*Humans*

Three humans hauled the sedated wolf into the room and placed her on a table. They placed a micro chip into the nape of her neck, then collected a blood sample. They checked her pulse and took measurements, recording everything down in a notebook.

When they were finished with that, the scientists hauled the she-wolf into a small cage on the ground. It was all wire and large enough for her to stand and turn about, but that was about it. They gave her a reversal drug so that she would wake up and then they waited for her to come too.

Shadow

The wolfess opened her eyes. They stood out like embers against her black coat. She scented the area. Humans. She struggled to get her legs up underneath her, as she groggily stood. She shook her coat, but fell onto the wall of the cage, which caught her.

Her eyes spotted the humans, she let a low growl.

*Humans*

A man knelt down in front of the cage and peered in. He spoked to his fellow workers before waving his hand just in front of Shadow, but just out of her reach through the bars. He watched carefully for her reaction.

Shadow

The black wolfess bore her pearl daggers. She stuck her nose through the bars, slamming her face into it, trying to attack the human. Her eyes wrote the song of death, and her growls of aggression backed up her hatred.

*Humans*

The hand was quickly withdrawn as the man laughed lightly, mocking her anger. Still they spoke. Another human got a rod and jabbed Shadow with it, trying to see just how angry he could make her. They had a plan of what they were going to use her for... but they just had to make sure of some things first.

Shadow

She shifted around the rod, and jumped to get over it. She plastered her ears against her head.

Forbidden time ran and lunged onto the human with the rod. His teeth sinking into the humans shoulder.

*Humans*

A warning shout was issued by one of the humans as Forbidden entered the room. While he leapt, one of the other humans had already grabbed up a knife that was laying on a side table. He swung the sharp instrument and buried it deep into Forbidden's flesh, tearing into his liver and knocking him down before he could touch the other man. Luckily for Forbidden, this wasn't a fatal wound, although it would bleed a lot and leave him weak.

"Who left the blasted door open?" The man raged, drawing back the bloodied knife and readying it for another swing.

The rod man swung around, nearly wacking another man with it as he did so. "Must have been the wind. We need a lock on that thing..." he said, glancing to the open door and then to Forbidden. The humans advanced on the wounded wolf, ready to beat him into submission if he didn't flee their wrath...

Forbidden and Shadow

The wolf attacked the man again, despite the bleeding wound that dyed his pelt a crimson red.

Shadow nosed at the lock on the cage, unable to unlatch it.

*Humans*

Now the other man wielded his rod against Forbidden, striking the wolf on the head so hard that it sent the lupine to the cold floor in a daze before he could lay his fangs on any flesh. These humans were all too use to being attacked; they knew how to handle themselves.

The third man grabbed a needle and hurriedly filled it with a sedative. He than ran over and tried to jab it into Forbidden's neck so that the wolf would fall to sleep. For the moment, they all igorned Shadow since she would be no threat to them. They had the perfect idea of what they'd do with these two later on.

Shadow

She slammed against the cage. She was outraged. She had to get out of here.

*Humans*

Forbidden was belted harshly with the pole while another human hurriedly laced a roped about his neck. They dragged him out to the Fenced Runs.

Shadow was taken to the Pit.
