Darkeyes*Taipa

Snowy father trotted out of the labs with his daughter, now almost a year of age. Lifting his dial to catch the breeze, he sighed contentedly, turning the deep brown pools that were his namesake to the trees just beyond the clearing of the runs. It was time to go home.

Taipa trotted beside her father, whole and strong after recovering from the surgery that saved her life. Her brow was a little furrowed with worry, though, because she could sense a difference in her father, but she knew not where the Wind of Change might blow them. Coming up beside him, she ran her bespeckled tiara along his side, smiling and letting out a low whimper. You miss Mama, don't you. It was a statement, not a question. It is time we went home to her, to Apollo... and her voice went soft. All we have left is each other, Papa. We've got to stick together. I am well and strong. Let's go home.

Their back was turned toward the door of the labs, for the only human contact they had come into here was pleasant, and they had no reason to be afraid. Anyone coming out of that door could easily see them from Taipa's speckled coat, and capture them quickly if they took them by surprise.

He trotted out with them. Cookie dipped his head to them and was silent. He would walk with them home...and gaurd them from any of the humans that worked here.

Human

A human hid in a bush as they passed by. He had a noose pole. The human had a dog treat. It was filled with a liquid chemical that would put Cookie asleep for hours, giving him enough time to move Cookie back to Woodland Farm. He waited. The treat's scent was now in the air.

*Human*

The woman who preformed surgery on Taipa, walked towards the kennel were they had been kept for the past while. She gave Cookie a pat, and nelt down to eye level of the wolves.
[How are you to doing? Feeling better pup? I'll be back with some food!]
The woman walked away, and returned with a hose, and a small deer. She opened the door slightly, and tossed the dead deer into the kennel, and she sprayed the hose at the water hole. The woman closed the door, and sat by the door, making sure they were alright.

Lured by the treat's scent,Cookie padded over to the treat and ate. He suddenly felt dizzy and fell asleep right then and there. The man put on a mask and then released a sleeping gas in the air.

Darkeyes*Taipa

Darkeyes smiled and let out a low bark at the sight of Cookie, happy to see the pup who had helped him so much. He watched the little one go, assuming something had distracted him, like most other pups. He was sitting upwind of the treat, though, and didn't smell it.

He let his banner wave hard as the friendly human came and left meat and water. Tearing off a small chunk, he began to eat contentedly, for he was beginning to trust her. She was changing his less than favorable views of humans.

Taipa also smiled and flopped her whipcord about at the approach of Cookie and the v.i.t., daintily grabbing up a small chunk of the deer for herself and scrubbing her head along the woman's hand before she withdrew.

Unfortunately, her unpigmented nose had almost no ability to pick up scents, and so the smell of the treat bypassed her unnoticed.

Both stood eating, neither suspecting what was about to happen.

Cookie*Human

The man carried Cookie to a cage. He would deal with the golden later. Now, he had to put the rest to sleep. He directed a stronger sleeping gas the the v.i.t. After he just had to put a sleeping-gas-filled muzzle on Darkeyes.
Cookie was still fast asleep. He would be asleep for at least 5 hours.

*Human*

The woman yawned, though she had woken up from a nap not that long a go, so she wasn't about to fall asleep yet. She looked over to where Cookie had been, though he wasn't there. The woman stood up, and caught site of the man. She asked,
[Who are you? What are you doing with the wolves, and pup?]
The woman opedn the kennel door, and took the mask off of Darkeyes. She gave him a pat, and took a needle out of her pocket. She inserted the needle into Darkeyes, and let the fluide go into him, he would be awake in a few minutes. The woman walked out of the kennel, and started calling for Cookie, though she never left the kennel door. She yawned again, and looked around, the cold air of winter had been keeping her awake.

Human

He looked at her. "Who are you? You don't work here that's for sure." He said.

Darkeyes*Taipa

Darkeyes eyed the woman confusedly, not understanding her language. He could see that see was speaking to someone, and heard a deep voice respond in kind, but he was not suspicious because he had only met the friendly woman, and assumed that he was in a place of people who loved wolves, and was unconcerned.

Taipa actually came right up to the fence and planted a lick on the woman's hand through the wire, letting out a happy yip.

*Human*

The woman glaired at him,
[Of coarse I do, I'm the one who keeps the animals healthy for their next exerement! Who are you? Leave before I call security!]
The woman pulled her hand away from the fence, not that she didn't apprisiate the pup's gesture, it was just that she was angry that one would tress pass.

Human

He returned her glare.
[Well then, their experiment is in two days! ]
He said angrily.

*Human*

The woman nodded, and said,
[The pup is almost fully heald, she should be ready by then.]
The woman sighed, and looked around again, calling,
[Here puppy, come here little golden puppy!]

Cookie*Human

[That golden? I'm taking him back to woodland farm...Maybe. ] He said.

Cookie was still fast asleep and would not wake up.

Darkeyes*Taipa

Darkeyes began to growl, hearing the tense tone in the woman's voice. Coming up to the fence and shoving Taipa in back of him, he began to back away to the far end of the pen, away from whatever was making the woman frightened.

Taipa allowed herself to be backed away, wondering what was going on.

Human*Cookie

He did not let Cookie go. Instead, he took Cookie to the Lab. To be experimented on.....

Cookie was awake by now, and was biting at the bars. He soon gave up.

*Human*

A Couple of days after, the woman walked to the wolves, and gave them a light smile.
The woman took a tranquilizer gun, nelt down. She loaded it up, and took her aim. She pulled the trigger, and went to Darkeyes. She pulled the trigger again, and looked at see if she got them.

Darkeyes*Taipa

Darkeyes and Taipa were both knocked out immediately, because neither dodged because they trusted her.

Human

The human took the two to the lab in a crate, since they were asleep.
