Razorblade

There was very few things that Razorblade would not do for the pack that took him in. He hadn't been there for them when these bad boys came in and caused havoc among the group that had just been out for a sunday stroll. A sharp howl pierced the air as the son of Saydin and Kahvi raised his head to let the pack know that he was here. He was going to take down at least one of these bastards and he was going to go down in flames. He traveled deeper and deeper, waiting until somebody found him.

Silverdawn

Few of the big cats wanted to play, not when they were all still waiting for a possible counter assault by the Lurkers or their allies for the ambush at the Canyon that left Taros slain. Bored and mischievous, the grizzled gray wolfdog slipped out of the borders of the basin and began to sniff about along the slopes. Hailing as a descendant of Vicious, Silver was bound to be a big boy, and already his long, lanky frame was starting to fill out with muscle that would one day take him to an impressive 150 pounds of strength. Yet for now, not even a year old, the adolescent was far from his adult strength, and was far more interested in scoping out what interesting things he could find, rather than paying attention to the the fact that another canine was approaching... until he heard the howl.

Silverdawn's head shot up and his fur started to raise. That wasn't a voice that he was familiar with, and unless he was mistaken, it sure didn't sound friendly.

Rune

She'd been following the assault band back from their attack at the Canyon, after picking up on the strong mixed scents of the packs after her and Symphony had been hunting around that area. Keeping out of sight, they had seen Bandit slay Taros, seen Kane slip into death from his injuries, and seen Malacath left to his death by the Nuova Alba. They had then followed them back to the Basin, and were just in time to catch Razorblade on his solo revenge mission. With their allies busy, Rune signalled to Sym to cut off Razorblade. They would handle him themselves, and if she wasn't mistaken, one of the Nuova Alba was around too. Maybe he would join in the fun?

Cackling, Rune jumped down from one of the higher slopes to cut off Razorblade and halt his advance. "Where do you think you're going, Razorblade?" She hissed. Unhinged, Rune was just as unpredictable as she always had been. This would just be revenge for betraying them. She was small, but as Saydin showed, size didn't matter, when you had no conscience.

Symphony smiled at her friend, just as insane as she, and pounced lightly in front of Razorblade. She giggled, her eyes alight with... Whatever song was going through the females head.Pale blue eyes stared at Razorblade and she giggled again. Your gonna get it, Razorblade. Rune's gonna get you good

The silver wolf hybrid watched Symphony with a look that spoke volumes. He really didn't care that she was there. But seeing Rune, his hackles raised a bit. Symphony he could deal with. She had never been in a -real- fight before. He could easily take her. Rune though.... Rune knew her way around a fight. Immediatly his head tucked a bit to cover his throat. He wasn't stupid. Anywhere I want to go, Rune. It is a free country, is it not? He growled low and quiet. He could scent another male in the area. He was going to kill one of these little bastards. At least one.

Rune

Free country? A high, piercing laugh ricocheted round the ledges, as Rune listened to his pathetic reasoning. However, the laughter did not reach her eyes. "Not for traitors like you, Razorblade. Aunt Saydin was not happy with your disappearance. Not happy at -all-." She seemed to revel in these words, her small but taunt muscles rippling as she shifted forward aggressively, an untameable fire smouldering in her wild eyes. A sideways glance was given to Symphony, to signal they would attack on Rune's command. Yes, Sym hadn't been in a real fight, but that did not matter. Rune would be sure to see the end of Saydin's trecherous son before he took anyone from her. Perhaps even this male from the Nuova Alba would take a chunk out of this tainted creature, and show the Lurkers once and for all the war was far from over.

Silverdawn

As the silvery-gray brute stood their listening, his ears picked up more movement, and finally he spotted the source of it all. Not far off, he saw Rune and Symphony spring down from a higher cropping of rocks, and... was that another wolf they were speaking to? Curious and wary all the same, Silverdawn dropped his head and moved forward at a slow, cautious pace, trying to keep himself hidden and out of sight, despite the fact that his scent had already given him away.

'Aunt Saydin was not happy with your disappearance...' Those words alone told him that Rune must be part of their ally's pack, right? They were the good guys, which meant... this other wolf was the bad one. And if scent told the adolescent correctly, Razorblade carried the same scent that had come back on Bandit and the others after their assault at the Canyon. Silverdawn pieced these things together in his head, since he'd been too young up until now to go out and see for himself who was the enemy and who were their allies. With bravery building up in him, the young wolf moved out of hiding and stood prominently where all could see him. "What have we got here?" He huffed, trying to sound important, and as if he knew precisely what was going on. If he could take a hand in dealing with this enemy, oh, what would the others back at the Basin thing of him then! He'd be a hero!

S.ymphony

Symphony watched Rune nervously, nearly yipping like a puppy. It wasn't exactly her fault. She was just so uncertain, and Rune was like the sister that she always wanted and never had. She went behind Razorblade, nipping at his heels. The grey male merely growled, but he never took his attention off of Rune. He was more afraid of her then of Rune and the new male combined. What do we get to do to him, Runey? The mildly psychotic female asked, still circling. Hard to control, but mildly amusing to say the least.

The male growled low and quiet, his tail held high over his back. Saydin is wrong, Rune. She's controlling you. Don't you see it? He was waiting. He wanted Rune to attack first, but at the same time, he wanted to go after that male, Silverdawn. He was one of them and it would be easy to kill the little bastard. So easy.

Rune

Silverdawn’s appearance did not draw Rune's sights from her prey. The wolfess simply swivelled an ear round in his direction, and although she did not face him, her voice was obviously directed at him. "We're confronting a traitor to our pack, dear ally. Perhaps you would care to join us?" While all pleasantries were given to her ally, Rune's eyes were nothing but hostile to Razorblade. A sickly drawl was what answered Sym's question, as her head dipped in the signal to attack. "We are going to tear him apart..." And with a laugh that could shake the bones of Cerberus, Rune began her advance on Razorblade. But she did not strike him. Instead, she moved like a hypnotic snake, what appeared to be comfort and warmth in her eyes. Without moving her intense stare, she approached him like a mate would do, but stopped short. "...or he could return home with us. Where he belongs. You know the Lurkers hate you, cousin, they want you gone. But we want you back, Razorblade. You're losing sight of the big picture, sweety, what we're working for. A valley where our family can exist without enemies like the Lurkers causing chaos. You know they whisper behind your back, plot against you, against us." Her eyes told Sym and Silverdawn to hold their attacks, but she did not plan to keep them retrained for long. It was to torment Razorblade. Torment him into losing sight of his loyalties before they ripped him apart...

Silverdawn

This was a time for serious business and a likewise attitude, but the young male couldn't stop the twitch in his tail that wanted to become a wagging motion. He'd never really fought before, unless mock battles against the other youngsters counted, and thus he felt more thrilled than he did wary and cautious, as he probably should have felt. "Yeah, lets teach this traitor a lesson!" Silver chimed in with sinister enthusiasm, and bounded forward after Rune, only to stop short when he realized her rush was only a mock attack. Silver skidded to a halt and looked between Rune and Symphony, still trying to act like he knew what was going on, and all the while come across as buff and unafraid. "She's right, you know. We don't take kindly to traitors; they're worse then enemies!"

R.azorblade

Razorblade's eyes didn't follow Sym or Silver. They stayed close to the real threat here. Rune. He was confident in his abilities to take down at least Silver, maybe Sym.... But Rune... Rune was another story altogether. Silver was young, ignorant... Sym had insanity working against her. But there was nothing wrong with Rune other then pure rage. She loved hurting others. Even if they do plot against me, Rune... At least they don't expect the world to be over taken by darkness. They don't tear apart entire packs just for the fun of it. His voice was soft. He felt Sym suddenly nip at his heels causing a low soft growl. Three against one though... That's just like you Rune. You couldn't ever take someone down all by yourself. You always did need another to do the dirty work for you.
