Ruffienne

The dark queen stood on the edge of the bog, panting heavily, sides lathery. Beside her, a piebald filly lay on dry ground. Ruffienne reluctantly cleaned the foal, and waited for her to stand. With a broken heart, Ruffienne had named the filly Shattered Seraph. Ruffienne watched the inhabitants of this bog walk by, offering Ruffienne not lenient glances. Snorting softly, Ruffienne leaned against a tree. What am I going to do?

Jasper

Jasper was roaming the shadows when a familiar scent hit him. He smiled peering through to the open spotting his target. He stopped when he noticed the foal. It resembled Disease one of his herd members. Right than he decided to please his king by taking him his sister and the filly. He leapt out of the trees charging to catch Ruffienne mane.

Ruffienne

Ruffienne stayed put at Jasper charged, but she turned slightly so his body clashed with her shoulder instead. "L-leave me alone, fool!" Ruffienne screeched, kicking back. "You will not touch me or my foal!"

Jasper

Jasper backed up rethinking his stragedy. He charged once again putting all his weight into it. Surely she couldn't fight him off with just giving birth he thought ears pulled back. "I think its time for the foal to meet his father don't you,"he retorted venomously.

Ruffienne

Ruffienne panicked, nipping at Jasper. For a moment, she knew her freedom. Then, she thought. She needed to save Dawn. Ruffienne tried to push Jasper away, to at least protect Seraph. "I will go with you, but you will not touch my daughter," Ruffienne snapped, still over her daughter.

Seraph had stood up, and already nursed, but now she cowered, looking at Jasper with wide eyes.

Jasper

Jasper simply snorted. He made to herd her and Seraph to Opake Mountains.
