Tikana, Tikal

Tikana nudged her two pups awake and walked outside and streatched.

Tikal awoke and ran outside. The DNA change was showing now for she had shorter legs, a slender muzzle and a more flexible spine. She ran back n and tugged Remances ear. "Wake up!: She yipped and yapped and ran outside. She leapt on the fence cimbing back and forth for the DNA change had made her a good climber. She then suddenly falls but her flexible spine allows her to turn onto her legs. She landed on them and since they were short and the fall wasnt that great she was fine. She giggled.

Remnance

*opensz one eye. everything was large about him. standing up he stretched and steppedd out she shook everything. taking in deep breathes for his large lungs he stood there getting used to the sunshine.*

Tikana, Tikal

Tikal smiled and yipped at her brother and tackled him playfully not giving him a chanc to fully wake.

Tikana smirked slightly. "Give him a chance to wake." Sh said makeing Tikal sigh and get off.

*when she lept on him he flipped back over now over her. he growled playfully.*

Tikal

She grins as her brother hovers over he. He was much larger. As shes pinned she growls playfully and nips at his chest.

*he nips back playfully at her paws.*

Tikal

She grins and grabs her brothers ear and rolls releasing it. She leaps up and runs circles around him befor tackling him playfully once more. Then she smells meat in a bucket and stands and runs over. "What is it?" She said. She hadent eaten meat befor. She had seen it but she had never really thought about it befor. SHe licks it. "It tastes good!"

*he pads over after their playing. he licks he meat.* it is good! *he grabs a chunk and lays down to eat it.*

Tikal, Tikana

Tikana ate from a different bucket and cleaned her fur when finished and smiled watching her pups eat.

Tikal grinned and pulled out a large piece and chewed on it as well slowly eating small pieces. "Yummy!" She yips happily.

*Lab Assistants*

Two humans walked over to the Mill and looked in the section where Tikana and her pups were. They were glad to see that both pups were alive and seemed healthy. Being a new experiment, they weren't sure what would happen, but they saw all turned out well. The two men cautiously opened the gate and walked into the kennel. They both knelt down and waited to see if the pups or Tikana would come over to them. A third hunan soon arived and stood with a notebook on the other side of tfhe fence, watching the three caines.

*starting a low growl in his throaght it was louder then most though. he held his head protectivley over his new found favorite food other than milk.*

Tikana, Tikal

Tikana watched but didnt go near the humans. "Be careful." She warned her pups.

Tikal didnt heed her mothers words to well for she inched closer wanting to see the humans better. She had never seen them so close befor and this was her chance.

*Lab Assistants*

One man held out his hand, trying to pet Tikal. He also spoke in a friendly voice, trying to entice her closer.

The other man looked from Tikana to Remnance. He frowned slightly, then said something to the man on the other side of the fence. He started writing stuff down, mainly on the behavior and apperance of the two pups. Although they figured the pups were too small to do anything to yet, they had plans for them later.

Tikana, Tikal

Tikal yipped and let the human pet her. "Mom what do you mean be careful?" She asks.

Tikana snarled. "Tikal come back here." She said to her daughter while snarling at the humnans.

Tikal briskly sprinted over to her mother wondering why she got so mad. "They dont seem bad." She says.

*finishing the meat he followed tikal. he would protect her if they tried to do anything to her.*

*Lab Assistants*

The man frowned and said a sharp word to Tikana, but he wasn't about to approach her. He spoke again to the man behind the fence while pointing at Tikal. Then he said something else while glancing at Remnance. Both men stood and left the kennel; they would be back by nightfall though.

Tikana, Tikal

Tikana sighed relif when the left and nuzzle Remanence and Tikal. It was getting dark so she nudged both of them. "Come lets go sleep for now." She said.

Tikal chased a cricket. "But mom..."

"Ok just a few more minutes you two then meet me inside." She said yawning and she went inside the doghouse drifting to sleep. SHe was watching the pups but eventually closed her eyes fully. She was tired from the long day.

"Remeance I bet I can catch more then you!" Tikal laughs challangingly pouncing on on cricket.

*smiles* uh uh i don't think so. if those humans come back i'll protect you *he started to pounce on crickets.*

*Humans*

It wasn't until later when the humans returned. They had watched the pups through a nearby building, and saw that Tikana had gone to sleep.

One human had noticed how Remnance had guarded his food, so he thought he'd use that to lure the pup towards him. They didn't want to tranquilize the pup though, because they wanted to do a few tests on them. Two men approached the kennel so quietly it would be hard for anyone to hear them. Once they reached the fence, one human stuck a peice of meat through the fence and waited; hoping Remnance would come closer. The second human had noted Tika's curiousity; or that's what he assumed. He waited to see if she would come to the fence as well. The darkness made it hard to tell what the humans had with them.

*letting out a growl as his strong sense of smeel told him something wazs up. he steped infront of tikal.* don't go sister they mean evil. get mum

Tikal

She wasnt stupid or a fool but was a little to curious for her own good. She smirked. "Dont worry!" She said and ran over jumping on the fence and climbing to the top. "See they cant get me up here! I am above them! They probably cant climb." She says and laughs. She looks at them curiously but keeps her grip on the fence with her small legs.

*Humans*

They were utterly surprised by Tikals agility, and almost failed to act and do what they had set out to. When Tikal reached the top of the fence, one human stood up and extended his noose-pole which he had hid behind him. Before Tikal could get away, the loop of the rope had gone around her neck. The man lifted the pole up now, to lift the pup over the fence.

The other human watched Remnance critically, waiting to see if he would come any closer.

*he let out ferocius barks to his mother. before growlign and snarling as he ran to attack the fence.*

Tikana, Tikal

Tikana hears her son and awakes. She shakes the sleepyness from her eyes and body and runs out snarling.

Tikal was easily pullyed over the fence but was getting chocked by the noose pole since the man hadent put her on the ground yet. She whimpers cowerdly for she didnt know what to do for unlike her brother she didnt lash out to often.

Tikana. Saw and rushed at the fence as well snarling. She barks viciously. "Let her go! Leave my pups alone!" She barks out of rage knowing she couldent do much behind bars. She could still protect Remeance and hope Tikal would be ok so she stands infront of him defensivly dareing them to enter. She bares her fangs and snarls loudly.

*Humans*

The man brought the noose-pole down, satisfide with catching at least one pup. They would try to get Remnance later. Leaving the two in their kennel, the humans led Tikal to the Laboratory.
