Kesa
Midnight and silver dusted mynx treds slowly towardsthe fencedruns, harlks perked as the sounds of struggling canines enters them. She was never one to leave a fellow wolf alone, even though there had to be danger near. Her nose is pressed against the fence, spheres of emerald glancoing into the run.
*Canines*
One old she-wolf lay in the back of a run. Her grayed muzzle was laid over her front paws as she looked dully out at the world.
Another cage held a younger adult wolf, pacing back and forth in his small run. Spotting the other wolfess, he stopped and gave one short bark to her. His tail waived faintly.
The other cages were mostly filled as well, with wolves, some coyotes, and strays picked up off the streets.
Kesa
Vixen of silver and raven mix turned to face the kennels housing the other canines. Pistonms carry the afe slowly towards a cage with an older fae, emeralds looking to her. "Why are you in here? Who does this to all of you" A ped i lifted and she scratched lightly on the wire cages.
*She-Wolf*
She didn't bother to raise her tired body, but simply lifted her head to speak, "The two-leggers bring us here and keep is in these tiny cages; they kill some of us and do horrible things to the rest of us." her sad eyes turned down a moment before looking back to the vixen's, "There are many traps around here, be sure you don't get caught by them."
Kesa
Vixen shook her dial, trying to remove the thoughts. Yes humans were horrid but would they do this?! Kesa was so naive, and yet she still lived. It was hardto imagine. Jaws part, voice emmited. "I will be fine, but you, can't you get out." Dove cratched at the wire cage, barking a bit for encouragement.
*She-Wolf & Human*
She sat up stifly, but showed no interest. "I've tried many times, but after the many long years... there's just no way out." Her head turned suddenly as she spotted movement outside her kennel. "There's one! Be swift, flee from here!" she whispered urgently.
A woman was walking slowly down the sidewalk, heading for Kesa. She had something behind her back and spoke sweetly to the wolf. Her posture seemed to show she was being sneaky, yet her voice was oddly friendly.
"Don't be fooled by them, they care nothing for you!" The wolfess warned as her ears laid back against her skull.
Kesa
Femme turned around swiftly, orbs of emerald falling upon the woman. A low snarl was emmited, though foolishly the angel did not move. Auds flattened against her skull, hackles raised as her warning continued. Hinds kicked out at the cage which held the fae, attempting to free her from her cell wheil still tryinh gto protect herself.
*She-Wolf & Human*
The she-wolf rumbled deeply as her eyes followed the woman's movements, "Hurry, before it's too late!" she warned pleadingly to Kesa.
The woman stopped her approach, though she still talked. Almost quicker than the eye could follow, she whipped around a small blow-gun and held it to her mouth. With a quick huff of breath, a small dart was blown from the tube and struck Kesa in the flank. It was a sedative; if Kesa didn't leave quickly and find a very good place to hide before she went unconscious, she'd be waking up in one of the fenced runs!
Kesa
The angel stumbled against the cage, shaking her dial as her vision blurred slightly. She attempted to stumble off, her speed slowing.
*Human*
The lady followed quickly after the wolf and lost sight of her a few times in the thick vegetation. But her stumbling and slowed movements created the faintest of trails for the lady to follow. Not too long after Kesa had succumb to the drug, the woman found her. She knelt down, and with a great heave, managed to get the wolf part way slung over her shoulder. After struggling up, the woman carried the unconscious canine back to the fenced runs and placed her in an empty cage. With no food and a grimy dish of water, Kesa was left alone so she could wake up.
Kesa
A few hours later the mynx lifted her dial, limbs pushing her off the ground as a low snarl was released. She had been caught! thisb was not right no! How could they keep her here. The fae ran about her run, anger setting in deeper then before. Then she dshaed towarsd the end, jaws latching around the wire as she tried to rip it apart with her jaws. She did this countless times, snarlign and thrashign about as she tried and tried. She would be free, she had to be.
*Dog*
A fairly large dog, some sort of Airedale mix, stood in the cage next to her and watched her futile attempts at escape. "Did you come from the wild?" he spoke out suddenly in a mild voice.
Kesa
The voice hauled her attamps, dial turning as spheres fell upon the mix. With a dash to the side, she got as close as she could, watching him. "Where else can you come from?" Naive, naive, niave. If she was any more so death would surely have already been upon her.
*Dog*
He was a bit taken aback from the responding question, but it was answer enough. "I certainly didn't come from the wild." he began, deciding to tell his own tale, "Some humans took me from my home in the human's colony." the brute explained, colony meaning 'town' in his vocabulary. "But my humans will find me soon, I know." he paused for a moment before asking, still in a calm, mild voice, "Are you scared? They say we should be, but I'm not."
Kesa
The goddess coked her dial to the side, trying to grasp the fact that a canine lived in existence with humans willingly. But she would sya nothing about it, for she did not wish to offend her new friend. At his question shge let a low growl, not at him but simply sonferming the answer she was about to give. "Frightened, no. This place doe snot scare me. Angry, yes. If those humans dare try and touch me again I will have it so it is impossible to toucher another canine again"
*Dog & Humans*
The dog gave an almost sympathetic smile, "You've got a good spirit. Lets hope you will keep it in the days to come." The airedale-mix turned his head casually to the side, hearing a human approach. The human was large and strong looking and carried a noose-pole in his hand. A second human, smaller than the first, carried something else.
The large man pryed Kesa's door open very slightly and stood in the small opening he created. If she tried to lunge at the door and bite him or slip past, he'd be their to block her with the pole. He waited at first to see what her reaction would be before he attempted to catch her.
Kesa
With a swift turn her emerald pool fell upon the humans, orbs looking to the noose before once more the man. So they intended to capture her eh? Not this time. the mynx raised her hackles as a low snarl was emmited. Quickly her pistons carried her towards the closest man, the wolfess leaping off to the side then directly towards the man. She wished to get aholf of his arm which held the noose.
*Humans*
The big man had much experience with canines, and examined her movements carefully. When she leapt for his arm, he waited until just the right time before swinging the end of the pole down and bashing it against her skull. The force would send her to the ground, but the pole itself wasn't so thick and dense as to knock her out; not for the first blow, anyway.
Kesa
The fea yelped as her skull came in contact with teh noose, her form falling limply to the soil. Her head now pounded from the blow, the world spinning in front of her as her emerald pools try to focus on one thing. For the time being she had forgotten about the man, simply because her mind was so boggled from the blow.
*Human*
He gave a light chuckle before slipping the pole down and trying to get the noose quickly around her neck. The other man spoke something to the larger one; he seemed in quite a hurry. But the big man didn't seemed the least bit concerned over time.
Kesa
The vix still tryed desperately to claim her balance and sight back, her orbs looking about, trying to keep still. But a flash of metal and a beam near her even allows her to back off a bit. She attempted to step back, falling at the first attempt to stand. then she felt it, the wire around her nape. She growled low, but not for along as it hurt her head even more so.
*Humans*
They yanked harshly on the pole, dragging Kesa suddenly forward and most likely off balance. Then they led her, struggling or not, to the Laboratory.
