Stretching along an eastern portion of the Valley are the La'Tika Sandhills, a vast landscape of shallow dunes, scattered lakes, and silty earth. This swath of marshland is home to a vast array of birds and aquatic life, and provides an ample source of food and water to support a diverse range of larger animals as well. Mule and whitetails are particularly abundant here.

As ideallic as the Sandhills are, they do pose dangers to those uninitiated. Humans frequently come here to hunt, and hidden limestone sinkholes can be a deathtrap to those that fall into their depths. And during dry spells, fierce winds can kick up blinding sandstorms large enough to bring Atroe City to a standstill.
