Niavo

The hybrid had recently heard from his betas, and knew they were to return shortly. Unfortunately, they had come up empty-pawed as far as food went. That, and it seemed that their pups may have come into harm's way while they were being watch by Ankh's blood pack. Cavan had left as well, to join a fierce new pack at the Ruins.

Niavo didn't mind though; he had Ankh and Snowy Owl, as well as their pups. A nice sized little pack, although a few more wouldn't hurt...

Keeping a watchout for humans, the alpha patrolled around his domain, looking for potential members, food, danger, or intruders.

*Humans*

A large, dingy-white truck pulled slowly towards the curb, trailing after Niavo as he passed by a sidewalk. A woman leaned her arm out of the window, holding a dog buiscut in her hand, "I've got a nice treat... come one now, come closer..." She cooed, clicking her tounge now and then in hopes of enticing Niavo closer to her.

Niavo

The black hybrid stopped, offering the woman a less than amused look as she reached her hand from the vehicle. A twitching nose was the only interest showed to the bland biscuit she carried before he looked away and continued to pad along down the sidewalk, picking up his pace slightly. She could have a juicy steak in her hand, and Niavo still wouldn't go near her. He had learned street smarts by now, and always regarded humans with an aloof disregaurd. Some could be helpful, but it was not worth the risk to trust any of them, as far as he was concerned.

*Humans*

The van tolled after Niavo, keeping a steady pace so as not to loose sight of the hybrid, "Here boy, come on." She coaxed further, waving the tidbit in the air. She was determined to capture this male.

Aaka

The white alphess perked her auds when she heard Niavo padding along. Halting her search for her daughter she peered out after the male when the truck came in sight. A sly grin passed over Aaka's maw and she whimpered and limped from behind a dumpster. She was thin, but that was the way of Aaka. Her limp was half fake, an injury she had sustained a couple hours ago but wasn't to bad. The wanted wolfess stared at the woman with big trusting yellow eyes, but beneath them demons cackled and danced. A game this was to the Aaka. This was to be a fun little game.

Niavo

Niavo was picking up speed now when the footfalls of another came to his attention. He stopped, turning with surprise to see Aaka. And right away, he could see what she was up too. "Careful, Aaka." He whispered, before ducking back behind a house and slipping into some dense bushes. He would hide there and watch, making sure that the white alphess didn't get herself caught. He didn't want to be known by the humans, but he'd do what was needed to protect his friend.

*Humans*

The van came to a hault as Niavo disappeared into some bushes. With all intentions of capturing him, the woman got out of the van and headed across the yard. But before she even got half way there, Aaka had caught her attention. Seemingly an easier target than Niavo was providing, the woman changed targets. "Here now, come this way, I've got a treat for you..." She said, wiggling the biscuit in front of her, while holding the noose pole to the side.

Aaka

Her eyes lit up at Niavo's comment but when the human wiggled the biscuit in her face she grinned menacingly. She came a step forth, Just out of pole range when suddenly the quiet docile wolf was gone and new, vicious killer took its place. Aaka leaped forth, jaws open wide aiming to take hold of the womans throat and to over power her with strength and force. She knew Niavo was lurking in the brush so if things got sticky he could help her out.

*Humans*

The woman, despite her relative experience with canines, was decieved by Aaka's cunning actions. She leaned down more, speaking still to the wolf when her demeanor suddenly shifted. In a flash, the alpha had done a 180 and was now at her throat. The woman gave a gurgled cry as she fell backwards, the treat and noosepole flying from her grasp. Instinctively, she shoved her hands at Aaka, trying to push the wolf off...

Aaka

As her hold caught she clamped down with all her might. She could taste the womans blood and against the her throat the alphess laughed. It sounded like a growl to the woman's human ears, but Niavo would know. As the woman tried to push her, even more force was applied and she shoved her muzzle down pushing further on her throat to cut off her wind pipe. Her claws dug into womans chest and she slashed at the womans throat as well. Death shall come to her.

*Humans*

The woman fought back, tying to shove Aaka away, but her efforts were in vain. Against the wolf's jaws, the two-legger had not chance. Blood pooled quickly on the ground, seeping out from between Aaka's clamped teeth when the jugular veins were torn through. In seconds, she was dead.

Just then, shots rang out! The man in the vehicle had been watching for Niavo when his partner got attacked. Seeing that she was beyond help, he pulled out his hand gun, reached across the passenger side window, and began to shoot at the white wolf.

Ankh

Having hidden his son safely away at the Dump, Ankh arrived in time to witness the events. Coming from the opposite side of the van, the small black hybrid picked up speed as he rocketed towards the man. Then, with an acurate leap, he plunged off the ground and sailed straight for the driver's window, intending on barrelling into the man. His teeth went right for the gun-wielding arm...

Aaka

She released the woman once she was certain that her victim was dead. She took a step back which saved her from getting hit once.....The second time however she wasn't so lucky. The bullet had whizzed past her and hit the brick wall and ricocheted hitting the female in the hind leg. With a scream of pain she jerked backwards, and a snarl of rage escaped her. She turned and ran as fast as she could on three legs to aid Ankh, coming around the side of the truck she jumped up and grabbed for the mans shoulder, the same on that Ankh was attacking.

Snowy Owl & Honthale

The white hybrid shot across the street, coming from the same direction as Ankh. With two canines in the front seats, plus a human, there wasn't any room for her. Instead, she circled the van, snarling and watching intently to the action going on within.

Behind her, Honthale watched the action with great interest. He had a burning desire to leap into the fray and help his father and the other wolf, but he was still too small to be able to jump into the window; much less do much harm to the man.

Niavo

When the shots were fired, Niavo tore out from the bushes, streaking from the yard and leaping over a low fence, as if he were running away. Then, he arched his path and came right back for the van. Like Honthale and Snowy Owl, there wasn't much room for him to get involved. However, he leapt up onto the hood of the van and stood there, looking sternly into the cab to see what was going on. His hackles and tail were up, but he didn't anticipate tasting blood today. Which was just as well, for he could keep a lookout for other humans.

*Human*

The man was fumbling to load more ammo in his gun when Ankh struck. Just before he pulled the trigger at the approaching Aaka, his arm was seized and pulled back, sending a shot piercing through the front windshield, shattering the old-style glass and very nearly stricking Niavo. A second panic-shot was sent off, this one flying up through the roof before the gun was dropped from his arm. The little hybrid had broken both his lower arm bones.

By this time, Aaka had sailed through the passenger side window and locked onto the man's shoulder. With a scream to hurt any canine's ears, the man tried to beat at the two canines with his other hand... but there wasn't much room to do a whole lot.

Aaka

A demonic snarl was released from her petite maw as one of the mans blows caused her to hit her injured leg on the truck. She used her claws now, to dig hard into his face as her fangs sank deeper into his shoulder. She shook her mighty dial, trying to dislocate it and give her a chance to grab his throat. A new tactic came to mind. She quit her moving and began to knead her teeth back and forth, coming closer and closer with each knead to his neck. Death shall come to him.

*Human*

The man's screams were defeaning in the confined area of the cab, and his struggles grew in intensity. He even went so far as to try and bite either one of them. But ultimately, he demise was brought about by Aaka as she worked her fangs up towards his neck. It wasn't long before the struck one of the many critical blood ways, leading to his quick death.
