Hydras, Skeil, & Mesa

Hydras came into the area, taking the lesser traveled back roads as she did, and staying in the back of the larger buildings. After all the commotion with howling and such at the Alleys, Hydras decided it was time to move out for a brief time so that the humans wouldn't get riled, as they so easily did.

Skeil padded up along side of Hydras and sat back on her white haunches. Her large, dark eyes looked about at the surroundings. They were in a vacant lot between two old, mostly abandonded buildings. Cluttered piles of junk offered some privacy from the humans. And three different alleyways made for easy escape incase the two-leggers tried to make trouble.

Mesa landed on the top of the four story building that boardered part of the lot. She took to preening her feathers while also keep a watchout for danger.

Sequioa

The odd hybrid stalked after them eyes dark her anger at everyone unknown. Dhe stared at all the new comers and shook her head. She jumped onto a milk crate and watched as the others arrived one by one. She shook her whole body balancing carefully as she did so.

Sasha limped in next and she sat near Ninaki offering him support. She knew he was grieving for the loss of his mate and she nudged him gently. "Please dont look like that." Her words were soft and she didnt know how to treat the hybrids depression. Sequioa had been easy to make feel better....Once you got to know her. She knew nothing of her pack exept Bullet and even that was very little. She didnt know likes and dislikes but she did know that this was the only home available for her.

Fly bounced in and skidded to a halt next to Kenyon. He nipped at the larger dog and wagged his tail giving a greeting to everyone. Kenyon was his best friend out of all of them considering his sister wouldnt even come within ten feet of FLy.

Shadows are dancing on the wall come find us and watch us Fall

Aaka arrived next. She had heard word that Fresca was back. She wasnt certain but she believed that Fresca was the one who had owned Sedge Creek before her sister Moon Spirit had fought and won with the Shadow Lurkers help. She to watched the gathering assessing new comers with a glance and once over. Weak and strong She thought to herself as she saw Fallen and Risen. She knew Risen fairly and wasnt her greatest friend for the female didnt like Hidden Betrayal but that was understandable. Hidden could be a handful. She turned to White Noise and sadness clouded her eyes for a moment but was quickly replaced by a blank look. She nodded towards him then looked at Hydras expectantly.

Ninaki & Kenyon

Ninaki pulled himself into alertness and looked slowly to Sasha. A slight smile crowned his brownish muzzle, but it was a fleeting gesture. "I'm sorry, I don't mean to make others sad." The beta admitted, his eyes narrowing sadly for a moment as they turned to gaze out into the distance, "After we lost Skeil's mate and my sister... I swore not to let anyone else die in a fight." He gave almost a miserable laugh, but tried to sound as cheerful as he possibly could, "I guess we can't control fate, huh?"

Kenyon laughed and nipped Fly back, but was careful because of his large size; he certainly didn't want to hurt anyone! "I don't know about you, but I'm not looking forward to any fighting." Kenyon snorted, wrinkling up his nose. "I'd rather explore or something, you know?"

White Noise

the hunter of onyx moved in his skull level with his chassis and he settled down on his hunches amongst the gathering pack. He caught the entrance of Aaka and caught her nod not seeing the saddness that clouded her voids. Without saying anything he simply nodded back then his attention too was about Hydras waiting not knowing that his brother's and Moon Spirit's lands could be in danger.

Satan, Vitani, Zira, Kuro and Suki

The five followed and settled themselves around Hydras, watching the others. They were all curious as to what Hydras would do next.

Satan knew quite a few of the group, whereas the other five were just getting use to them all.

Hydras, Skeil, Yersinia, Bullet, & Mesa

Bullet followed Sasha in and sat down near her as she spoke with Ninaki. Like his nephew Kenyon, Bullet was able to deal with Narsia's death better than poor Ninaki. So now he listened passively to Hydras, though his mind was busy working over the question Sasha had last given him.

Yersinia entered now and flopped down against one of the lot's walls, basking in the sun that filtered through the cold day. Her eyes closed, but one ear was tilted up to hear what her aunt had to say.

Skeil, as usual, stayed next to Hydras, listening attentively.

With the pack gathered, Hydras took a moment to look over everyone. Her heart swelled at the sight of so many canids gathered under her rule. The alpha stood up, lifting her muzzle slightly, "It's time that I informed you of our rivalries and allies. Many of you know them, but many of you don't." Hydras turned her attention to Aaka and gave a nod, signaling everyong to look that way, "Our greatest ally is Aaka, alphess of the Silver Glades. Moon Spirit of the Sedge Creek is another ally of ours. There are two more important figures." She went on, saying 'important' with a less than important tone. "Aidan and Ankh are my nephews. Aidan lives at the Ranch, and Ankh is on his own. They too are allies, and should be treated as such. However," Hydras stated at length, "The Ranch is by no means off limits to us. Just speak with me if you're planning on attacking the place." Now the alpha stopped and looked about at the gathered members, seeing if they had any questions, or anything to add. Her next topic was to be on the enemies, and the Alley pack in particular.

Sequoia

The young hybrid watched and jumped off her milk crate. She went and stood near Yersinia, who was almost a friend. She was close enough for Sequioa, friends werent something she took to very well. They always turned on her later or hated her from the beginning. She nodded to the new comers then lay down watching with deep yellow eyes.

Aaka nodded also but her body tensed as a whisper of wind hit her. Trouble Softly she said "Thank you for aquainting me with everyone Hydras but I must go unfortuanatly." With these words she slipped away quiet as a shadow in the whispering breeze that carried only a word for her ears.

Sasha saw her 'friend' leave and smiled faintly after the new mother. She turned to Bullet and said softly "Come here pillow." Her words were laughing and only for his ears. She had always liked using Bullet for a 'pillow' as she put it. Softly she said to him "Maybe when this is over we can go see if its time to get this stupid leg thing off." Her words were hopeful for she hated the cast. It was warm and driving the poor doberman insane.

Fly smiled and sat near Kenyon his whole body quivering with excitement. Move move move RUN! was coursing through his mind.

Jake was the last to arrive as he was wont to do. He stayed near the back and watch through dark eyes. Not many knew him but he was there always there lurking near the back.

We course through your veins we seep into your mind, dont try to hide for we will find

Risen .+. Fallen

Both feas trotted in, Fallen keeping her head down and tail between her legs, eyes not looking into anys. Though Risen dared anyone to mess with her. Her head was flat with her back, Keeping a "Don't mess with me" Look to all those who could be intimidated by her. She sat close to Hydras, though alone. Fallen sat farther away and watched the Alphess as she spoke. Awaiting orders, prepared to loyally follow them.

Satan, Vitani, Zira, Suki, Kuro

Satan nodded. He knew Aaka was an Ally, but the rest he did not know of. However if they were Ally's with his pack, then he would accept them into his life.

Zira, Vitani, Suki and Kuro nodded. They would take that on board.

They all waited to see what else the Alpha had to say, so they could remain loyal, trust-worthy and honourable to the pack.

Hydras, Skeil, Yersinia, Bullet, & Mesa

She waited a moment until she was sure that everone was clear with what was given to them. She nodded to Aaka as she left, "You know we'll be there to help if anything ill turns up." Stepping forward, Hydras raised her voice slightly, just for significance, "An old enemy of ours has entered the Valley. I believe only Skeil, Ninaki, and Pirqua have knowledge of them, so I'll inform you all. They are called the 'Alley pack'. As as the name might imply, they at one point had claim on our home. But that's all in the past." Hydras looked smugly to Skeil and Ninaki, "They are a threat to us. And as far as I know from Pirqua and Mesa's observations, they only have 7 members in their pack. However, we don't know what allies they might have. That's why..." The alphas drew her sentence out at length, taking a sweeping gaze of gathered canids, "I would like some of you to spy on her. Ninaki, Skeil, and myself cannot do it, as they know who we are. But the rest of you can disguise your scent easy enough and infiltrate their ranks. Any volunteers?"

Bullet smiled happily, "At your service." He gave a playful bow, then plopped onto his side to let Sasha rest on him.

Yersinia slowly drew open one eye and peered over at Sequoia. The prissy hybrid relented to thump her tail against the ground, showing her acceptance of Sequioa. She too didn't really 'bond' well with others, unless of course they were of the male variety, and could bend to her every whim and need. Yet she found this hybrid acceptable, and even near the 'friend' level.

Skeil thumped her tail against the ground, hearing her alpha use 'us' and 'we' and 'our' a lot in her speech. That was her tactic to make everyone feel like they belonged. Pack unity was critical to the alpha.

Sequioa

She stared at the others for a moment then stood. "Ill go." The hybrid would be a good spy her dark eyes never trusting her anger always lying low. She smiled at Hydras, only the smile wasnt warm but sadistic. "Bring them on"

Sasha rested her head on Bullet and smiled as she waited for the meeting to be over so that she and BUllet could go to the woodland farm and see about getting her cast taken off.

Fallen .+. Risen

Fallens black tail waved weakly, Showing she would go if she was needed to. Risen, however, Felt that the others could go. She felt she might get to agressive at first. Then turned to Hydras and spoke softly in her calm mono-tone. " I wish to stay here, I do not want to cause trouble if my anger gets in the way. An attack to sudden would be unwelcomed." She lowered her head and glanced around, wondering who else would volunteer.

Fallen waited patiently to be accepted for the mission.

White Noise

the hunter did not move his yellow tinted voids never left his commander his matter thought through what had been said and with a gentleman like way he stated.

[I shall attend]

Satan, Vitani, Zira, Suki, Kuro

Satan and Vitani didn't really want to go, but would if they had to. They sat down and waited for whatever else they were to do.

Kuro, Suki and Zira all nodded, accepting the mission.

Hydras, Skeil, Yersinia, Bullet, & Mesa

Hydras was pleased with the response, "Perfect. You'll need to disguise your scents with something; the dump should make that easy enough." She paused a moment as she thought about the plan, "I don't want you all to stay with the Alley pack for too long; just long enough to know about each of them and whether or not they have allies. Every night, if possible, at least one of you should sneak off and head for the Dump. I'll send Yersinia there to meet you, and you can relay what you have learned so far to her. And if any of you come up with a plan, feel free to speak up. Our ultimate goal on this subject is the total enihilation of the Alley Pack, with minimal damage to ourselves."

The alpha looked to Risen and nodded, "That's a wise deciscion. And how about you, " her eyes flickered to Risen's mother. "Why don't you attend the little 'greeting' with the Alley pack." She could see that Fallen maybe wanted to go, and had began to pick up on the fae's very submissive behavior.

"Those that are going, good luck to you. You'll have to work as a team. I have trust in your abilities and loyalty. We'll meet again in a few days, once you have enough information. The rest of us-" Hydras swept her three-tone muzzle through the air, "We need to keep alert and patrol the terra. Investigate every stranger that enters, but always make sure another pack member or ally is within earshot in case of trouble. And remember this," Hydras raised her voice, looking defiantly at eveyone, "We are not above retreating from a fight. If all else fails, conceeding defeat to save our lives beats dying for some folly cause." The alphess gave a deep sigh and nodded to everyone, before departing from the group and heading away to rest.

Skeil stepped towards the group that was to depart for the Alley pack. She wanted to go with, but Fresca would most certainly recognize her. "Last we heard, the pack was heading along the eastern shores, towards the bay. At least one falcon will be trailing you, just to make sure you don't get into trouble. Good luck, and stay stafe!" The pit turned away as well, heading off to patrol the Alleys.

Yersinia rolled her eyes when she heard her name being mentioned earlier. Mumbling under her breath, she watched as her aunt and Skeil departed. But not feeling like getting up, the lithe hybrid stay put, resting in the sun's rays.

Bullet watched as the group began to break up. He woofed a 'good luck' to the group that was to head out. Then he nuzzled Sasha and thumped his tail against the ground.

Risen .+. Fallen

Gray female glared to the ones leaving, then nodded her 'good luck' nod, and turned to follow back into the alleys. Bushy white tail flicking from hock to hock as her legs moved, until the darkness of distance consumed her and she was once again gone.

Fallen stared at the ground, her head low and looking up, only for gestures to move out. Waiting with only a 'dont hurt me' wag. staying put until the group left, then she would follow.

Satan, Vitani, Zira, Kuro, Suki

Kuro, Suki and Zira stood up, nodded good-bye and waited for the signal to head towards Orca Bay.

Satan and Vitani nodded their good-lucks and headed back to the Alleys.
