Tyrant & Others
Tyrant who was now 11 months old and pretty damn big. He had the body of the Siberian tiger and he looked mostly like a tiger except his tail which was a Snow leopards tail. He was a bold Blue grey in color with bold Black stripes. He may not be full grown yet but he was getting there. He still wasn't happy about having been kidnapped sooo many months ago. He missed his mother and his siblings. With so many of his kidnappers around however he didn't dare make a get away. He was currently sitting inside the cave on one of the highest perches he could fit on. His tail flicking and his mouth open as he panted and glared around. He finally laid down as he continued to watch the others.
Madusa the Teruveran Shepherd, Gray Wolf, Arctic Wolf, Siberian Husky 11 month old pup who was now full grown was optimistic really. She was pure white and her fur was as Dense as the arctic wolf. She was obviously made for running and took on the husky form more then any of the others. She glanced at Tyrant ,oH come on Tyrant it isn't that bad here really She spoke softly.
Nemu glanced at her Nephew which she still felt bad about taking but said nothing as she sat there watching her 6 month old cubs play. She felt bad about betraying Senka but she would rather stay with her sister then her half sister. She sighed and laid her head to rest on her paws.
Zuko Nemu son was tan like her but with Jaquar spots. He weighed already 100 lbs,He would weigh 600 when full grown. His build was obviousl siberian tiger however , a brown mane was forming on his head like the lion.
Katara Zuko sister weighed currenly only 85 lbs but would reach 350lbs when full grown. She resembled her father a Jaquar but larger. She pounced on her mothers tail.
Azula was an orangish color with the build of a lion. She has both stripes and Spots and was about 130 lbs currently and would max out at 500. She tackled her brother.
Influenza who had only been 3 months when she got here with her family was now a year old and full grown. She sat at the entrance with her head on her paws. Her tail flicking boredly.
Layra was 6 months old now. She weighted 90 lbs and was a rare white with blue eyes lion cub. She prawled around looking for a mouse she had been chasing. She was the proud daughter of Martimoor & Paranoia.
paranoia sat near her cubs and yawned.
Little Tuft & Others
There were always plenty of watchful eyes around to keep the growing cubs in line, and it wasn't just the females taking the time to look out for the younger members. Little Tuft was very tolerant of them, and since he was too crippled to fight, the sparse-maned lion spent most of his time either looking out for danger, or telling stories to the cubs. At this moment, he was looking up at where Tyrant was perched, "She's right, Ty. Before long, you'll be big enough to join the adults in hunting practices." Tuft had noticed the way that the male remained restless and dour since his capture, and that worried him a great deal. If that attitude wasn't curbed, there was a good chance that Tyrant would either break away from the Nuova pack, or be assassinated if either of their two leaders thought he was too troublesome.
"Wat'cha doing, Lyra?" During the heat of the day, even in the mostly shaded cover of the Basin, most of the adults were lounging around and waiting for night. And like any good youngster, Arocheae was up and running about, always finding something to keep her occupied. The little canine was perhaps one of the smallest in the group, with an adult weight that would be no greater than fifty pounds - but she was nimble and gifted in other ways, and as friendly as could be. "Did you find something?"
Tyrant
Tyrant heard the words from both and his eyes focused on the lion. Like I care? My mother has done nothing wrong and she didn't deserve such a traitor of a sister! Your group is nothing but low life kidnappers He spoke. He stood up now and started pacing to and fro on the boulder. My family will find me and take me home and you will be sorry He spoke calmly. He wasn't scared of the group what so ever.
Layra stared into the corner where she was pretty damn sure that little mouse had run into when her ears flickered to the canine. I found a mouse! Though he go bye bye She spoke softly and pawed at the hole.
Little Tuft & Others
If Velvet or any number of the less forgiving adults had heard Tyrant speaking like this, he may have gotten something of a punishment for his disrespectful behavior. But Little Tuft was quiet, resigned, and oddly laid back for an African lion, and was more interested in seeing the young ones grow up strong and healthy. "Before you speak bad of us, you should know that the Haunters themselves are far from perfect. They are a withering husk of what they'd started out as. They've lost their way in the Valley, they've grown weak, and will eventually fall. Your mother is a good creature, but she is in with the wrong crowd, and your aunt knew that - we took you to spare you the slow decline and downfall that the rest of the Haunters will face."
Arochaea hopped atop a rock near Layra, cocking her head as she looked down at the area where her friend was pawing at. "I bet if we wait a little bit, it'll run out again." The adolescent wagged her tail at the prospect of hunting, even if it was a tiny mouse, and one that probably wasn't foolish enough to run out of its hiding spot. "Man, I can't wait to go hunting with the adults! I wish they'd just take us with them."
Tyrant
He listened but continued his pacing. He wasn't sure if he should believe him or not. Either way he rather be with his mother and siblings. Even if that is true, you took us away when we could of helped my mother and greyfell! You kidnapped us! It makes no difference in your intention. You may consider the Haunters, my family weak but we are anything but He growled and sat down finally. His tail flicked.
Nemu was getting tired of her nephew and well she finally come out of the guilt shell. She leaped at him and tackled him to the ground. You know nothing of the haunters nephew! You were but a cub and they weren't filling you in on anything yet. They aren't as good as you seem to think they are!She growled at him. After that she let him up and moved away.
Layra listened and then backed away.Yah I want to go hunting too! She growled playfully.
Little Tuft & Others
"We saved you." The lion asserted calmly, but with an inflection of certainty in his voice. ",B>You are a strong-willed, brave young cat, and you'll do great things when you're older. Had we left you with the Haunters, you would have only died, and your great potential been wasted." For not being a front line warrior himself, the crippled Little Tuft was very secure in the knowledge that the Shadow Haunters would meet defeat sometime soon, where he would be there to witness it. "Look around you, at the others who we saved - do you see any of them carrying on the way you are? No, because they understand they're in a better place here. The sooner you realize that and accept it, the happier you'll be." When Nemu leaped into action and tackled her nephew, Tuft didn't say a word about it, but he watched the young hybrid carefully for his reaction.
Arocheae pounced at the rocks where the mouse had taken refuge in, but no matter how much she nosed about and paws at the stones, she couldn't unearth the little rodent. Her rounded white ears went back momentarily in frustration before she turned around and faced Layra again, tail wagging, "Hey... maybe we can go hunting on our own? We can sneak out past the adults!"
Tyrant
He growled at his aunt but nothing more. He just laid there even after she left. His tail flicked. we shoulda had a choice! We have our own will and just cause they were easily brainwashed don't mean a thing He growled finally sitting up as if nothing had happened. His tail flicked again. I won't let you or your pack kill my mother or any other haunter they are my family. Would you sit back and watch a pack try and kill yours? He growled his eyes narrowed.
Layra looked up at her and grinned.Yes yes!She spoke ..Lets dooo it!!!!! She giggled.
Little Tuft & Others
The more that Little Tuft heard from Tyrant, the more worried he became for the male's longevity in this pack. Still, he tried to get through the the brute, and continued to speak with the calm tenure that tended to mark most of his words. "That's just it, Tyrant. Back there, with the Haunters, you were the one that was brainwashed. They are little more than mindless zombies doting after leaders who fail to see how their actions are going to bring their clan to ruin." The near mane-less lion shifted his position, rolling onto his side even as he spoke, to alleviate tension on his bad hind leg. "This is your family now. We can try to save your mother if Bandit and Velvet decree it, but the others... they are no longer your family."
None of the heated discussion going on between Tyrant and Little Tuft was registered by Arocheae, who was too caught up in the excitement of a possible hunt to pay any heed to the others. "Okay, follow me!" She stepped off of the rock she'd been perched on, and again lowered her voice to a secretive whisper, "We've gotta be quiet - and hurry!" The little canine darted towards one of the smaller exits, hoping to make it without any of the adults seeing her.
Tyrant
He growled at him glaring now. My mother is a great second in command and Greyfell he is the best thing that ever happened to the haunters! He growled and hissed. This is not my family! I was born into the Shadow Haunters , they are my family! Save my mother! Yah right! She wouldn't abide by your rules, She would not fall under their command! She like I am a proud Haunter! We will not fall. I die you'll just give my mother more insentive to have YOUR family destroyed! He jumped down from his perch now.
Nemu stood up as soon as Tyrant landed and placed herself in between the two.Enough! the Shadow Haunters have lost their way Tyrant! They've lost their purpose in life! Don't do this! I love my sister I do but she has lost her way as well She growled and ended up turning her face as he scratched her face leaving a scratch over her eye.
Layra glanced around and then quickly followed after her.
Little Tuft & Others
Little Tuft had tried to keep the discussion quiet, but to no avail as Tyrant's indignant furry only escalated and drew more attention to them than Tuft would have liked. Then things went from bad to worse as the younger feline leaped down from his rocky perch placing him much closer to the other lion. Tuft reacted by narrowing his eyes slightly and giving his tail a quick, violent flick - visual warnings for Tyrant to back off. "Tyrant, you need to calm down and think about what you're saying..." The male finally stood up himself, ready to defend himself and put Tyrant in his place. Crippled or not, he was still relatively young and had plenty of fight in him, even if he preferred to handle situations with words rather than violence.
Unfortunately for Tyrant, Martimoor was the opposite. The brawny brother of Tuft generally didn't get involved with the pride politics, unless it happened to be a personal issue. Seeing Tyrant approach his brother so directly, Mart was quickly to get up and pad his way, with a death glare in his bright eyes, "You'd best stand down, Tyrant, before I make you." And he meant it too; his muscles were bunched, and his mouth was slightly agape. As part of the Coalition, fighting was his primary role in the pride, and he took any threat to his family seriously.
Tyrant
He glared now at the three before him. His own tail flicking side to side. He growled and bared his teeth but even at this young age he wasn't stupid. He flicked his tail, licked his aunt's face to clean some of the blood before turning and jumping on his little perch from before. I'll never be one of you, I will not associate with kidnappers for any reason He spoke turning his back on them and laying his head down on his paws. However one ear was back just in case any of them decided to attack him. He would find a way home.
Nemu stood between them as she listened to all of them and let out a soft sigh when Tyrant backed off. She did feel his tongue but ignored it. Her eye shut.
Little Tuft & Others
Martimoor was not going to stand for this sort of insubordination. Tuft watched as the larger lion's shoulders bunched and his claws tensed against the ground, "Marti, just give him some space, maybe he just needs time to..." Martimoor silenced his brother with a pointed, unblinking stare, a wordless message for Tuft that he was no longer involved in this conflict. Wisely, the crippled feline backed off while Martimoor proceeded onward, launching his body into the air, going straight for Tyrant. There was no intention to seriously hurt or kill the other, but he was going to teach him some manners in the only way he knew how, and that was by showing Tyrant who he needed to respect and not talk back to.
Tyrant
Tyrant heard them and at first didn't respond but as Martimoor closed in He sprung up and around to face the older male and he met him head on. He would defend himself. His teeth aimed to bite the older males shoulder. His tail flicked.
Nemu watched knowing she couldn't interfer. She soon turned away and stalked off a ways.
