Mark & *Sheep*
Mark drove down a road that wasn't so cluttered by buildings. There were many lots of grass here, surrounded by high fences. Mark stopped the truck and got out, then left his door open for Becca to jump out as well, if she wanted.
Then he walked to the back of the trailer his truck was toting, and opened it up. He had backed the trailer to the gate of one lot of grass. He tried to coax the sheep out of the trailer, but they wouldn't come out. It took some time, but he finally got the sheep to file into the lot. Unfortunately, three of the sheep ran past the lot, and began to run down the road.
Surprised by this, Mark called quickly for Becca to retrieve the runaway sheep.

Mark, *Sheep, & Stranger*
The sheep were hesitant to go back, since they were frightened and in a place they have never been in before. Just as they were allowing themselves to be herded back to the lot, a large, gruff-looking man suddenly slips out from the shadow of a house. He runs quickly towards Becca, and attempts to throw a rope about her neck...
At the moment, Mark had turned to tend to the sheep already in the grass lot. The stranger had seen Mark wasn't looking, and that's when he struck.

*yelping in surprise she turns and reaches out with her maw to the strangers leg and pulled to knock him off his feet. she pulled on the rope around her neck to try and get it off. her eyes were frightened.*
Mark, *Stranger*
The stranger kicked Becca hard with his foot and yanked on the rope so that it went tight around the hybrid's throat and nearly choked her. He was in the process of wrapping the rope around her muzzle as well when Mark saw what was going on.
With a yell, he ran down the street towards Becca and the stranger. Without warning, his fist flew to the stranger's jaw and knocked the man off his feet and stunned him for a moment. Mark then leaned down and tugged the rope off Becca's neck. He was about to face the stranger again, but the stranger had scrambled to his feet and fled down the sidewalk. Mark started after him, but soon stopped. The stranger was very fast. Worriedly, Mark kneeled down again to pet Becca and see if she was alright.

Mark
Mark frowned again with concern. He muttered a few hot words under his breath, then scooped up Becca in his arms. Even for her size, Mark was still very strong and could easily carry her. And so he carried her back to the lot and set her down on the grass.
Soon, an older man came over to Mark, and the two began talking. Every now and then, one of them would glance down at Becca, or in the direction the man took off. Though Becca couldn't possibly understand what they spoke about, they were talking of the man that had tried to capture her. The old man had just heard that the same man had been seen carrying two younger dogs to his car and driving away with them.
