
Nhosh had caught scent of the fire and heard the faint sounds of his friends. Racing like the wind, the stag made it to the fire and saw Free Spirit disappear into the billowing flames and smoke. "Free spirit!" He barked in alarm, knowing how dangerous fires could be. Not hesitating a moment, the red deer plunged into the inferno after his friend. The embers stung his hide and the thick smoke burned his eyes and lungs something terrible. The heat was intense and all the stag's instincts told him to get out of there. But Nhosh shrugged aside the thoughts and pushed on until he came up beside Free Spirit. By now, he had scented Guadalupe and the two mares. "We must hurry!" He bellowed, trying to outvoice the roaring flames. The stag strained against the almost blinding smoke, but could see neither of the trapped creatures. It was Guadalupe's last cries that turned him in the right direction, "Spirit, this way!" He called out, choking on the smoke now. The stag moved forward, keeping his head low and ignoring his growing discomforts. Finally he spotted the young deer and Shadowed. Sprinting towards them, he kneeled down as well and braced the mare's other side, trying to help her up.
Shadowed Promise
With her head still swimming, Shadowed felt Guadalupe push her, trying to help her up, but he couldn't do it on his own. Her legs were shaking so much that she couldn't get up with just him. The suddenly she heard crys of others and another deer pushing on her other side. She slowly stood up. She tryed to say something.
Th..th..ann..kkk..
Her lungs would not allow it and she chocked, breathing slowed and she coughed violently. The heat was dehydrating her and the ashes and smoke were causing her lungs to stop significantly. Optics fickered, she stood shaking, head boa down. She swung it round to face the inferno. The flames roared. Now she was angry, hurt, weak. She looked at the deers who had helped her, especially Guadalupe. She smiled weakly but then thought of something she had promised him earlier. She had promised to care for him and protect him. She felt her energy flood back to her. They needed to get out, She cryed to Night Light, before turning to the new deers that had arrived. She spoke slowly and lightly.
He..llo...I..a..aam...Shh..adow..ed..pro..mi..se..
She coughed. Her vision swam but she could just make out their figures. She smiled faintly.
You...must go...now...take Guadalupe annnd...leave..i'll..wait for..Night..Light...
She smiled at Guadalupe and nudged him gently so as not to push him over as she knew he was weak as well. She turned to Nhosh and nudged him before indicating the way through the smoke to safety. She looked back at her friend.
I'll...be..fine..
With one last lingering glance she turned from the trio and stumbled toward Night Light but turned her boa back.
Dont follow me, if i'm in...danger just...just stay away. I don't w..waant anything to..to happen to you th...three. Just let me g..go, o..o.k.
She turned back to the inferno and went to look for NIght Light, alone.
Night Light
"Shadowed, not the best time for intros," said the little mare, pushing her way through the flames. "Come here, I, I'll l-lead you o-out of the flames." Acrid smoke burning chocing her, she stumbled over to Shadowed, and tried to help her.
Nhosh & Guadalupe
Nhosh nodded, offering a faint smile to the mare when she introduced herself, althought the smoke and their burning eyes probably obscured the gesture. He was going to respond to her, but Guadalupe began to cough violently. "Come!" He barked, his oiwn voice beginning to get strangled. The red deer led his dazed, swaggering friend out of the inferno. Guadalupe crumpled to his knees when they were beyond the fire and smoke. Falling to his side, the young deer coughed and gasped, struggling to take in air. His eyes burned so much that he kept them tightly closed.
Nhosh stood beside his young friend a moment, retrieving his own breath and shaking the burning embers from his coat. "Rest, Guadalupe. I will be back in just a moment." Nhosh sucked in a deep draft of air and plunged back into the flames. Free Spirit was still inside, and he also intended to try and help the two mares. "Free Spirit!" The stag bellowed loudly, squinting his dark eyes in the thick smog. "Shad-do-owed!" Nhosh bellowed as loudly as he possibly could while the smoke swarmed into his nose and lungs. Unable to see them, he only hoped they could hear his loud calls and come towards him, and towards the way out.
Shadowed Promise
With her other companion by her side the mare let out a weak cry. Radas heard Nhosh's cry and she followed it. Every now and again she would swing her boa back to see if NIght Light was till following. She coughed violently. Another cry was released as that was her only form of communication. She could barely see where she was going. Radars pricked as she lisetened for any other sounds. She began to stumble towards Nhosh's voice, still checking her friend was behind her. At least Guadalupe was safe. She saw Free Spirit. Letting out a weak cry to him she continued to try and track Nhosh's voice. Through the smoke she saw a figure. She began to run but her legs collapsed. She slowly stood up again. She turned back to see if her companions were coming. Optics were filled with the colors of red, orange and yellow as the flames continued to swallow everything in their path. She turned again to the figure of Nhosh and let out a weak neigh. Legs shaking, optics swimming and violently coughing she saw him.
Night Light
The mare still followed her friend, though it was imensly difficult to see her. She also wondered if the mare could see her, for she was blending in so well. She let out a weak scream, and attempted to catch up with her friend, but stumbled. She drew herself up and walked on.
Nhsoh & Guadalupe
He lowered his head a moment, trying to see. Finally he noticed the two mares, but just barely. Their cries, however, came clear to his hearing. He shook his ruddy-toned coat and stamped his hooves at the ground, angered by the pain of the embers that were burning his hide. Nhosh moved forward, brushing against both mares before turning and heading back for the exit. Unable to tolerate the thick heat, the stag sprung high and far, his powerful legs carrying him over the gathering flames and to the fresh grass beyond the growing ring of fire. Turning back around, he called again, "Jump for it! You're almost there!" He moved out of the way, leaving them room to make it out of the closing exit.
Shadowed Promise
She felt Nhosh's pelt brush her. She turned hearing NIght Lights cry and she whinnied back. She stumbled towards her friend and spoke weakly.
We need...to get..out of here...come..on..this way...
She coughed before heading towards the place where Nhosh had jumped. She looked down and saw the flames, they were trapped, they had to jump over it. Her legs were so weak but she had to do it or else she would die. She gave one alst cry to Night Light before moving backwards. She stared at the flames. Animation was still for a few moments. Silence. Not a movement or sound except from the growling flames below. She charged gathering speed before propelling herself off the edge of the hill and flying through the air. She crashed to the floor. She didn't even make an effort to get up. She was too weak, all her energy had been to jump the flames. Boa was layed on the ground, tassles spread out. Legs were still, the embers from the flames stuck on her hide, black blobs of burning ash. She coughed violently, her eyes bulging as she gasped for breath. Only Night Light to come out. She rolled her eyes to see if she was there.
Nhosh & Guadalupe
Nhosh was relieved to see one of the mares come out, but he knew there was still another yet to come. And then his dear friend, Free Spirit. He snorted, pawing the ground once again with growing anxiety as his eyes were transfixed and the twisted, leaping shades of orange, red, and yellow. "Free Spirit!" The stag barked loudly, rearing up once in a fuetile effort to spot the stallion. He could have been as high as a giraffe and still the smoke would have blocked his view. He began to pace slightly, debating whether he should go in or not. But to go in might mean his life now. And furthermore, Guadalupe and Shadowed Spirit were terribly vulnerable to predators and humans at the moment.
Guadalupe stirred in the grass, kicking his legs out once. Nhosh looked back, "Lie still and gather your strength. Don't fret, Shadowed Promise." His dark eyes turned to the mare now and he worried. "I will watch for further danger." He vowed, then turned his gaze back to the flames. He felt terribly winded himself, and all his senses apart from hearing were temporarily hindered by smoke and heat. But he had not been in nearly as long as the other three, so he fared a good deal better.
Night Light
The mare barely saw when her friend jumped the ring of flames. She gathered herself up, and with a new burst of strengh, jumped the ring of flame. Unfortuanetly, a high rising flame brushed her stomach. She stumbled, then fell beside her friend, a small blister forming on her stomach where the flame had kissed her.
Shadowed Promise
Radars rotated to listen to Nhosh. She saw his tension, there was one more stag to get out. She let out a sharp cry for him, to show him where to come. She smiled faintly at Nhosh. She lifted her boa slightly and saw Guadalupe. She sighed before laying still on the ground again. He lungs were recovering slowly from all the ash and toxic smoke she had inhaled. Her pelt still burned from the intense heat and ember stuck on her hide but she ignored it. Free spirit was still in there, so was Night Light. At that moment optics caught the sight of Night light apprearing from the flames, shw saw the flame lick her stomach. As her friend landed the minx let out a releaved and comforting whinnie. She coughed again. She watched the deadly fire for any sign of Free Spirit.
Night Light
Night Light smiled faintly, happy to see her friend safe. Then she noticed the tension, and realized the other horse was still in the ring of fire. She whinnied weakly, as did Shadowed, hoping he could hear her over the flames.
Shadowed Promise
Slowly the mare tried to stand. As she reached an upright position she walked over to Night Light and nudged her in a friendly way. She smiled at the mare before stumbling over to Nhosh. She coughed before speaking weakly.
Thank you *cough* for saving us.
She smiled gratefully at him before walking over to Guadalupe. She looked down at him worriedly. She lay down beside the buck and spoke softly to him.
It's o.k were safe now. Relax and rest were here, protecting you.
She nuzzled him in a friendly manner before getting up and walking back over to join Nhosh. She looked at her friends, then at the flames. Nhosh and Free spirit weren't even there when the fire started but Free Spirit was the last to emerge. She didn't want anything to happen to him otherwise it would be her fault. If she had gotten her friends out then Nhosh and Free spirit would've arrived and we'd be safe so no-one went back into the flames. Still there was no sign of him and she was getting agitated. She wanted to go it and help but there was no way anyone could jump uphill over a towering inferno. She sighed before admitting another high pitched scream to Free Spirit, but would he be able to hear her over the noise of the flames. Would he ever come out?
Free Spirit
Free Spirit coughed as he felt his lungs being 'jabbed' by the intense smoke and heat, and he snorted loudly, trying to relieve his nostrils of the smell althoguh he knew nothing of the sort would work. He heard Nhosh's voice, and he reared up, letting a shrill, high pitched neigh to echo off the hot flames that grew around him. Landing with a thud, he started to gallop around carefully, ears alert for any signs of escape, or Nhosh.
Nhosh & Guadalupe
Nhosh nodded, offering the mare a faint smile, "No problem. I am glad to help the Aras when ever they need it." Here was a bit of terminology from his homelands, far from Sparkling Creek Valley. Where he came from, Aras referred to hooved animals, whether they be deer, horse, or anything else. Suddenly his ears perked forward at a more intense angle as the sharp neigh came to them. "Free Spirit!" his voice rang out in a mixture of alarm and relief. So his friend was still alive, and close at hand; yet trapped. The stag raced along the edge of the fire, getting as close as the intense flames would allow. He found an area where the flames didn't seem so high as the rest. "This way! Free Spirit, make a jump here!" Nhosh only hoped his voice carried through to his equine friend.
Guadalupe lifted his head, looking at a blurry image of Shadowed. Blinking quickly, the young pricket shook his head and tried to stand. He winced at the sting in his lung and the burning points all about his hide. But he tried to be brave, because he didn't want to look foolish or weak in front of his friends. "Are very brave." He replied to the mare with a smile, though his voice was still constricted.
Free Spirit
Free Spirit stopped, skidding as he did. He could hear Nhosh's voice, but it was very faint to him. But he could tell where the deer was and what he had said, so without wasting a moment's second, he raced toward the flames and leaped, bracing himself for the pain he would feel if he came intact with them. But he landed on the other side, but he fell to his side, beathing heavy as he took in the fresh air, though smoke was still battling. He snorted and then stood shakily, looking at Nhosh. "Phew... I've never seen something so dangerous before. Other than humans, of course." he said, shaking his mane as he started to steadily walk away from the flames, heading toward where the others were.
Night Light
The mare stood up, her legs shaking as she did so. She walked over to congragulate Free Spirit, but a cough came out instead. "Sorry" she said weakly, with a faint smile on her face.
Nhosh & Guadalupe
Nhosh gave a sigh of relief, seeing his friend come out. "That was a close one." He stated, nodding his antlers to Free Spirit. Now he addressed everyone, "You are all welcome to take refuge in my land until you feel better. I've got a sentry of three other stags that will patrol for danger, as well as myself." The stag offered, and then added, now speaking to the mares, "There are many horse herds around too, though I haven't had the time to get aquainted with any of them yet."
Night Light
"Thanks, but I can only accept if Shadowed accepts. I've finally made a friend, and I feel I shoudn't part, unless she feels differentl." She glanced at Shadowed, wondering about her response.
Shadowed Promise
She smiled as she heard Guadalupe speak before turning and seeing Free Spirit leap out of the flames. She walked over to him.
Glad your still with us.
She heard Nhosh and nodded.
I'm very grateful that you are offering us a place to rest Nhosh. I will come, thank you, but as soon as i'm better i will leave and find my own place.
She looked at Night Light.
With Night Light of course!
She walked over to Guadalupe. She bent down and tried to help him up gently.
Night Light
"Thanks. I'm willing to help find a place once were better. I don't know where you'd want to go, but I really dom't care." After that she went to help Guadalupe.
Free Spirit
Free Spirit slightly pulled back when the mare caughed, but then he became calm once again.
"It's opkay, I guess." he said before turning to Nhosh. "My herd is thinking about claiming a terra instead of living here. This place is alot more dangeorus, besides there are many other animals wandering around." he then said, tail flicking from side to side as he emitted a low cough.
Nhosh & Guadalupe
He nodded to his friend, "That would be a good idea. A lot more goes on around here, and," The stag glanced to the raging flames, "Not much of it seems to be good." Nhosh walked past the four creatures, gazing for a moment towards the horizon before looking back to them, "You may stay as long as you wish at our domain, for there is plenty of food and protection. Although..." The deer shook his head, dismissing what he was going to say. Without further ado, he headed for the Storm Valley, leading all that choose to follow.
Guadalupe came to his feet, his thin legs quavering a bit as he did so and his head held weakly down. But again, trying to look strong and confident, he pulled himself up into a more dignant pose and smiled cheerfully at the mares and Free Spirit. "Well that was quite an adventure, huh?" The prickets voice was coming around, but the smoke that had so tightly gripped it was still apparent. He began to head after Nhosh.
Night Light
The elagent mare was hesitant to follow, she waited for Shadowed.
Shadowed Promise
She smiled at them all before walking over to Night Light.
Lets go then. We need to rest. As soon as were ready we should find a herd of our own.
She followed Nhosh and Guadalupe to their home.
Night Light
The golden mare followed her friend.
