Thunder & Thyme

Thunder led his little brother into the back alleyway of the stores, desiring to not be seen by humans. He knew that wouldn't last long though. With him being at the age of 6 and Thyme at the age of 4, they were clearly old enough to be caught and sent to the pit or someplace. But Thunder always desired to stay with his brother, for reasons to protect. Thyme was one that could get you in trouble later. By their facial markings and body markings, one could easily mistaken them for wolf and husky hybrids at first glance, but they were both pure gray wolves. And somebody could also tell that they were indeed brothers. Different as hot and cold. Thyme was curious and one that was always acting like a playful pup, and Thunder was protective and smarter. Not only that, but Thunder could give a good bite when his brother was in danger. That's why he never desired to let Thyme out of his sights for a long time. Who knows what the dog-like wolf would end up doing?

Thunder stopped at a large trashcan, certain that there was some tasty food piled up in it. He raised up onto his hindlegs and used his forelegs to push the bundle of food over. He watched with a satisfying grin. "Help yourself," he told his little brother who was looking around Thunder to see the trash-- and food-- fall. The commotion was great but Thyme didn't worry. He actually didn't realize that there could be dangers lurking in the shadows of this place. Thunder was happy right now that they weren't in human captivity. Who would want to live here?
Thunder watched as Thyme started digging into the food and tearing some out of the fallen pile. He watched as he ate the peices with a grin and then burried his muzzle back into the pile. Thunder then stood and walked over, keeping scences alert for danger, and looked around as he stood next to the obviously starving Thyme. When he was sure nothing was near, he started to eat as well. He slowly filled his belly up with easy treats from the two-legged garbage. He raised his head and licked his maw occasionally to be aware of new things around them. So far so hidden.

Thunder & Thyme

Thyme, now having ate his fair share of food, plopped down onto the hard, cold cemented ground. His eyes slowly shut before he completely fell asleep. Thunder layed down too, but didn't go to sleep. The instant Thyme woke up, Thunder urged him out of the back of the Stores. They were once again heading for the wilds. Their toenails clicked on the cement as they made their way out of civilization.
