She wraps those hands around that pole
She licks those lips and off we go
She takes it off nice and slow
'Cause that's porn star dancing

Beneath the floor of the stable, was an underground... Compartment? Basement? It's so hard to explain. Anyways. Its under the floor. It's dark. And inside of it, lay Hunter. Her clothes were in tatters, her entire body was black and blue. To top it off, she was extremely sick. Her breathing was ragged and shallow as though she couldn't get enough air, and she was running a high fever. She coughed, rattling deep through her chest. She sounded as though she were on her death bed. And watching all of this was the beautiful Alex. She sat on a chair wearing impeccable clothes. Nothing was out of place on her, her hair a perfect tousled mess. She looked like a super model. And yet she had fallen into the wrong crowd. Well. Sort of. Alex had always been a bad girl. Just not this bad. She flipped open her cell phone. Where are you? She hissed. She was starting to get cold. And if she was gone to long, Toni would begin to notice. Damian had better hurry up. She wasn't going to stay here forever.

She don't play nice, she makes me beg
She drops that dress around her legs
And I'm sittin' right by the stage
For this porn star dancing

Damian; Natasha

are you hungry?
are you sick?
are you begging for a break?

are you sweet?
are you fresh?
are you strung up by the wrists?

we want the young blood

are you fracturing?
are you torn at the seams?
would you do anything?
flea-bitten? motheaten?

we suck young blood
we suck young blood

won't let the creeping ivy
won't let the nervous bury me
our veins are thin
our rivers poisoned

we want the sweet meats
we want the young blood

There were footsteps up above. Heavy footsteps, making no attempt to be stealthy. Dust fell in the basement as he stomped. He seemed to be going at a quickened pace, but then suddenly stopped by the door. It swung open after a few seconds and Damian dropped down into the basement.
Natasha, standing in the corner, was a bit surprised, and clearly a bit nervous too. Her fears were actualized when Damian grabbed the young woman, his own daughter, and threw her against the wall where she then hit her head, causing her to yelp like a scared dog.
"Thanks to you," Damian began in a thick Russian accent, "we have likely been compromised. How many times have I told you to stay away from that bloody stupid blue-haired bitch?" Natasha mistakenly shared some information with Kestrel, and, well, Kestrel couldn't keep a secret, nor was she very cautious.
"Sorry..." Natasha whimpered, "I'm really sorry... Please don't hit me again..."
Damian shook his head, then turned his attention to Alex. "Be prepared. We may get visitors within the next few days." His eyes landed on Hunter. "Shut up." He said in response to her coughing. He was cold. He was heartless. He didn't give a damn about anybody besides himself.

Alex's eyebrows raised and she stood slowly, walking with a dancer's grace towards a table in the corner. From it she picked up a throwing knife twirling it over her fingers nimbling. Tsk, tsk, Damian... Such a temper. You should know better then to trust a girl Alex held herself above everyone else. She was wealthy. She had hundred thousand dollar horses, cars that would make every boy drool. A house that would make a mere celebrity weep with envy. To top it all off, she was beautiful. Striking features, black hair, a models body. She was curved in all the right places, and she seemed to ooze sex and danger. No more hitting the hired help, Damian. She said in a mild voice. She looked at him with fearless eyes. Damian would know better then to hit her. Alex had a lot of pull in this city and she wasn't afraid to throw her weight around. She saunter over to Damian and placed a mocking kiss on his lips. Besides. You have her to abuse, remember? She nodded towards Hunter. The girl looked miserable, and deep down inside Alex was liking it. This couldn't be a good sign for someone that ran an orphanage, now could it?

Damian watched Alex walk away, his face, as usual, lacking any emotion. He noticed the knife twirling over the woman's fingers. She could throw it at him right now, but he knew she needed him here. Alive. "I don't trust anybody." He stated gruffly. He didn't like anybody bossing him around, especially a woman. And Alex was one woman he wouldn't touch. He hated her. He hated her too much. He never envied her, nor pictured her in his mind.
"You don't know me. I do what I want." He growled, this time anger showing on his face. He grew enraged when Alex kissed him. He attempted to push her away against the wall.
"Stop it! I hear something!" Natasha whimpered. Indeed, footsteps were heard above. This was not good.

Alex was quick and light on her feet, dancing just out of reach of Damian. But then she heard it to. Her eyes narrowed, and she hit a certain spot on the wall bringing down a key pad. She punched in some numbers, light and quick her fingers dashing across it quickly. A wall fell and flipped out popping out a wall full of weapons of all sorts. Take your pick. I can't be seen. And you won't be dropping names. Her voice had gone cold and dark, and she exited out a door hidden behind the staircase. Alex needed to keep some what of a good name. And Hunter was much to weak to know who Alex was.

Damian; Dimitri

Damian kept his eyes on the ceiling of the basement. There was only one person that could be at this time. Damian suspected that Kestrel had given away their position. Thankfully, Damian knew his son well, and how much Dimitri cared about Hunter and her feelings, and since Hunter seemed to dislike guns, it was only natural that the young man would stick to melee weapons. This would be a one-on-one knife fight. He knew it.
Damian grabbed his choice of a knife; a simple combat knife, but with serrated edges to cause more bleeding. Then he stepped back by Hunter. He was going to love torturing Dimitri, and what better way to do that than by torturing Hunter? "The bitch stays with me, Dimitri!" He yelled up the stairs. "You'll be dead tonight if you come down here!" Still, the footsteps did not stop. In just a moment, Damian's word's were ignored when Dimitri did drop down after swinging to door open violently. He appeared to be slightly disoriented, having not gotten much sleep during the past few days. Dimitri said nothing. Damian slowly turned toward Hunter, then swung his foot in an attempt to kick her. "You see? She's weak. I'm going to kill you, and then there will be nobody to care for poor Hunter." Damian made what might seem like a mistake - he stepped closer toward Dimitri, away from Hunter, prompting Dimitri to quickly throw a throwing knife at Damian. Of course, with Dimitri so disoriented, he had poor aim and Damian was quick to dodge. The knife ended up in the wall...right behind Hunter, so close she could probably reach it.
"This is going to be easy, son. Your time is over. Everything comes to an end. Everybody dies sometime. Who would have thought I'd get to decide who dies when?" Damian had a sadistic smirk on his face while he stepped closer and closer to his son. Dimitri reached to his belt to grab another knife, but he was too slow.

Damian's knife missed Dimitri's vital organs, thankfully for the younger man who still had enough energy to duck - though apparently not quickly enough. The sinister-looking sharp, serrated combat knife went into Dimitri's shoulder. Dimitri yelled and grunted in pain. It all happened so fast, barely three minutes since he originally set foot into the basement.

"You will suffer the same fate as your mother." Damian stepped out of reach of his son. There was still a good chance that he would survive if he got to a hospital quickly enough.
"Hunter..." Dimitri mumbled. "...I'm sorry..." Then he noticed the knife in the wall. After about ten seconds of thinking, reasoning with himself, the angels and demons in his mind arguing, he looked repeatedly from Hunter to the knife, Hunter to the knife, Hunter to the knife... It was a clear message - end it now. Kill Damian. Dimitri could barely breathe, much less move, and Damian was out of his reach. Dimitri hoped to God that Hunter still had enough strength to stab Damian, throw the knife at him, or whatever she could do.

Hunter

The knife was lodged just above her head. She stared up at it, anger turning to rage. She was going to kill the bastard for what he had done to her. She coughed hard as she pulled herself up, her skin a sickly pale and her stomach swollen with child. She pried the knife from the wall, trying to be as quiet as possible. It finally came loose and she used the wall to help turn herself. Staring at the back of Damian's head. Mustering all her strength, she leaned back again the wall for support and took aim, throwing the knife with deadly precision, aiming straight for Damian's spine. As soon as the blade left her finger tips, she sank to the floor exausted and wheezing. She started crawling towards Dimitri, collapsing within reach of him. She was sick. Weak. Malnourished. And pregnant. Both her and Dimitri needed a hospital. And they needed it now.

Dimitri; Damian

Damian had no idea he was going to die tonight. He was sure, dead sure, that it would be Hunter and Dimitri. "These are you last breaths, son, enjoy--" He was cut off when the knife hit his spine, slicing through bones and tearing into his spinal cord. Death was almost immediate. He fell on his knees first, then fell forward next to Dimitri.

It was over. Damian was dead. How was Dimitri supposed to feel? Damian was an evil bastard, but he was Dimitri's father. Damian had such a grip on his son throughout the now young man's whole life that he almost felt the need to mourn. But his pure hate for his father eventually outweighed that, and if he could reach Damian's dead body, he'd stab him again.

"Hunter..." Dimitri mumbled, his green eyes half-closed as if he was about to go to sleep. "This is the way it ends...in a dungeon, dying in the dark..." Normally he'd actually use comforting words, but there was no use for that anymore. There was no hope of comfort here. But he wanted to spend what he believed to be his last moments with Hunter. From a sitting position, he slid down onto his side, trying not to move his left arm, as the knife was in that shoulder. Now closer to Hunter, he reached out and put his arm around her. He started humming a tune, because he absolutely hated silence.

Jaden

It didn't take long before the silence was broken by the sound of footsteps over the heads of the dying couple. Jaden walked down the stairs, taking his time. He saw the dead body of Damian, and Hunter and Dimitri lying in a pool of blood. Shallow breathing and humming alerted him that the two were alive. He looked over to Natasha. Get out of here. I'll clean this up. He took out a gun, and started walking towards Dimitri. He hoped she left quickly. He took a phone out of his pocket, murmured some words into it. You owe me, Dimitri. Keep that in mind. You got that? You owe me. With that, the tall man turned and walked out the door. Not three minutes later, the sound of sirens could be heard. The first to come bounding down the stairs was Eva Montgomery, a doctor at the hospital. Shit. She whispered softly. She started checking vitals, looking at the knife's placement in Dimitri's back. Men came down the stairs shortly and carefully placed the two onto gurneys. Hospital. Quickly! Eva said to them.

Dimitri

I woke up thirsty on an island in the sea
I woke up hungry with hungry cougars surrounding me

I hit the soft spot on the soft spot on my head
It made me tired so I sung from my bed

I'm ready to die
I'm ready to die
I'm ready to die
I'm ready to die

A sword, a switchblade, any way you cut it
I'm not afraid, I know I'm going to get it

Oh maker! (of such fine products
as palm trees, and the dead sea)
Don't pardon me, there's nothing rude
Things conclude, things conclude!

As I slurred that chorus, the ghosts got biggie smalls sounds like a drill
The death sweat suits me
The death threat provides a thrill

I've seen the world, kissed all the pretty girls
I've said my goodbyes and now I'm ready to die.

Dimitri was slowly fading away. He wanted to live, but at the same time, he was ready to die. Thoughts were going through his head, two forces pulling him in opposite directions: live or die? Who would take care of Shaine? What would happen if he just died here? Even he would be missed. But his mind wandered back to Shaine. She needed her parents. Dimitri couldn't die, because then Shaine wouldn't have a father.
Just as his breath was fading, he heard a familiar voice. A voice whose owner he'd just love to kill. "You've had..." he wheezed, "You've had your fun, Jaiden... I owe...nothing...to you..." The three minutes afterward seemed like hours, but he was very relieved once the ambulance came. He grunted and moaned as he was lifted onto the gurney, feeling the sting of the knife in his chest. "Doctor...Viktor...Vol..." He was unable to finish his request for his preferred doctor, but it was quite possible that Eva knew who Doctor Viktor Volkov was, as both Eva and Viktor seemed to be two of the major doctors at Great Springs.
Then there was silence. He made no noise except for quiet gasping and wheezing.
