Tahti/Taija

Tahti walked further away from the pack to a secluded area. The hid herself from the pack and delivered three pups. One however, did not move. He was stillborn. She licked him desperately, whining, but it did nothing. Then she looked at the other pups. "Taija...Shield..." She whispered, then went to licking them. After they were clean, she allowed them to nurse and then howled for her mate to come see.

Taija had her first meal, snuggling up to her mother's warm fur.

Tommy & Others

Some of the King Hounds had warmed up to Tahti somewhat, though others - mostly Kong and Dip - didn't trust her one bit.

Tommy was not the best mate or father, but he still took interest in his offspring. Hearing Tahti's howl, the wolfmix came sauntering towards where the coyote was, tail wagging a little. "Ah, cute." He said, with a grin.

After nursing, Sheild curled himself up into his mother's warm fur.

Surjay and Snake were soon to arrive, following after their father. Surjay's tail was all-awag when he saw his two half-brothers. "Congratulations, Tahti. Do they have names yet?"

Tahti

Tahti smiled at Tommy. "Yes, they're very cute." She replied softly before looking at Snake and Surjay. "I call the male Shield, and the female Taija."

Tommy & Others

"You think they'll be good fighters?" Tommy asked next, sitting down as he looked from the pups to Tahti.

Surjay tilted his head to the side, looking sad for a moment. He didn't like to fight, and he didn't like the thought of his new brother and sister being forced to fight either. And he really hoped that Ethan would give the pups away to someone. Little did he know that Snake was about to be sold.

Tahti

Tahti looked up at Tommy. "Of course they'll be good fighters." She replied happily. Oh, yes. They would be excellent at assisting their mother in taking down the humans.
