*Humans*
The large man brought Arya in and set her down on a table. As he held her, two assistants came forward and tied her down, making sure to tie up her muzzle and secure each of her legs. This time, she wasn't going to be sedated.
A tray of needles were brought out, each one filled with a colorless liquid. There was also a jar of the liquid, and some swabs. First off, a scientist dabbed one of the swabs in the colorless solution until it was thoroughly soaked. Then he held it fight in front of Arya's nose, forcing her to breath in the fumes of the strange liquid. There was a faint, sickly-sweet smell about the liquid, but it was hard to detect. Now they waited to see whether or not this liquid would affect Arya's breathing or anything like that.
Arya
Arya didn't struggle. She knew better. She smelled the liquid. It had a soft sent of sweetness. It reminded her of the flowers she had once romped through with her pack. After a few minutes, her head felt light headed and she started to gag. What was happening to her? Her breathing quickened and she started to sweat. She wanted more of the scent. She inhaled and then, it slowed down. She felt dizzy and her breath could barely be heard as she slipped out of conciousness.
*Another Human*
Another Human walked in to help. She was new here. She looked at the wolf and then at the other people. "What can I do to help?" She asked.
*Human*
The woman walked into the room, and say the wolf pass out.
[What are you idiots doing? Get that thing away from her nose!]
The woman pushed the person away who had the strange liquid, and put an oxagen mask over the wolf's muzzel, allowing her to breath normally.
Arya
Arya awoke with a start and whimpered softly, trying not tot remember what had just happened. She looked up gratefully at the human. she sighed and then looked at the other humans. She crinkled her nose just a bit, and sneezed. She then remained silent, usure and scared of what they were going to do next. She was their test subject, their model. They didn't care whether she lived or not.
*Humans*
The man scowled, "Excuse me, but we're running an experiment here. If you're concerned for their welbeing, then I don't know what you're doing here." The man shook his head and handed a notebook and pen to the first person who had come in, "Wright done the subject's symptoms and responses to the tests. Be thorough." The man took up the vile of clear liquid and squeezed some into a small dropper. He held the dropper over Arya's left eye, and while one of the prior assistants kept the canine's eye open, he added a drop and waited to see what would happen.
Arya
She winced as the drop hit her eye, and then she felt a surge of shocking pain. She thrashed about, trying to break free of the pain. she closed her eyes and banged her head around. She didn't like this pain, though she was glad that it didn't make her pass out like the last liquid, and she was grateful. She continued to thrash about, yelping with pain.
*Human*
The woman took out a dropper from her pocket, and squired the liquid in the dogs eye. She took out a vile of lavander oil, and took off the dog's mask. He placed it infront of the dog, and looked at the dog's eye to see if the liquid was helping the dog, wich is what it was supposed to do.
[You'd better take care of these subjects better, we only have a limited supply! We can't just conger them up! She is one of the most well behaved dogs here, I don't think it would be very easy to try and do experements on animals who are blood thirsty, visiouse, hate humans, and who thrash around, trying to escape, with, or without the straps!]
The woman grabbed the clipboard from ther person, and looked at it. Not seeing were it said what it was for, she asked,
[So what is this thing your doing with her anyway, whatever t is, it's not very useful!]
Arya
Arya sighed as the pain stopped. She whimpered softly as the pain was still there. She sighed in releif, and looked greatfully at the human. She adjusted her weight carefully, aware that the humans could hurt her if she made too much noise. She sneezed and then started to lick her chops, hungry.
*Another Human*
The woman glanced at the other, mostly the other woman. She nodded and got a little closer to the wolf. When no one was looking, she held out a treat for Arya.
*Human*
He snatched the notebook away, he scowl growing darker by the minute, "Listen, if you want a job here, listen to your superiors. And don't get too attatched to any of them. With all the bounties for wolves out there, we can find plenty of subjects, and most can be beaten into submission." Furious, the man began to scribble down some notes, not noticing the second woman handing Arya a treat.
The angry guy stalked over to a mini fridge and took out a peice of meat. Into it, he injected some of the liquid, for he needed to know how it would affect her if ingested. "Here, you want to help her? She looks hungery." And the man handed the tainted meat to the woman, looking rather reproachful still.
*Another Human*
She hid the treat and quickly snacthed the meat out of his hand.
"But first, what was that liquid you injected in the meat?" She looked at Ayra. She was being well behaved.
*Human*
He turned sharply on the woman, "Excuse me, but who's in charge here? Do you want a job, or not?" His words were harsh and irritated. "But if it will make you two work any faster, the liquid is a new chemical being tested for folicle graphing and transplanting." His voice was still rather heated, but he relented enough to explain a bit more, "It will hopefully allow us to transplant fur from one species to another. Now there, is that good enough for you? Give her the meat already! If this is a successful chemical, which we'll be testing on soon enough, we need to know what kind of warning lables to put on it."
*Another Human*
She looked at the other woman. She would not do that now. She would give the treat. When they were not looking, their backs turned, she secretly held out the treat to Arya.
*Human*
The woman mumbled something under her breath, and took the meat.
She look at it, and saw it was begining to turn green.
She held it out, and asked,
[Is it supposed to do this?]
*Human*
He grabbed the meat up, turning it around in his hands while offering a curse, "How am I suppose to know? Alright, fine! We're finished testing today. But tomorrow, you'd better leave your sympathy home, because the real experiment is going to be preformed." The man stormed over to a nearby trashcan and chucked the meat in it with emphasize. Without even looking over to the women, he growled out before leaving, "You can put her back in her pen now."
*Another Human*
She nodded and picked up Ayra and put her in her cage. She carried the cage out to the Fenced runs.
