The woman led the coyote in at the end of a rope. Trusting her not to bite, she lifted her up onto a table and removed the rope from her neck. Now three other humans came over, and two held the coyote's head while another put a gas mask up to it. They held it up long enough to make Silva Myst drowzy and easy to hold down, because they doughted she would sit still while they removed the heavy casts.

Once Silva Myst was drowsy enough not to resist, two humans laid her down on the table and held her their while the other human used a loud saw to cut through the casts. Within a few minutes, both casts had been removed. The fur on her legs was rather rumpled and unkept looking from being in the casts for so long, but they would be better looking in a few days. After checking over the paws, they found that they had healed very well, and there were no infections.

Now they placed the still out-of-it coyote on the ground. The sedative should wear off within a few moments, and they wanted to see how she would walk with her claws. And to make sure she didn't go running around in the laboratory, they put the rope back around her neck.

Silva Myst

She hadent liked the loud noise when her casts were sawed off but when she was put on the ground she shook away the drowsyness and took a step. It felt a bit weird that metal claws replaced her nateral ones. SHe sniffed them and licked them once carefully though she could strangley feel with them. She walked around a bit walking weird at first but after a minute or two she was used to it more and walked normally.

They watched as she grew use to the claws. Feeling that the paws had healed enough, the woman tugged on the rope that was around Silva Myst's neck, and led her out of the Laboratory. With the help of another human, they loaded her into a crate in the back of a truck and drove off. They headed for Croal Mountains.
