*Human & Horse*

Along an overgrown, rarely-used road, a truck was bogged down in the thick mire. Hooked to the back of the truck was a horse trailer, holding two mares.

The man had tried for near an hour to get out of the mud, but had succeeded only in ripping deep ruts and sinking even further. Frustrated, he got out of the truck and began to walk around, trying to locate some logs to stick under his tires for traction.

In the bed of the truck were two coolers. One was filled with drinks, and the other with some lunch meat, cheese, chicken, and steak. The man had been on his way to a party, but had taken a supposed 'shortcut' and ended up in his current predicament.

Twister

The coyote was prowling around after being attacked by the wolf he was more cautious. He sniffed the air and smelled human and he smelled meat. He snuck up to the truck and saw a man and some horses the horses were in a trailer so he didn't know how many there were. What interested him though was the smell of meat and human food. He emerged from the bushes and snuck up to the truck the scent was even stronger now. he leapt into the back of the truck and sniffed around. He was now in view of the horses he didn't know it though. The horses were most likely to get spoked and give up his position.

Eclipse & Dawn

Eclipse lifted his head from his weary travels. It was a long- mucky walk across the bog. Besides, the wolf trailing him didn't seem all that friendly. The familiar scent of mares had brought his attention, and he veered off from him path. Trotting that way, followed by the wolf.

Dawn didn't honestly want to eat the horse- he was just planning to follow him. He probably knew where there was good food. Dawn, was human raised, and though he was fully a wolf- he had no clue what to do. Watching the coyote as they approached, he growled lowly, leaping onto the bed after him. Snapping nastily at him as he approached the cooler first.

*Human & Horses*

There were three horses in the trail. The one up front could scent the canines and began to worry about. She snorted and tossed her head, stomping the ground. The other two got restless as well. But so far, they didn't make any loud noise or anything for their owner to hear.

The man was too far out in the woods to easily hear what was going on at his truck.

Eclipse & Dawn

Eclipse had trodden after the wolf- not awfully threatened by a loner, and a coyote. His eyes were on the mares, anyway, and he stepped cautiously up to the trailer. Absurd smells filling his nostrils. Nothing HE'D ever eat.

Dawn took the oppurtunity to chomp down the food- basically blocking the coyote.

*Horses*

The horses grew increasingly nervous and shuffled around in the trailer. It would take some powerful kicks to the door of the trailer to bust it open, if it was desired to get the mares out.

The man was still trecking around in the muck, cursing under his breath and searching in vain for some logs.

Twister

He growled this wolf could probably over power him in a fight. He kept his distance from the wolf he then spotted the horse and growled he wouldn't attack it that would be suicide. He turned his attention back to the wolf and the cooler. The sweet aroma of meat entered his nostrils and he couldn't take it anymore he charged under the wolf and raised up hoping to throw the wolf off balance and then eat the rest of the meat.

Eclipse, Dawn

Dawn growled, chomping his teeth down on the hackles of the coyotes neck.

" Back off, scum, " he snapped, holding on steadily, and sinking his teeth in further at a slow steady pace.

Eclipse trotted around the car, sizing it up. Snorting at the wolf and coyote in the back, he pushed his side against the stuck truck, and began to push, hard.

Twister

The coyote backed off he would eat what was left. Sorry its just I'm so hungry. He grinned and waited for him to finish

Eclipse, Dawn

Dusk looked back at the coyote with curious eyes.

" I thought you coyotes were smart enough to catch things yourself?" Dawn commented, flicking his tail as he left room for the coyote. But not quite enough for him to gobble everything- just get a few pieces of the scraps Dawn had left behind.
