Spitfire

The large pure ebony timber wolf stalked through the tall grass of differently colored blades. He stood out as his frame moved and wandered freely. His eerie yellow eyes looked off to each side. He snorted and stopped. He shook his head and started running, not looking back. He ran to a tall and skinny oak tree, and plopped underneath it, lazily. He hadn't had very much sleep at all. His eyes seemed to droop like they never had before. His fluffed tail stopped moving and he quickly fell asleep, still clearly visable laying there.

Aaka

Aaka silently padded to the male. Her eyes were cast downwards. She didnt even realized she had come up upon someone until she tripped over him. Letting out a snarl as she fell. She stood up quickly tearing her injured shoulder open again. Mutter obescenities under her breath she didnt bother to apologize. Instead she was interested by the male....Someone new....She hadnt eaten or slept in days. Her vision kept going in and out....

Spitfire

A loud snarl emitted from his maw as he quickly stood up, breathing rough and and body still and tense. He turned his cold yellow eyes to the wolf that had tripped over him. He started taking on the meanings of his name: Highly emotional and quick-tempered. When he seen the wolf, he slightly stopped snarling, but growls continued emitting from deep in his throat. His head shook angrily, and now his side slightly hurt from her tripping over him.
His eyes rolled around, searching for anyone else that would be with her. He ruffled up his ebony pelt.
"Who are you?"
His voice was low and grumbly, tail stiff is this wolf meant any harm. He didn't always take things lightly. He was probably one of the evilest wolves around... He just tried not to push it to the limit. He stood waiting for her reply.

Aaka

Aaka watched him with amusement. He thought he could scare her? He was doing a poor job. A very poor job indeed. The Shadows were already doing that job for her.
"My name is Aaka. And you are?"

She didnt bother saying that she was an alpha. He didnt need to know that. Her name meant Shadow....And thats what she truly was. A shadow.

Avalon & Pack

Avalon and his pack called the "Hidden Shadows" silently trotted along after an attack at the dump. Behind him trotted his pack. Xena, his mate, walked along side him, starting to growl at this other white wolf. She herself was very light gray. Her eyes glared unblinkingly at the wolf who stood near Spitfire. Her tail raised as she passed him, eyes still fixed on Aaka.
Avalon's tail was held regularly low to the ground, and also idle as he walked towards Spitfire. He would soon have to find himself a pack. He wasn't very satisfied at him, he was still free. With a muffled voice, he barked out: "Haven't you found a decent place yet!?" Then he turned to Aaka. He didn't seem to enjoy this wolf very much, but he would get to know others in time. "And who are you?" He had gotten there shortly after Aaka gave her name, so he didn't at all hear. He sat on his haunches near Spitfire.

Nakita, Polo, Voltaire, Apache, Bandito, Iditaro, Verona, Acacia, and Celestria quietly but quickly moved behind him, and they hid behind some close bushes and large trees so they couldn't be seen. This was for if the Aaka meant harm or threat. If so, she would have to deal with all of them, and even though Acacia was more husky than wolf, she could still fight well with other wolves bigger than her, assuming the wolf is bigger than her.

Acacia licked her chops as she looked to the others. They were all quietly sitting, snug in their places as they waited for their leaders to signal to come out. Celestria patiently waited beside her sister. Her small tail stiff and her head slightly cocked. They waited and wondered what would happen.

Spitfire

He turned his head when Avalon approached. He snarled and swiped Xena in the face. How he hated her! She always thought she was the best wolf in the valley. So much for her though. Even though she just had pups, he would still act like he was the best, to get back at her. He knew she wasn't always like this, but he hated it when she was.

He brushed his big bushy black tail under her chin and he started to walk away towards Avalon. He stopped nearby and stared staight into his eyes. It wasn't proper to do that to an alpha, it was almost like saying "challenge me". He, however, wasn't in the mood for a whole bunch of wolves frolicing around him. He wasn't one for the so called 'pack life'. "You are looking good. And no, I haven't joined a 'pack'. Who needs them? Just more wolves hanging around you like chickens with their heads cut off. face it, pakcs can get into bigger messes than lone wolves. I prefer the lone life. Don't try to change my decision. ONLY when a true alpha asks, will I join if wanted." He quickly brushed Avalon's chin with his tail and quickly glared at him again, with his eerie yellow eyes. With a flick of his tail, he swayed off into the distance.

Aaka

Aaka laughed softly at Spitfires reaction. She liked him. "Whats it matter to you? I havent done anything to you or your pack. Although that reminds me.....I have to go check on my pack. Theres to many wolves here for my liking any way...." Aaka had a problem with large groups. She really didnt like large groups. She was tense and growled softly. She didnt like being here at all.

Hidden in these Shadows...A shadow waits in silence

Avalon & Pack

Avalon nodded. He looked off to Spitfire as he disapeared. What a naughty thing he was. Growls emitted when he turned back to Aaka. "We shall be gone then. If you have a pack, the one thing you need to learn is to live with others. If not, bah!" He turned his head to the trees and underbrush where his pack was hidden. He looked to Xena and howled. She got up and started running out of the Tall Grass Prairie, not looking back. She was heading back to the Wolf Center, now known as the Hidden Shadows territory. She needed to tend to her pups. How small and helpless they were now.

Avalon looked to the trees and bushes as each of his pack's members started just pouring out. He nodded looked to Aaka again. "We will be getting back to our terra, where the Wolf Center is."
He turned and started running after his mate. He wasn't trying to be 'all that'. He was acting the way he usually did. An alpha needed to be the smartest anyway.

Polo, Iditaro, and Verona stumbled over each other as they hurried to keep up with their alphas. Apache, Bandito, Voltaire, Nakita, Acacia, and Celestria walked side-by-side at the regular pace. They were chatting to each other noisily. Their tails wagged behind them as they disapeared. Celestria, with her small pup body, looked behind at Aaka and where Spitfire had disapeared. She sighed. The world was so not what it should have turned out to be. Her tail then stayed idle as they then dispeared.
