Ankh
His shoulder was still dreadfully painful, but he was regaining some mobility in it. Not near enough to really walk on, much less run, but it was getting a touch better as the days wore on. His wounds were healing as well, and thankfully, they somehow managed to escape severe infection. He was cautious to keep clean and away from filth during the healing after the fight, and so far, it was paying off.
As clean as he stayed and as much as he rested, it was still going to be a long road to full health, especially with his shoulder still dislocated. Keeping most of his weight off the limb, the small hybrid limped to the back of a new restuaraunt, sniffing intently at the mouth-watering aromas that drifted from a vent below one of the windows. It smelled of fish, mainly, but also beef, breads, and all sorts of other tantalizing things. Licking his lips, Ankh hovered about the trash cans, nudging each one to find the one that was the fullest. Unable and unwilling to jump against it, Ankh heaved his good shoulder against the object, trying to push it off balance so it'd crash to the ground.
*Human*
The can teetered before crashing to the ground, causing several trashbags to spill out. But before Ankh had time to tear into the bags, the back door flew open and an older man came storming out with a crobar in hand, "Filthy, mutt! I'll teach ya to mess around here!" The man raged, heading towards Ankh with his weapon raised...
Ankh
Ankh snarled hastily at the man, taking a step back from the food that was so very tempting. Unable to run from his attacker, the hybrid began to back up against the wall of the next building while his eyes shifted from the angry man to the exit. "Stupid human, you'd better back off!" Ankh warned, lowering his head, pinning his ears back, and brandishing a row of glistening ivories at the two legger. "Don't come any closer!" He wanted to run, but knew he'd probably get a good strike before he could get clear of the man, and Ankh didn't want that at all. He knew just how much damage a crobar could do, after seeing it used in the past.
Niavo
Niavo had been searching the area for Ankh, and now found his scent and an earful of angry human noises. Moving quick, the hybrid's pace brought him quickly upon the scene, where Ankh was in for some serious trouble. "Hey, human!" Niavo barked out, looking intently upon the man, "Want some of this?" He began to spring about, clacking his jaws and baring his fangs in a threatening manner. "Ankh, make a run for it when you get the chance!"
