Two humans came in, bringing the hybrid Tikal by the end of a noose-pole. Now they lifted the pup up onto a table by merely lifting the noose-pole up. After most-likey choking the hapless pup again, one man quickly grabbed her head, holding his hands close to her muzzle. If she didn't try to bite, they wouldn't put a muzzle on. But if she did try to bite, all the man had to do was move his hands down a little to clamp around her lean muzzle.

The first thing they did was to take a blood sample, then weigh her. They checked her eyes and felt her legs and back to see how the joints and bones felt. They spoke excitedly to each other; it seemed the experiment was a success! They still hadn't come up with their own name for her, but they would soon.

Now one man petted her on the head, seeing how she would react.

Tikal

She whimpered a bit wanting her mom. Unlike her brother she wasnt vicious yet more curious and scared. When he pet her head she looked up but didnt do much. She barked once but did no more.

They looked about at each other and nodded their heads in approval. She was a good canidate for one of their experiments; to be released into the wild, when she was a bit older. They didn't want to release any overly aggressive canines into the wild, in fear of having them attack people and possibly draw attention to the not-so-legal activities at the Nefaryous Laboratory. One man used a large needle to insert a tracking chip in Tikal's scruff, just under the skin. Then they carride her back to the Mill.
