*Humans*

The humans dragged in one of their newest victims; Aleu. She was brought over to one of the tables where three other humans were gathered. While the one man tried to force her to the ground using the noose-pole, another one tried to get a muzzle on her.

.aleu.

.as the men dragged the canine into the large building, she felt a emotion she rarely felt-fear. a cold chill ran up her spine, and she tucked her tail tightly against her legs as she was pulled in, still struggling, still thrashing about. she saw the others, and knew that they were waiting for her. she pulled back, but the man was stronger. she was pulled towards the table, and she pinned her ears. her green eyes widened in fear, then a flash of anger flew through them. she snapped at the man who held the muzzle, her fangs grabbing at him. she lunged forward, pulling. then she stopped and began to back away, stretching her neck until she yelped quietly in pain. no! she was no test subject! she would escape...she would live through this, and her revenge would be sweet. yes, sweet.

The man yelled as her fangs grazed his skin and blood swelled up from the furrows. As the wounded man spoke out harshly and examined his hand, the pole-man delivered undo punishment to the wolf. While he tightend the pole to the point of nearly choking Aleu.

Another man offered her a swift, powerful kick to the side that she couldn't defend from since she was imprisoned by the neck and the man held the pole so tightly. He kicked her a second time and laughed at her fear and anger. The pole man continued to tighten the loop so she would soon go unconscious.

.the canine snarled at the man's yell, then shrank back. suddenly she felt the already-tight loop around her neck grow tighter. terrified, she thrashed about, gasping for breath. she barely felt the man's kicks and heard only a whisper of his laughter as she fell, her world fading into darkness and she sank to the ground...

*Scientists*

The man was about to give her another kick as she sank into unconsciousness, but another human held him back. "Enough, we need her alive for testing. And preferably nearer life than death." he said sarcastically. Slipping the muzzle on incase she came around again, they hauled her up onto the table. Using straps they bound her legs and neck to the table so she couldn't get away. They took a sample of blood to be tested for illnesses and such, as their experiment on her would require such things. Then they injected her with a disease known as canine ehrlichiosis. She would become listless, not feel like eatting, and develope a sore neck over a few days. Now they carried her to the Mill.
