Jericho Mont'governe
Three. Three months now since she last saw home, her bed, her room, her favorite tree that overlooked the ocean, her entire childhood. It was all gone, left in the dust of her past. It wasn't as if she had run away, she had liked her home. It was home. But all good things must come to an end right? Now all Jericho had left was her clothes, her mothers silver charm bracelet and her father's handmade violin.
The streets, front yards and alleys had become her home. She had learned very quickly not to stay in one place for more than one night; people started getting suspicious and calling authorities she did not want to tangle with. Of course, not playing the violin at 4 in the morning might have helped in avoiding such complications if only the poor girl had not been so attached to the graceful instrument. A small language barrier always got in the way of course, unfortunately that's what happens when you are raised in one world and brought into another. You become the alien breed.
On this particular night, Jericho found herself in a small town that had seemingly appeared out of nowhere about halfway through the day. Once she had satisfied her exploring needs, she found herself finally running out of steam in front of what looked like a mansion, or a palace even. Normally her choice of bedding for the night would be somewhere secluded and quiet. Tonight though, Jericho figured the house was so big it would be difficult to spot her from within, especially in the dark. So, with a defeated sigh she hunted down a nice big tree with plenty of fat branches, hung her blanket-tent and mozied on up the trunk of the tree with her fiddle strapped safely to her back.
Jericho singled out the highest branch with the best view and settled herself right down with her bare feet dangling off the side. She carefully took her lovely musical device from its confines and began to play. It wasn't some skippy little tune, it wasn't something from a barn raising, what came from her little black fiddle was a haunting, soulful, entrancing lullaby. It filled the senses with wonder and realization. The music she created put the night to sleep with it's soft, lulling, melodies. To Jericho, as long as this fiddle remained in her possession things like a home and shelter would never trouble her. The fiddle put her mind to ease. A ten year old living alone with no family left in the world. All she needed was her music.

Unfortunatly, or maybe fortunatly, for Jericho she was playing right into the door way of Alex's bedroom. Over three hundred windows and doors in the damned place, and she finds the only one with the door open and a balcony to stand on. Alex loved music, and hearing the haunting tune that Jericho was playing brought the dainty brunette outside. She leaned against the doorway, listening to the sounds of the fiddle until the sound faded into the night. You know... It's much more comfortable inside. She didn't sound angry. Indeed, she sounded amused at the thought of someone sitting up perched in her willow tree. She couldn't see Jericho, but its not like trees suddenly began singing. Someone was up there, and Alex wasn't about to let someone fall asleep in the tree and possibly fall out and get her. You can come inside. We don't bite. She was rather pretty, with the moon light bathing her skin in silver rays. Her dark hair contrasted with her pale skin and bright eyes, making her look ethereal. She turned her light on, casting shadows everywhere. Come on. Get in here, before you freeze to death.
