Julie & *Scientists*

Julie carried in the drugged Karai and set her on the table that Pheral had previously been occuppying. Then she left, leaving the scientists to do their work.

Along the lines of what they did to Desmon, their current field of research delved into the workings of the brain. They were always interested in finding ways to alter the canines so they would be better fighters, but that's not what they had planned for this mother. Instead, they were going to see how this particular opperation affected her in a social way with other wolves.

They shaved a patch of fur away from the side of her head, above where her ears were. Using very tiny, precise instruments, they cut down through the skull and to the brain within to reach the temperal lobe. A tiny section was burned away. It did not take long, and soon they had the wound stitched up.

A noose was placed around her neck as they gave her a reversal drug to wake up. They had to be sure she came out of the ansethisia alright before the went on to the next phase of their experiments. For the time being, Karai would not experience any changes except for the pain where they made the incision.

Karai

Karai was completely unaware as they began to shave the beautiful silver fur, adding yet another scar to her already marked body. When the reversal drug finally began to take effect, the good eye opened and peered around at them all, turning her head to see everyone in the room. A growl resounded and she considered jumping down from the table, but the pain in her head and the noose around her neck convinced her otherwise, and she settled with a vicious snap at the air, snarling.

*Humans*

Seeing that she was fine, Julie was giving the noose pole to lead the wolf back outside. The woman tugged at the pole, moving quickly. If she was forced too, she'd drag Karai all the way back to the Fenced Run.

Karai

Karai dragged on the lead for the first few yards, but after realizing the she wasn't getting away and it was making her head hurt worse, she gave in and rose, trotting to keep up.
