Nightcrawler

Limping one three good legs, the young wolf made his way through the park. He didn't have the strength to leave the park yet, nor did he have a good reason too. He had gotten food from a human, and was determined to find more while he was unable to hunt. Nightcrawler stood panting in a thick patch of timber where he was out of view of the nearest camp site. His broken ribs were causing him more agony now than his front leg was, and making travel too difficult. I will search for food at dawn. he thought to himself with a sigh. Feeling sickly, Nightcrawler traveled only a little further until he reached one of the campsites. He laid down within the timberline where he could look out and see the empty space of land and the cold firepit. With the coming of night, his black pelt would blend him in with the shadows.

Kivo

The young pitbull pup struggled through the snow. He had wondered too far from his packlands while playing tag, and was no hopelessly lost. Normally he stuck with his siblings and Winters Night to keep warm, but now he was alone. His short fur was little protection against the snow and cold. As night came on, Kivo grew colder and very worride. His lengthy tail was held low to the ground, and he whimpered and peered about with wide eyes at every strange noise.

After a while, Kivo found Nightcrawler. He had known no aggression from any wolf or dog, besides when he was very young. Now he was just cold and scared, and looked upon this wolf hopefully. Tucking his little tail between his legs, Kivo slinked over to the black wolf, still whimpering plantively.

Nightcrawler

Nightcrawler heard the whimpering and lifted his head quickly as his keen ears swiveled back to locate the nosie. The sight of any dog brought fear to him, but this was only a pup. What harm could a pup like him do? The wolf gave a slight smile to show friendlyness, "Where did you come from? You must be cold, little one."

Kivo

Kivo waved his tail so enthusiastically that his whole back end moved side to side with the motion. Seeing Nightcrawler's friendlyness, Kivo instantly brightened up and almost forgot the fact that he was lost and cold. "My name is Kivo!" he yipped excitedly, then dipped his head slightly, "But I'm lost from my pack." The pitbull raised his blunt head again, tilting it to the side a bit, "I forget what our pack is called... but I know it must be close to the place where the sheep live. My mommy went there to catch sheep, and she brought some back for us to eat. Well... she's not really my mommy, but she adopted us and saved us from the bad humans." The pup looked up expectantly at his new found friend. He was quite a talker, and still oblivious to the evils in the world.

Nightcrawler

He almost laughed at the pup's outgoing spirit, "I'm Nightcrawler, but some just call me Night." The mention of the sheep reminded Nightcrawler of his last encounter with the wolves, and his broken leg. That's the last place he wanted to go... but sympathy for this lost pup won over his fear. "I know where the sheep live, but it is very dangerous to go there." The wolf struggles to his three good legs, wincing again from the stabbing pain it brought to his side. "Stay near me. Hopefully we'll find someone there how will know your pack." The wolf was exhausted, but he could find rest later. Slowly, he made his way to the Sheep Pasture.

Kivo

Kivo quickly noticed the way Nightcrawler stood up, and then relized he was injured. His floppy ears drew back slightly, but this time he held his tounge and didn't ask any questions. Soon or later though, curiousity would get the best of him and he would ask what had happened. But for now, he was thrilled to be going to the Sheep Pasture and hopefully back to his packlands. The pup bounced around and followed after Nightcrawler. With all his racing about, the cold was driven from his body for the while.
