Sarah was with her father and two men; both carried guns. They were just on their way to go to the Common Trails and deal with the 'problem' bears. Wide-eyed with worry for her beloved pet, Sara was compelled to tag along with the three men. But then she saw Silent Snow and ran forward. Kneeling down, she gripped the hybrid tight around the neck in a hug while she spoke to her.
Stallis took a step back, staying just behind Silent Snow. His ears were up and his tail was waving faintly. "She seems nice." he whispered. "But why is she squeezing your neck like that?"
The father gave a loud sigh in relief and walked quickly over to Silent Snow and patted her on the head. The two other men continued on their way to try and find the bears. Sara's father spoke again, "I'll go get your mother and we'll take Snow to the vet; it looks like she got roughed up. As for this fellow... maybe he can tag along."
Silent Snow
she loves me. shes glad i lived. *he tail wagged hard when she saw sarah and she licked her face.* i hope you can tag along can you stallis?

He sat back on his haunches, thinking into his past for a moment. He had owners that loved him, so why did he never go back home? Well, it was far too late to go back 'home' now, so why not go along with this family? "Yes, I hope so too." he then replied and waved his brushy tail. The collie stepped forward and nudged the man's hand with his ears laid back and tail wagging even more.
The man smiled broadly and rubbed Stallis' head, "He seems a nice fellow. Probably belongs to a family that's camping here." Patting him once more on the head, the man stood up, "Well, lets get going. We'd better take Silent to the Vet."
Sarah stroked Silent Snow's fur, and after one last squeezing hug, she stood up. "Lets take him too. His owners wouldn't mind, we'll bring him right back. Besides, maybe he's hurt! And look at his fur, it's full of cockaburs!"
The father was silent a moment, then nodded, "I s'pose you're right. Ok, come one then." He strolled over to their van and opened the back door, then whistled for Silent Snow and Stallis.
Sara climbed into the back of the van as well, waiting for her pet and the collie.

*she barked happilly into the back seat.* come on stalliss lets go. *if stalliss hadn't come she would have been a hybrid wolf dinner.*

Stallis raced across the ground and sprung into the back of the van, tail high and waving with excitement. "I don't like the word vet, but it's nice having humans around again." he said looking around the van. The door was shut and the vehicle roared to life. As Sara spoke sweetly to the two and worried over Silent Snow's injuries, the van drove off to the Vet Building at the Wolf Center.
