She awakens and sits. She paces. "Tikal... Remanance..."
Remnance
*crashing through the woods the large hybrid skidded to a stop at the fence. he whined* mother you have to get out of here. they do bad things. his large muzzle pushed on the lock*
*Humans*
The humans had long since been notified that Remnance had gotten away from his previous master. Seeing that he had come back to the Mill, they knew they had to catch him.
Knowing his aggressive nature, a band of four humans came outside. One had a chain, and the others had noose poles.
Remnance
*his ears swivled as he heard their footsteps. he sturned showing his teeth. he wouldn't stand for this. they kept his mother locked up and alone.he charged them but going from side to side making it harder on the humans. the way he was built made him faster.*
*Humans*
The man with the chain backed off a bit, since his only weapon was a chain, and that wasn't much of a weapon against Remnance.
The others bunched together, a bit fearful of the charging brute. For all their intelligence in techknowledgy, they lacked quick reflexes and strength which Remnance had. As he came closer, they swung their poles at him, trying to hit him and keep him away.
Remnance
*one of the poles missed him by centimeters.baring his fangs he lunged this time to get at their throats*
*Humans*
As much as they were swining their poles, Remnance was able to get to the throat of one man. Unable to get a noose around his head while he had the man's throat, they began to swing the poles viciously at the canine's back.
Remnance
*as he got a hold of the mans neck he latched on not letting go. he started to taste the mans blood in his jaws. and growled startign to shake it. he felt the poles on his back and ignored the pain. shakign off. he knew it would leave bruises but those were mere injurys.*
*Humans*
The man's frail neck couldn't hold up to such abuse. Vital veins and muscels were severed and his windpipe was nearly torn completely out. The man fell back with a thud and the noose-pole dropped from his hands. He made a few gurgling, gasping noises before his body went limp.
Shocked by the dreadful sight of so much blood and the man's mangled throat, the other three attack Remnance much fiercer than before. The man with the chain attempts to get it around the hybrid's head or muzzle.
While one man beats and jabs his pole relentless at Remnance, the other man tries to get the loop around one of the hybrid's legs.
Remnance
*letting go he lowered his head showing his fangs. humans hated that. he kept his head down protecting his neck in instinct.he suddenly lunged and tried to grab the pole that kept jabbing at him. a growl came deep from his throaght.*
*Humans*
The man nearly got the chain around Remnance's neck, but the hybrid went down too quickly. Just as Remnance was able to grab one of the poles, the other man got the noose around one front paw. He yanked back hard, trying to pull the large canid off his feet and cause much pain to the area.
Remnance
*he felt himself fall and yelped letting go of the pole. he snarled and tried to stand back up. the should was bruised but he managed he showed his fangs and backed up from the humans. he waited for their reaction.*
*Humans*
The loop of the noose pole was still tight around his paw, but the pole had been wrenched from the man's grasp. Quickly, the man leaned down to try and pick the pole back up before Remnance might chew the cord off his paw...
The other man also went forward to pick up the pole that Remance had pulled from his hands.
The man with the chains was a bit indecisive. The bared fangs were very intimidating to him, and he knew it would be too risky to try and put the chain around his neck. Instead, the man raised his hands up and shook the chain and yelled at Remance, trying to scare him so he wouldn't attack.
Remnance
*he put his head down at the pole rope and tried to bite at it. he couldn't without biting his own paw off. he didn't want that. the chains scared him a bit and he backed up a bit the pole he was dragging slowing him down.*
*Humans*
The first man was able to retrieve his pole. He tried again to get the noose around Remnance's muzzle or neck...
The other man nabbed the pole that was squeezing Remnance's paw. Without mercy, he yanked back as hard as he could to try and throw the hybrid off balance. Such force might also break the bones in his paw or wrist.
The chain man waited anxiously beside the other two men, ready to use his chain once the hybrid was more secured.
Remnance
*he felt himself slip again and more pain came to his paw. it was broken and he knew it. he started to chew on the rope that held his paw with mercy tohimself. his paw was bloodied up b
The chain-man used a walky-talky and called for back up from other humans. They would be out soon.
With his noose-pole broken, the man couldn't catch Remnance. But he could use the pole as a weapon, and that's just what he intended on doing. Raising it up high, he swung it down at the hybrid's head.
The other man spoke out in frustrated words as Remnance sprung back again. But by the way he was acting, the man realized the paw was broken. Forming a plan, the man rushed at Remnance suddenly, keeping his noose low...
Remnance
*he smirked to himself and since the man was going full speed he twisted his body sideways and scooted to the side infront of his feet. the other pole man would hit the man on the head is didn't stop. he was now quiker with the noose off his paw.*
*Humans*
Not only did the rushing pole man get wacked over the head, he also tripped right over Remnance as the hybrid scooted infront of him. The man scrambled frantically to pick himself up.
The other man mumbled some words under his breath and reached over to help the other man up. He held his pole close to his body, trying to make somewhat of a shield out of it if Remnance tried to attack.
The chain man decided to try and make the best out of the confusion. Hoping that Remnance's attention was on the other two, he came quickly forward and once more tried to get the chain around the hybrid's neck or muzzle...
Remnance
*he smirked to himself at the two humans and confusion. he growled even more lowering his head once again in a aggravated manner. this was stupid. these humans should jsut run away scared while they had the chance. he backed up fomr the man with the chain.*
*Humans*
The chain man quickly backed off when he realized his attempt was futile. The other man had gotten up and the three stood warily with their weapons in hand. For an illegally run lab, budgets were low and so they hired the cheapest people avalible to work as 'dog catchers'. But these humans had had enough with Remnance. The three of them had been beaten by a single hybrid.
Now back-up had arrived in the form of a man with a tranquilizer gun. The man came sprinting over to the beaten group and aimed his gun at Remnance, then fired...
Remnance
*the shot anger him as he felt the dart graze his side. he lowered his head and snarled he took a few steps forward trying to scare them and make the run. he changed his pace to a run but it was zig zag now the the man had brought their needle gun.*
*Humans*
The man didn't have time to reload for another shot. They all took a step back when he stepped forward. And when he began to run, they did as well, although they were running away from him as fast as they could. They were heading back to a nearby building where the dartgun-man had come out of. From there, they could reload the gun in safety. They weren't too brave or bright when it came to dealing with powerful, clever dogs.
Remnance
*he followed them then cut infront of them lunging at the dart gun man. he had to get him down and destroy the gun to make it less dangerous. his jaws snapped shut somewhere on something on the man he didn't know where.*
*Humans*
Remnance's jaws clamped shut not only over the gun, but also over some of the man's fingers. Because the men were going so fast, they didn't have time to slow down or veer out of the way before Remnance cut infront of them. The dartgun-man and the two pole-men tripped right over the large hybrid. Remnance would be bruised where their knees slammed into his side and knocked down as the fell on him. But that also mangled the fingers of the dartgun-man and pulled the gun from his hands.
Remnance
*he crunched down on the gun with hisd mighty jaws the humans had given him from the exsperiment and ruined it so it could no longer be used. he dropped it and lunged at the man that was before him.*
*Humans*
The chain-man, scared witless, made it to the building and quickly entered it. One of the pole man scrambled up as well, finding shelter in the building. The the 'poor' gun-man was targeted by Remnance's next attack. With his only weapon rendered useless and his fingers on one hand crushed and mangled, he was little match against the mighty hybrid. Before he could pick himself up, he was tackled down. There was no way to protect himself if Remnance was to go stright for the throat or elsewhere.
The other pole man had gotten up. Unlike the other two cowardly humans, he decided to help out the stricken gun-man. He lunged at Remnance and tried to wrap his arms around the canine's throat.
Remnance
*he lunged for the mans open throagt and latched himself on. he felt arms around his throagt and bit harder on the mens neck and let go to let him bleed to death or something else unless he was already dead. he suddenly twisted at the other man to turn on him and get his neck since his arms where around his furry neck.*
*Humans*
The dart-gun man was killed very quickly. The other man tried to twist out of Remnance's way, but was far too late. The hybrid's large jaws seized his throat and held the man's life at their mercy. A quick bite would kill him before he could do anything.
The other two men were gathering up other people and dart guns. Remnance would be no match for the many humans that would come out soon...
Remnance
*he snapped the mans neck quikly and left. he would have to get hid mother another time. at as time when the humans ere to tired to know he was there. he was gone before you blinked*
