Zak; Shannon; Viva; Stalker; Uninvited; Kamir

The pack of canines ran to the bog, setting the deer fawn down in the dirt. The children of Zak and Shannon came out of the den to investigate. "What are you going to do with him?" Yakone asked. Zak looked down at his son. "The fawn will go through training. Then he will be one of us." The dog replied.

After a while, Kamir woke up, looking around frantically for his family. He couldn't find his mother, nor his brother. In fact, he couldn't see any deer. All he found when he awoke was a pack of strange canines. "Where's my mother? And where's Snowdon? You haven't hurt them, have you?" He questioned, rising to his feet.

Uninvited, a coydog, approached the hybrid deer fawn and smiled politely. "Your family is safe, and you are safe as well. My name is Uninvited." She said warmly, giving her tail a wag.

Kamir stood still, frozen in fear, staring at the hybrid canine. Surely his herd would rescue him, if they could find him.

A short distance away, but out of hearing range of the nearly-deaf fawn, Viva and Shannon were speaking. "Do you think he'll be a good fighter?" Shannon asked. Viva shook her head and sighed. "I'm not going to make assumptions right now. I think he could assist us in some way, but we'll have to test him and train him first." The black wolf replied.

Chido

He had followed them here. His nares flaring. He came from the brush and now stood.Give back our child. You filthy mongrels! He snorted and then lowered his head ready to charge.

Viva; Others

Viva grinned evilly when she saw the stag. "You would do perfectly as a member of our pack." She said arrogantly. Zak, Shannon, Uninvited, Viva and Stalker all stood together, between the fawn and Chido, growling angrily. "Seize him!" Viva barked out. The five large canines suddenly leapt at the stag. Viva went for the throat, Stalker for one shoulder, Uninvited for the other shoulder. Zak struck up at Chido's belly, while Shannon snapped at his rump.

The younger hybrids circled around Kamir, trying to keep him from escaping.

Chido

He snorted his ears back.He swung his head at the one who went for his throat and then for the one who went for his right shoulder. Then to the left.He felt one on his rump and snorted and bucked. He also hoped to step on Zak even if he didn't his body would move to the side after to avoice him.He spun his head around and his body trying to impale any of them with his antlers.Let Him go you fools! You will be killed if you don'tHe snorted. His hooves flying every now and then.

Viva; Others

The canines stepped back a bit, watching the stag flail his hooves around. All but Shannon leapt for Chido again, each going for a different leg. Shannon ran back to Kamir and grabbed his throat in her jaws, biting down so he couldn't breathe. "Leave or I kill the fawn!" She growled. She would do it, too. "Unless you wish to make a trade..."

Chido

He jumped away from them and then saw what she wad oing.Trade? For what?He snorted his ears back but he didn't budge yet.He would do anything to free the fawn even if it ment he took the fawns place...

Viva; Others

Shannon grinned. "Another deer. Any one. It doesn't matter. Just give one to us." She replied, ready to chomp down should Chido decline. Viva nodded. "Fawns are best, but it doesn't matter to me." She added.

Chido

He knew it would upset his sister but he had to. Fawns had so much more to live for even though he was only three himself.Fawns are out of the picture, Ill take his place He said his eyes holding no emotion. He pawed the ground.

Viva; Others

Viva smiled and motioned for Shannon to release the fawn. "Very well. But if you desert us, we will kill two fawns and a doe every day, and a stag once a week, until you come back. If you refuse to return to us after your whole herd is killed, we will kill you. Understood?" She said coldly, her piercing yellow eyes staring up at Chido.

Chido

He listened.fine, Let me bring him back and then i shall return here. I keep my wordhe said watching them. His tail flicked.

Tornado & Bagre

Grandfather and grandson stood shoulder to shoulder, hunched down in the thick foliage as they watched the interaction. "This have come a long ways since I was born, Bagre." Tornado whispered to his grandson.

"I see what you mean. Why is all of this happening?" He questioned, rounded ears perked forward as he listened to Chido's words. "Why would they want a fawn for anything else but food?"

Tornado shook his head, "I'm sure they have their reasons." The ashen-gray male answered quietly, "Whoever they are, they are new blood in the Valley"

Bagre looked to his smaller grandfather, his ebony coat a stark contrast to the other's.

Viva; Others

Viva nodded. "Very well." She said blankly, nudging Kamir closer to Chido. "Zak will go with you to make sure you keep your word. If both you and him do not return, your entire herd will pay." She nodded to Zak, who moved beside Chido. "Well, let's get going then." The husky said. Kamir looked at Chido, trembling.

Chido

He snorted. So be it, But for his safety he should stay in the bushsHe spoke and then nuzzled Kamir and then nudged him lightly. He moved off at atrot toward the oak priarie.

Viva; Others

Kamir and Zak moved along with Chido. Stalker lifted her head when she smelled a stranger. This wasn't a deer, nor was it a member of their pack. This was a new scent. "Hello? Anyone there?" She called out, taking a look around. Viva stepped up beside her daughter. "Show yourselves!" She barked.

Chido

Chido ears back soon came back his tail flicked. He stoped when he got back to the vile group.

Viva; Others

Viva smiled when Zak and Chido returned. "You will be tested, stag, in many different ways. But first, what is your name?" She growled, examining him closely. "I am Viva, leader of the Terror Pack."

Stalker and Uninvited remained alert. They knew they smelled a stranger here.

Tornado & Bagre

Tornado stood up fully and stepped out from the foliage, "Sorry if we alarmed you; we were just being cautious, is all." The wolf bowed his head, keeping his tail low to show he meant no harm, "I'm Tornado, and this is my grandson, Bagre."

At his name, the larger wolf drew forth, dipping his head once. Then his dark eyes shot towards Chido, wondering what in the world the pack had planned for the deer.

Chido

Tested? What the hell were they thinking? He snorted .My name is ChidoHe said calmly showing no emotion no more. He felt that it would just hinder him in this situation. He then glanced to the next two to step out from the brush.

Viva; Others

Viva nodded. "I have no more to ask. You may wander, but stay in the bog. After your test, we will determine if you will be allowed to breed or if you will be an underling." She replied. "The test will cover many factors, such as physical strength, willpower, stamina and intelligence. I have a feeling you will do very well, but I will not make any assumptions."

Stalker and Uninvited smiled at Tornado and Bagre. "I'm Stalker, and this is my friend Uninvited." She replied, nodding to the coydog next to her. "My mother, Viva, is that black wolf talking to the deer. The husky is Zak, and the white wolf is Shannon."

Zak and Shannon stepped forward, their pups following them. "Hello." Shannon said warmly.

Tornado & Bagre

Eyes flickered from canine to canine as each was introduced. Tornado, again, was the one to speak up, "It's a pleasure to meet all of you. We were wondering if you might be looking for more pack membes...?"

Bagre gave a friendly wag to his tail, excited about the potential for finally finding a family to settle in with. He had done so much wondering of late.

Chido

He listened and then moved away from them and sniffed the ground and when he found some grass he began to graze. His ears back in both anger and sadness.

Viva; Others

Stalker smiled and wagged her tail. "We're always looking for more members." She said joyfully. "Were you looking to join?" Viva looked over and Stalker nodded to her.

The black wolf came up beside her hybrid daughter and looked over the wolves curiously. "I am Viva, alpha female of the Terror Pack. Don't worry - we're not as bad as the name makes us sound. We're looking to create a strong pack, a pure one. Those who are fittest will be allowed to breed. We call it speeding up natural selection. So, are you interested?" She explained, not once offering a smile. She would only trust these wolves when they gave her a reason to.

Tornado & Bagre

There was some hesitancy shown by Tornado, and it was Bagre who was first to speak this time, "We would be honored." The large wolf said, bowing his head further in respect, "It's been too long that we've wondered without a pack."

Tornado released a quite sigh, but nodded as well. He had lived in traditional packs before, but times were changing and he had to accept it.

Stalker

Viva had wandered away by now. She wasn't trying to be rude, but she couldn't stay in one place for very long. She just had to always move around. Stalker smiled and nodded. "Then you're members of the Terror Pack. Welcome." She said politely, dipping her head in respect.
