Sang
The tall black female was near silent as she made her way to the Spinlose bog. She was the daughter of Aaka and Legosa, she had been missing for some time. Ever since Laporta's death the female had hidden herself away from her family. She had failed. When they saw her they would know that she had failed to protect her kind sister. Tears sprang up into her eyes as she moved forth deeper and deeper. The muck that she walked through was left on her fur as she continued on, staining her dark coat with brown. Sadness seemed to radiate off of the female. She was supposed to be the guardian, but yet here she was. Alone and vulnerable.
Lokk
He was by no means a young wolf, but even though he was past his 'prime', Lokk was not weak in a physical or mental sense. Strength was something the wolf still had, although endurance was just beginning to faulter. As for experience and wisdom... he had plenty of that stuff. It was vital, after all, to a wolf who needed to depend on himself, and himself alone.
Padding through the bog at a slow, methodical pace, Lokk caught sight of Sang tredging along. Quietly, he followed her a short while before picking up his speed and gave a low, quick bark to catch her attention. Green eyes watched for her reaction. If there was anything Lokk was good at, it was judging other's intentions.
Sang
Catching the bark of another she halted, but not for long. She had begun to sink in her spot. With a disgusted snort she moved on, as if ignoring Lokk as she trudged through the think muck that was up to her chest now. Hitting solid ground she pulled herself out and noticing he was still there she snapped "What?" She wasn't mean by any means. She was just wary of strangers ever since Laporta died. Her eyes followed him now, deadly yellow eyes that seemed to capture Lokk's every move. Although she had yet to enhance her people skills, she had had time to learn the ways of life. Eat or be eaten, fight or flight. Her muscles were tense as she glared at him, poised and ready to attack or flee. She knew her parents had many enemies and that many of those enimies would not mind sinking theyre fangs into her pretty little hide.
Lokk
To her hostility, Lokk offered an eye-squinting smile to the fae, and stayed right where he was so that he wouldn't seem so threatening. His smile seemed genuinely friendly, but it seemed to carry something else with it... amusement? Or something more sinister? What ever lay behind the meaning of those pearly whites, only Lokk knew.
"I didn't mean to alarm you." The wolf replied at a steady rate, his voice casual and friendly enough. "You seemed to be searching for somethng, and I thought you might want some help?"
Sang
She remained tense and her head dropped instictvly even with his smile. In a voice that was cool enough to match her mothers she said "I seek no one and nothing." She wanted to leave it at that and turn to walk away but he was close enough that within a few bounds he could reach her and strike her turned back. She was wary, yes so wary. It came from both the demise of Laporta and hungry predators thinking they would make a meal out of the smooth talking pretty hybrid. Her eyes continued to follow his every move and she didnt like his smile that he gave her. She wanted to turn and bolt but pride kept her in place. She had a pride like her brothers own, and she wasn't about to let it get deflated.
Lokk
His smile lessed just slightly as he let his eyes focus more on her forehead, so as he didn't seem too dominanting. Lokk's pose was perfectly calm, and lacking in the tension that Sang carried, "Maybe not a physical thing you are looking for, and perhaps you don't know yet that you are looking for it." The wolf replied lightly, speaking on what he percieved to be true, though he could always be wrong. Some wolves were harder to read than others. "I'm Lokk, by the way." He didn't ask Sang for her name, but he was now looking at her in a more expectant kind of way.
Sang
Her body tensed, if physically possible, more at his words. "I don't know what your talking about." She said tersly. When he gave his name her eyes narrowed and she said in a wary tone "Sang." It was her only words but at least he was getting somewhere. Her gaze cast all around her seeking to make sure no one was listening to them. All she needed was to have someone know who she was.....What would her parents do if both her and Laporta were dead? Aaka would grow darker, moodier, Deadlier. Legosa, not knowing what to do, would become exactly like his mate. A deadly combination.
Lokk
Still he remained at a peaceful stance, his eyes slightly averted from the younger female's. "Sang, is it? I'm sorry if I'm frightening you; it's certainly not my intention." Lokk said, noting how she looked around, "And I'm alone out here just as you are." He thought about taking a step closer, but figured that would only highten Sang's alarm, so again, he remained where he stood. "So Sang, if I may ask, what brings you wondering along out here?"
Sang
The female eyed him less cautiously now that she was certain they were alone. "Hiding from family." She said. Immiediatly she wished for the words back. She didn't know this wolf. He could be in alliance with them! She tensed up once more and she said in a curt tone "And I fear no one! Not you, not them. Not even the great God himself." No, She feared no one. At least thats what she liked to believe.
Lokk
There was a glint in his eye now, but like his smile, it was hard to tell the intentions behind this subtle feature, "If you have no fear, why are you hiding from your family?" Lokk stole his gaze away from Sang for a moment to watch a small moth flutter through some nearby branches before looking back to the young female, "Sometimes fear is a good thing to have. It stops us from doing stupid things." His gleaming ivories were shown in a refreshed smile, but this one was coming purely from his last remark. Nothing but a simple, grinning smile.
