Ebony Sky

She sniffs the air testing it for rabbits after she pads in. She wanted to try to hunt something fast. Since she was a pup the grass easily shrouded her since it was so tall and long.

Fresca & Kasna

Both dogs weren't so long-legged as their adult cousin, the wolf. The tall grasses hid them for the most part, unless they were to lift their heads or tails.

Both of them let Ebony lead so she could get practice hunting.

Ebony Sky

She laughs playfully and runs on ahead. She catches the scent of a rabbit and quietly stalks closer her eyes searching to see where the rabbit or rabbits were.

Danger

:+:He crouches and slinks along after he group. His keen sense of smell caught the faintest scent of rabbit but he was unsure in which area it was in. Swiftly, he reaches a large bush. He stops and sits in the shade, following the moving grasses of Ebony, Fresca, and Kasna.:+:

Ebony Sky and -Rabbits-

She finally spotted a few rabbits spread out. She could tell for she could see the white flashes and movement through the grass. She begins to slowly creep up on the slowest rabbit and pounces. She lands directly on it and grabs its back but gets a powerful kick to the maw. She releases when she is kicked and the rabbit runs but she chases after it. The other rabbits scatter. 2 run towards Danger unknowingly and 3 in Kansa and Fresca's direction. Ebony speeds up determined to capture the rabbit. She didn't realize how far she had run from the others. It would be harder to find them but she wasn't worried for she was sure she could find them after she caught the rabbit.

Danger

:+:He powerfully swats the two rabbits with his paw. he grabs the largest quickly and breaks its neck. Quickly he killed the other one. His catch is deposited in the cover of the bushes before he slips after Ebony.:+:

Ebony Sky and -Rabbits-

The two rabbits instantly die in Dangers harsh bite.

The three rabbits continue to run towards Fresca and Kansa.

The rabbit kept getting further ahead of Ebony but bony wasn’t about to give up so she ran her fastest after the rabbit going even further away from everyone.

Danger

:+:Danger lengthens his stride to catch up to Ebony. He could barely see her now. If only he had followed her since the beginning. Ebony he whispers and speeds up.:+:

Fresca & Kasna

Kasna goes after one rabbit, and Fresca goes after another. While Fresca attempted to chase one rabbit in tightening circles; as rabbits tended to run in; she became aware that Ebony was suddenly out of sight. She was worried, but knew that Danger was in the area as well.

Kasna didn't chase his rabbit in circles, and instead tried to chase it in a straight line and overtake it. It wasn't long before his tongue was lolling out of his mouth and he was panting with the effort to catch the smaller prey. The malamute also realized that Ebony was out of sight and hearing from him. He wanted to go and search for her, but he was getting too tired, and knew that Danger and Fresca would find her long before he could.

Ninaki & Pirqua

Before the young wolf and falcon reached the field, Pirqua had taken to the air once more. To any canine, it would be impossible to tell that she was the falcon that hung around the Shadow Lurkers. She was too high in the sky. But she had the vision to see all those below her. Pirqua soon spotted the four canines in the tall grass. Even Ebony, who was mostly hidden by the grass, made the vegetation around her move, and thus gave her position away. The falcon also noted that Fresca and Kasna were far from Ebony, and that Danger was hardly within sight of the pup.

Pirqua dove from the sky and down into the thick grass where Ninaki had hidden himself. There, she told the young wolf where Ebony was, and who was with her.

Ninaki suddenly thought of something; a plan that would make it very easy to catch Ebony without risking injury to himself, Demon, or Skeil. So, he waited for the other two to come to the prairie. And in the meantime, Ninaki and Pirqua were far out of sight and scent of Danger, Ebony, Fresca, and Kasna.

Skeil

The pit bull padded into the prairie. Her short fur made it very easy for her to travel through the tall grass, and her shorter height made it much harder for her to be seen. Not knowing if Ebony was in the area, Skeil followed after Ninaki's trail and soon met up with him. She sat down and waited for Demon.

Danger

:+:Swiftly he followed Ebony, soon catching sight of her tail as it whisked out behind her as she ran. Ebony! he barks a bit louder. Without waiting for an answer, he lowered his head and pushed on after her. In a few moments he would be able to over-take her.:+:

Ebony Sky

She doesn't know of the danger and since Danger was almost out of earshot she didn't hear him well for she was focused on the rabbit more then being alert. The rabbit sprints threw some thorns bushes which would hurt most larger animals. Since Ebony was small she had easy ran through the bushes. She was getting very exhausted but kept running anyway. She ran closer to the lurkers not even realizing it. She was only a few yards away from them.

Demon

He smiles evilly and pads over to Skeil and Ninaki waiting to hear the plan that Ninaki had. He could scent Ebonh's aroma in the air. "Bingo." He snarls with delight. He smelt Dangers essence also but it was more distant that didn't worry him though

Ninaki

Ninaki looks from Skeil to Demon with a flicker of a grin played across his lean muzzle, "With this tall grass, I think Skeil can easily overtake the pup without being seen by the others. She is the shortest, and her short fur won't catch on any thorns like ours might." Ninaki lifts his head a moment, then turns back to the others. "You and I," he starts again, speaking to Demon, ",can distract Danger if catches up to Skeil or Ebony, and lead him in the opposite direction of where we are taking the pup. And if we can get him farther away from Fresca and Kasna, we can turn back and attack him. And the rest of the alley pack would be easy to pick off, if they try to follow us." The young wolf looks from Demon to Skeil, seeing if they approve of his plan. He suddenly picks up the scent of the pup, and his ears catch the faint sound of her paws thumping against the ground somewhere near them as she runs.

Skeil

Skeil listened intently, and her stubbed tail waived ever so slightly. Once Ninaki was finished speaking, the pit bull crept forward, and listened. She could hear Ebony then as the pup came nearer to them. With a single glance back at Demon and Ninaki, Skeil charged forward to where she heard the pup, and then followed her trail. Straining every muscle in her powerful body, the pit bull tried to overtake the pup and tackle her to the ground before her allies found out. She was careful not to actually hurt the pup badly.

Ebony Sky

She snaps at the rabbit grabbing its leg finally but is force to let it go when Skeil tackles her. She hit her head hard on the ground for she was running fast when she was hit. She shakes her head and looks up everything was a little blurry but she shakes it off. She is pinned to the ground by Skeil. She looks around and snarls but it isn't loud for Skeil had her pinned.

Demon

He smiles evilly and pads over to where Skeil was. So far Ninaki's plan was working. All Skeil had to do now was grab Ebony by the scruff and she was theirs for the taking. He waits for her to grab Ebony so they could split.

Skeil

The pit bull quickly latched her strong jaws around Ebony's scruff. With a heave, Skeil lifted the pup off the ground as far as she could and headed off for the Alleys.

Danger

:+:In an instant he was at Ebony's side, and rammed into Skeil. He could see and smell where Fresca and Kasna were. Danger turns. So they wanted to fight once again? Hadn't they had enough? Cranium is thrown back in song. The song is whisked away on the wind towards his pack lands where the rest of his pack waited. He turns and stands bodice close to the ground. There was only one way to get her but it risked passing Fresca and Kasna. What do you want? he snarls. Icy blue orcia scan them.:+:

Demon

He jumped in front of Danger as he came up and took the ram. He stumbled but stood. He snarled. At least Skeil had gotten away with Ebony. Ninaki had probably left already also so he sprints out to the alleys. If Danger followed he wouldn't be treated kindly.

Ebony Sky

She howls to Fresca Kansa and Danger and watches as she is being carried out. She snarls at Skeil but she couldn't turn and bite in her position. Soon she was out of sight and gone. Probably already in the alleys.
