*Humans*

Five humans were heading across the prairie, each bearing a firearm of sorts, and each on a fourwheeler. There were three riffles and two shotguns.

They were hunting for anything, really. Be it wolf, cat, bear, or even horse. They'd take about anything now; although there was one animal in particular they were keeping their eye out for... a certain she-cougar whom they had a personal grudge against. A cougar who had killed a friend of theirs at the Marshes.

Talon

A peregrine falcon flew high above the praire below and spotted humans with firearms. He looked about a lot of creatures lived here he screeched a loud and eerie call warning the animals about to beware of the humans.

Ransom, Serena, Defiance, Dream, Jaden

The group of five trotted along in the tall grasses a black male in the lead followed by three fems and another brute. Ransom the alpha of the pack lifted his nose to the sky and took a long, deep breath. Smelling the humans he grinned back at the others and they understood. They each in turn brought their noses to the sky and smelt the human spores. They liked having a little fun once in a while and now seemed a good time. They all crouched down and began to stalk in the humans direction. Ransom peered out from a patch of tall grass and saw the men on the four wheelers with ther firearms. He pinned his auds at the sight because he knew what the guns could do. He turned back to the others and whispered to them. The men have guns and are on some sort of vehicle. Should we go on with the attack? Personally he didn't want to hurt any of the pack but if they all wanted to then he would go too.

Serena & Dream:Serena peered around Ransoms shoulder at the humans and bared her fangs at them. She hated the stupid things, they hurt helpless animals and destroyed many homes and lives. She nodded at Ransom ready to sink her fangs into flesh. Dream was a little more scared than Serena and hestitated a bit. She tried to decide what to do. She finally nodded and bared her needles along side of Serena getting into the feel of it.

Defiance:He grinned along with his best friend and instanly whispered back. I'm up for it if everyone else is, but you know we will have to be extra careful. He glanced at Jaden and waited for the cougar to make up her mind.

Jaden & Ransom:She flexed her claws while trying to decided whether or not she would fight. Then finally nodding she looked around at the others and smiled faintly. Hey this would also get them some bounty. She put her deadly claws out and got into a hunters crounch ready to spring fom her hiding place. Ransom smiled faintly at them all and seeing as they all wanted to fight he whispered urgently. Okay if we're all doing it we have to be careful to not get badly hurt. If anyone is shot someone get them out of there unless it isn't too bad. If this goes badly wrong run and head for the territory. He nodded and crouched down to the ground waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

Lewa, Nenuz, Takua, Twister

Takua:The wolf heard the falcons cries and caught a glance at his pack he grinned he knew what was about to happen all heck would soon break lose. He trotted up to Ransom. Hey Ransom were here for yah just so you know we would like to help. He waited for the brutes response.

Nenuz:The cougar saw Jaden and purred. Why hello Jaden long time no see. He grinned and turned to the humans his claws and teeth were ready to tear into human flesh.

Lewa:The wolf looked at the men awkwardly what were the holding? Hey guys what are those things the people are holding? He pinned his ears back whatever they were he didn't like them.

Twister:The coyote din't feel comfortable around Serena she was a wicked wolf she had tormented him in public she wasn't very nice to him no one was ever nice to him expect Lewa and Takua. He backed away from the fae and tryed to turn his attention on the men.

Ransom, Serena, Jaden, Defiance, Dream

Ransom:He smiled faintly at Takua glad for some help from his pack. He whispered quickly to Takua before returning his attention to the men. Thanks and keep it down we are going to cirlce around them and on my signal attack. The signal is a soft woof that only we should be able to hear. He made sure the rest of them heard before turning to Lewa. Welcome to the fighting Lewa, those thing the humans are holding are guns. They can kill so you have to be careful. He looked at the others before seeing if they would speak breifly.

Serena & Dream:She spotted the coyote and grinned remembering her little fun she had with him. She wasn't going to mess with him right now for all her attenton was requiered on the humans but she might try and have fun later. She nodded to ransom and seeing there was nothing else she could do she started moving around to the other side of the humans. Dream did the smae and spaced out so that they were evenly apart.

Defiance & Jaden:Defiance nodded and padded away softly in the opposite direction of the fems. Lowering himself to a hunters crouch he waited ofr Ransom's signal. Jaden smiled at Nenuz and spoke breifly before moving away. Nice to see ou too, why don't you go across from me in our circle. She flashed him another smile before heading off in Defiances direction.

Ransom nodded to all and waited ofr them to get their jobs odne so they could attack soon.

Takua, Lewa, Nenuz, Twister

Takua:He grinned and started to follow Serena He kept low and tried to not make any noise.

Lewa:Lewa gulped and started to think twice about helping. Gosh my leg it hurts it always acts up when theirs danger nearby. He stayed with Ransom thinking he would be safer with him.

Nenuz: He did as Jaden told him he was straight across from Jaden when they were ready.

Twister:He went with Defiance he didn't know why but he did. Perhaps he was the farthest away from Serena as he could get. He was ready to taste human blood.

*Humans*

They continued riding along on their fourwheelers, going only about 10 to 15 mph, because they had to watch out for debris and thorn plants in the high grasses. The loud roar of thier machines droned out the sound of the predators, and they hadn't yet noticed the gathering creatures.

Talon

The falcon saw everything. He decided to help. He locked on to a man wielding a shotgun. He dived beak and talons outstreched. He screeched and hoped he could get the mens attention.

Ransom and others

Ransom he glanced at Lewa and smiled at him sympatheticly. He then lowered himself to the ground and bared his pearly whites ready to feel the human blood on his tongue. Glancing around he made sure everyone was ready before he would let out the signal.

Serena & Dream: Serena smiled at takua knowin he had a crush on her. Standing stalk still as she crouched she tensed her muscles, ready to spring. Her auds where pricked to catch Ransom's faint woof when it would come. Dream stood on Serena's other side and crouched low. Her fangs where pulled up in a snarl and she was just as ready as Serena and the others now.

Defiance & Jaden:Defiance looked at the little coyote quesioningly but didn't say anything. He kept quiet and ready, waiting to hear his alphas call. Jaden smiled as Nenuz did what she said and readied herself for attack. Her claws dug into the earth with her anticapation and hunger for the fight to come.

Ransom then seeing everyone was ready woofed. He then charged out of the brush as quietly as he could and raced after a man on a four wheeler. Taking a leap he tried to land on the back of the ATV and then go for a bite at the neck. The others sprang out too each trying for a diffrent one until there was no more. They all did the smae thing as Ransom so the man they had might not notice anyone else getting attacked.

Takua and the gang

Takua and everyone ran at the men doing as Ransom and the others. Lewa though in pain and confusion closed his eyes and charged at the men from the front in full view of the humans.

Nenuz:Lewa you idiot! He roared not realizing his own mistake until it was to late.

Lewa:He panicked Nenuz was roaring at him and the people could see him. He yelped and ran off.

Twister:He was laughing his heart out. Nenuz and Lewa looked so funny! But then a serious look spread across his face this was bad they had been discovered.

Takua:He growled and turned at Nenuz Don't laugh at him! He leapt at a man teeth shining in the sun.

*Humans*

One man spotted the falcon diving and threw his hand up, trying to bat the bird away. But before he could do much, Ransom had struck, taking him by the back of the neck. With a short cry, the man fell from the vehicle as his neck was broke between the wolf's jaws.

One man on the far right spotting Lewa and Nenuz. He braked quickly to avoid running her over, and turned sharply to the side. That's when he collided with Nenuz... Dream misses her hit on this man because of his sudden, sharp turn.

The third man spotted the commotion as well and slowed down his ATV. Swinging around, he saw something jumping for his fourwheeler. Quickly, his shotgun was swung around to strike Defiance and knock him down...

The fourth man wasn't so quick to notice all the trouble. Serena successfully landed on the back of the fourwheeler and grabbed his neck. But before his death could happen, he slammed into the back of the fifth ATV, causing the wolf to loose her bite. The man scrambled with his riffle and tried to swing it at her. As he did this, a pain seized his side where Takua managed to make his bite.

The fifth man was hit by Jaden and had no chance. Before he could bring his riffle around for a shot, his neck was broken. But the fourwheeler flipped sideways and rolled, because the man was going into a turn. If Jaden didn't move quick, the ATV would roll over her!

alayna

the tawny she-cat had been rudely awakened from a short nap by the shrieking of a hawk. confounded, noisy birds! she thought as she slowly stretched and stood, her gold-flecked eyes darting over the landscape quickly, seeking the source of the noise. her attention was quickly drawn to the commotion caused by the multiple wolves, and... sniffing the air lightly, her dark tail whipping about, she caught the thick stench of humans. more than one, as well. lowering herself in the dark grass, she slowly moved towards them, camoflauged in the tall grasses. narrowing her gaze slightly as she came upon the 'battle', a low hiss left her vocals. muscles taut, she emerged from the brush slowly, trying to decide which human to maim first... hah. no, not really. she was trying to make sense of this, and her now-acquired bloodlust beginning to emerge. snarling, she suddenly spun and leapt at the human that had collided with the wolf nenuz, her upper lip pulled back in a wicked smile. her needle-sharp claws were unsheathed, and she sought to grab ahold of him, her jaws aimed for any part of him she could catch... the hunted has become the hunter, i guess.

Ransom, Jaden, Serena & others

Ransom & Defiance: Ransom felt the mans neck snap and quickly jumped off the four wheeler then going to help the man that Defiance had he ran towards them. Fangs bared in a savage snarl he leapt just as the man swung. Hopefully he was occupied with Defiance to not see him coming and then Ransom could snap this mans neck. Defiance yelped as the shotgun struck him in the side. Falling to the ground hard he jumped up quickly though and snalred. Then leaping at the mans arm with the gun. He was trying to occupie him so Ransom could deliver the fatal bite. Ready to sink his needles in and hang on her began to thrash his head from side to side no matte if he had a hold or not.

Serena & Jaden:As Serena got a hold she felt the blood begining to rush into her mouth but was jerked around by the collision and lost her grip. She dodged the rifle swing which probaly would have missed anyways because takua attacked. Snarling she tryed again to grab his neck and break it. Jaden meanwhile saw the ATV coming and tried to get out of the way. She was almost there when it got her front paw. Hissing in pain she looked at it and saw not very seriuos damage just pain. She hissed with rage then ran at the man that had run over Nenuz. Seeing him she licked his cheek quickly before leaping at the man claws extended ready to take a grip and her jaws open to grab a hold anywhere.

Dream:She then went the guy that she had had before. Snarling she made for the guys leg ready to hold on and let Jaden do the main part.

Takua and others

Takua:Takua had a couple of needles ripped out of his mouth from the sudden rollover. He leapt over the ATV and attempted to sink his teeth into the mans stomach he wouldn't just kill him he would eat him he was a man-eater.

Lewa:The frightened wolf stayed hidde watching everything.

Nenuz:He suddenly felt great pain as the vehicle rolled over him as he was knocked unconsious.

Twister:The coyote growled and bit the man that Takua and Serena were going at he started biting his leg he was playing more than fighting and killing.

Taggerung, Wrath, Mhera and Bandit

Taggerung:The wolf trotted up to all the commotion and saw a gruesome battle scene. He turned to his pack. Hey those creatures need help are all of you up to it? He didn't want a bounty on his head.

Mhera and Bandit:Bandit being the young and anxious pup he was wanted to fight. Mama can we fight please!!! Mhera looked at her last son with a worried look on her face. Son you worry me so much if you attack those men then you will have a bounty on your head and your to young to be murdered by humans. She grabbed him by the scruff of the neck and moved back. count me and my son out on this one Taggerung She layed down and waited.

Wrath:The brute's muscluses rippled under his fur. I'll fight Tagg. He bowed politely. It would be my pleasure.

Talon

The falcon screeched and dived again talons aiming for the man who ran over the cougar. He was aiming to dig his talons into the back of the mans head. He liked the creatures the cougars but they would eat him in a heartbeat if he tried to talk to one.

*Humans*

The second man was in for a world of hurt. He managed to shot off his gun, though his aim was wild, before he was pulled down. Two cougars had assaulted him. Alayna's bite found his shoulder, while Jaden's found his side, by the ribs. His leg was hit next, and clutched between Dream's wolvish jaws. A powerful blow struck the back of his head where talons tore long, deep furrows in the flesh. The man fell from his fourwheeler, struggling, kicking, and punching where ever he could. But there wasn't a whole lot he could do with so many powerful animals on him.

By his own pure luck, the man spotted Ransom before it was too late. He was just raising his gun up to shoot when his arm was bitten, and the gun dropped. Defiance had gotten to him, and the man fell from the fourwheeler. It caused Ransom to miss his bite, which hit the shoulder instead. The man kicked at the wolves, and punched for Ransom's nose and eyes.

The fourth human was also in bad shape. He brought an arm up to defend his neck when Serena went for him again. Her jaws clamped around his limb, which he fought to pull away from her. But then his stomach was ripped into by Takua, and he fell from the ATV. Before he could try to get up, Twister had one of his legs. He kicked furiously, trying to nail the coyote in the muzzle and shake his leg free. But struggle as he did, three against one was a lost battle.

alayna

the tawny feline felt her fangs sink into the soft flesh of the man's shoulder, and she shook her head violently, hopefully dislocating the man's arm, making him more helpless. suddenly her jaws left his maimed arm, and went for his throat, her sharp-claws still digging into his torso.

Takua and others

Takua:The wolf tore into the stomach he ripped at the flesh. He growled and let go he walked up and took aim at the mans head he was going to kill him if it was the last thing he did. he was going to slip his jaws around the mans head and crush his skull killing him instantly.

Twister:The coyote held on for dear life.

Lewa: The wolf closed his eyes and hoped that everyone was ok.

Nenuz:The cougar began to regain consiousness and growled his head hurt and so did his neck but they would heal over time. He ran at the man Defiance and Ransom were fighting and leapt at him hoping to bite into the mans neck.

Ransom, Serena, Others

Ransom & Defiance:Ransom bit hard into the shoulder he had, thrashing his head back and forth violently, he snarled and hung on. Now pushing his claws into the man too he started to close his jaws as hard as he could trying to crush the bone. While he was doing this he began to jerk his head back also trying to dislocae his shoulder. Defiance hung on to the mans arm and began to sink his fangs in deeper. As the mans blood started to go into his mouth he smiled and started trying to crush the arm bone.

Serena & Jaden: Serena gotta hold of his arm and now wasn't going to let go. She began to start to try and crush it like Defiance. Her snarls were loud and the man could hear them perfectly. She began to jerk the arm around trying to tear deeper and make him in more pain. Jaden grabbed the guys side and felt the ribs in her jaws. Smiling she began to try and break them. Hissing and scratching at the man with her sharp claws.

Dream:Dream held onto the mans leg and didn't let go. She got nailed a few times by her guy but nothing serious.

Taggerung and Wrath

Taggerung:The wolf zoomed in on the human Takua was fighting. We will be back in a second stay low and keep close. Lets move Wrath. The wolf fake smiled he didn't want to fight but Wrath did so he would help him.

Wrath:The wolf howled. Lets go! He charged the man fighting Ransom Nenuz and Defiance. He leapt aiming for the mans chest.

*Humans*

The second man felt his arm tingle with a horrid, jagged pain as it was dislocated and bones splintered in his shoulder. His leg was mangled badly. Alayna shifted her bite, her fangs now digging in and crushing his throat. He struggled only briefly before the comined wounds and the damaging throat bite did him in. The man was dead.

The third man suffered much the same fate. A stunning pain shot through his arm as it was dislocated and chomped on. He kicked out and screamed at the top of his lungs, but his struggles were promptly cut short when both a cougar and a wolf struck him. His chest was torn deeply as the wolf bit into it. Then the final blow; the cougar's jaws found their deadly mark around his throat. In short time, this man was dead as well.

The forth man was the last to fall, but death was his fate. He tried to pull away, but Takua had suddenly got a hold of his head, near his temporal bone and the eye socket. 1500lbs of pressure per square inch closed down on those skull bones, splintering them at first before they crushed inward. At the same moment, Serena's teeth hit his throat. The man died quickly, leaving only the idle rumble of the ATVs.
