Ethan, Tom, & Harthrou
When Ethan finally made it back to his house, he found Tom chasing Harthrou across the front yard, cursing and yelling at the stallion. If a horse could look smug about himself, Harth would at this moment. But as soon as he saw Ethan, the stallion nickered happily and cantered towards his master.
Ethan patting the black horse on the neck, "Have you been a good boy while I was away?"
"Ha! That horse is a monster when you're gone!" Tom replied, throwing his arms up in exasperation. "He just about broke Aldo's leg a few minutes ago."
"You wouldn't do a thing like that, would you big boy?" Ethan said, speaking to Harthrou as he rubbed the horse's velvety muzzle. Then he addressed Tom, "Hey, did Dan give you the message?"
After a glare at the horse, Tom looked vaguely to Ethan, "What do you mean... oh yeah." He remembered what the other was talking about, and after a hesitant glance to Bonnie, he went on, "I did. I'm heading out now."
As Tom scuttled away, Ethan attempted to explain to Bonnie, "That was Tom; he and a few others work for me here to look after the animals." Well, it was partially the truth...
Bonnie/Lieska/Nightfall
Bonnie grinned as the horse ran across the yard. She kept her mouth shut as Ethan and Tom conversed, but soon spoke up. "That's a nice horse." She said, reaching her hand out to the stallion.
Nightfall snorted in disgust. "Dumb horse, run from them! They'll eat you!" She snapped. Lieska growled at the mare. "Hold your tongue when necessary, Nightfall." She hissed.
The white dog then ran to greet Ethan and Bonnie. She had recently beat Tommy in a fight, so was very proud of herself.
Salsa,Lissa,Faint Snow,Blizz
Salsa moved slowly toward ethan. She was suppose to be in the house resting but she couldn't stand it any more. She sat down in front of him and looked up at him and whined.
Lissa the large liger paced in her cage growling.
Faint Snow:the completly white tiger paced his crate he leto ut a large roar angerly.
the capuchin screeched still trying to get free.
Ethan, Harthrou, & Others
The stallion dipped his head, thrilled to get attention from others; others than Tom, that was. So long as Ethan was here to make sure no abuse befell him, Harth was tolerant of just about anyone touching him.
"Thanks, his name is Harthrou. You won't find a more steady, obedient fellow than this." He explained, being rather proud of the horse. Then he moved on to show Bonnie the rest of the critters.
He walked around to the back of the house, with Harthrou tagging along. The stallion dipped his head a little, flicking one ear in Nightfall's direction, "Ethan would never do such a thing. He loves me." The stallion said meekly, still very much bothered that the mare didn't like him.
Tank was getting a kick out of it though, and jumped at the chance to rub it in, "You'll be no more than chew-toys for the dogs when your time comes."
Ethan nodding to the two horses that were in the cages, "We caught this mare a few months ago. I haven't had time to work with her, but we plan to use her as either a figher, or to get the stallions to fight. And that one is one of our best fighters, which we bought from a friend." Another lie; Tank had been taken from someone, who knew better than to protest against them.
And then on to the tigers. "You'll remember this fellow." Ethan said with a grin, getting close to Faint Snow's cage. "We plan to breed him with the liger over there." To this, he nodded to Lissa.
Bonnie/Lieska/Nightfall
Bonnie patted Harth's neck and spoke softly. "Good boy, Harthrou."
Nightfall's eyes widened and that wicked grin spread across her wicked face again. "Oh, you'd be surprised. Humans are all alike: evil." She shot back. "Especially Ethan. Look at that evil face of his. Soon enough he'll be shoving your meat into his mouth!"
Lieska shook her head. It was useless. Tank and Nightfall wouldn't be changing their minds anytime soon.
Bonnie stepped a bit too close to Nightfall. The mare struck out at her, but, thanks to Bonnie's quick reflexes, she ducked out of the way. "Yeah...she seems like a fighter." She mumbled, before turning to the tiger. "I remember him. The one that wanted to kill the dogs."
Salsa
The wolf fem whined when she was ignored and slowly followed them.Thought it started to take its tole and she slowed down greatly.Panting soon.
Faint snow:Whe the man approached his cage he lunged at the fence with a large roar and his fangs close on the mesh.
Lissa:She let out a roar at them glaring.STill pacing her cage. Her tail flicked.
Blizz:She screached and ran to the back ofh er small cramped cage then the front.
Ethan, Harthrou, & Others
"Woah!" Ethan called out, reaching over to pull Bonnie back, but she was quick enough to escape the attack. "I'm sorry, I should have warned you!" He appologized, looking quite fearful of what could have happened. Then he noticed Salsa, and reached down to pet her.
Ethan moved closer to the big cats' cages, "I think they'll produce an interesting litter. We'll have to remove them from the mother right away, and get them use to people though." He explained, then looked over to Blitz. "You know anyone who'd want a monkey? We haven't got any good offers yet."
Salsa
She panted and pushed her head into his hands.
Faint growled at them. His tail flicked.
Lissa growled angerly.
BLizz she screached and tryed to getout
Bonnie
Bonnie looked at the mare nervously. Nightfall pinned her ears back and snorted. "Calm down, horse, calm down..." She said softly, reaching her hand out to see what would happen. "You're the boss..." Nightfall's ears perked up now as she watched this strange girl. She stood still, staring at Bonnie.
"I can't think of anyone who'd want a monkey. Not right off hand." Bonnie replied, finally able to touch the mare. She put her had gently on the wild horse's forehead. "She's a mysterious animal, Ethan."
Ethan, Harthrou, & Others
Stroking Salsa's head, Ethan watched in apprehension as Bonnie continued to press her luck with Nightfall. "Bonnie, please, be careful around that one..." But even as he spoke, she was reaching forward and touching the mare. Ethan shook his head slowly, looked awed by what Bonnie had done, "And you've got the special touch. That's... amazing, really." He moved closer to the cage, but not within touching distance of Nightfall. "Say, would you like to work with me in training some of these animals? I could always use someone with your kind of skills."
Harthrou watched the interaction, soundlessly at first. But when Nightfall didn't bite or kick in protest to Bonnie, he found his voice, "You see, not all humans are so awful."
Tank stomped the ground, "Bite her hand! That rotten two-legger is as vile as the rest!" He exclaimed, glaring at Bonnie. A kind hand had never touched his scarred flesh, and he had no reason to start trusting humans now.
Salsa
She growled at tank.Shut your mouth horseShe growled though still panting.
lissa grolwed angerly pacing.
Faint reared up and started biting the cage.
Blizz screached loudly
Bonnie
Bonnie looked over at Tank, seeing that he seemed to dislike the way Nightfall acted. She stepped closer, just in biting range, and stood there calmly. "I'd be happy to help out with the animals." She replied. It was almost as if she had a change of heart. She would give the wild beasts a second chance before loading their hide with bullets.
She slowly reached out her hand to Tank, though she would back up every time he showed aggression.
Nightfall looked at Tank. "She was kind to me, so I will be kind to her." She snorted, before looking at Bonnie again. She was a strange girl indeed.
Tahti
Tahti walked around the yard, nose to the ground, hoping to find a scrap of food. Her head shot up when she heard voices from the other side of the house. She knew she heard humans. Slowly, cautiously, she walked closer. A low, quiet bark rang through the air to get their attention.
She would have been quite a sight for the humans, if they would see her. She was missing her right eye and had several other battle scars. She was quite bold for a tiny coyote, which usually got her into trouble.
Ethan, Harthrou, & Others
Grayish eyes narrowed as Bonnie reached to him. With flattened ears, he snapped at her offered hand before rearing up and kicking at the side of his cage, "Wretched parasite!" He snorted, landing heavily back on the ground and glaring at her, "Don't let Harth's words get to you! She will butter you up with soft touches and treats, then beat you down the second you do something wrong!"
Ethan held his breath a moment in tension, knowing how Tank was going to react to Bonnie putting her hand out there, "No one has been able to tame that guy."
Patrolling around the area were Ethan's hunting dogs. The giant King Hounds that made sure that nothing dangerous got near their master. Locklan, the merle blue Hound, was first to scent Tahti as she entered the yard. Right behind him was his sister Meadow, a sepia Hound with all the proper black markings of her breed. Knowing that Tahti was no major threat to them or their master, the two siblings made a wide circle around the coyote as they approached.
"Just who are you, and what are you doing in our master territory?" Locklan demanded, hackles raised, even though he was absurdly larger than the coyote. If she had been a wolf, they would have attacked first and asked questions later.
Bonnie/Tahti
Tahti would play the part of poor starving mother. That wouldn't be too hard, since she recently had pups and hasn't eaten in days. But she would change the story around a bit and throw a pity party for herself.
"I was looking for food." She began. "I was only taking care of my pups when some wolves came. They attacked me and took my pups. Now I'm weak and starving." Her voice was soft and seductive, as always, but showed a hint of arrogance.
Bonnie pulled her hand away when Tank struck out. "Gonna have to work on that one." She mumbled, tilting her head as she watched the stallion.
Ethan, Harthrou, & Others
Tank stomped the ground, snorted defiantly at the human, "Yeah, go ahead and stick that filthy paw of yours towards me again! See how many claws you have left!" He threatened, calling her fingers 'claws'.
Ethan shook his head, "I don't think any amount of work will tame him. I've tried all the tricks I know, and he's still as wild as a hornet."
Locklan scoffed, "That's wolves for ya." Like most of his breed, he despised wolves and thought of them as savages. Coyotes weren't a heck of a lot better in his book, but they also weren't nearly as dangerous. "I'll go easy on you, coyote, since you aren't a wolf. But you'll still have to come with us." He declared, taking a few steps towards her while Meadow closed in from behind. As with the rest of Ethan's pack, the two had been trained specifically to 'bay' animals - keep them alive but subdued for their master. Unless of course, they put up too much of a fight. Then they could be killed.
Tahti
Tahti stepped back, raising her hackles and snarling. "You'll have to kill me if you want to take me!" She spat, trying to make herself look as big as possible. "If you touch me, the Shadow Haunters will have your heads!" She wasn't sure if this was true, as she hadn't exactly followed all of Risen's rules. She didn't know if they would even care.
Salsa
She had come over to investigate. She was still wrapped up.She growled at Locklan.Oh please not all us wolves are horribleShe growled though she was badly panting. She was suppose to be in the house.
Lissa:She let out a large and frightneing roar and so did faint.
Ethan, Harthrou, & Others
Lockan raised an eye as he looked back to Salsa, "Alright, there are some exceptions." He laughed, a bit sarcastically. Then he turned back to Tahti, moving in a litter closer, "Ethan would prefere we capture you alive." The King Hound made a move as if he were about to leap at Tahti..
Instead of Locklan though, Meadow sprang from behind. 180 plounds of dog came flying at the coyote, paws aimed to smash down against her back, while Meadow's jaws aimed to grab the back of her neck, near the base of the skull. If she were able to get this hold, she could keep Tahti from biting her...
Salsa
She growled at him and then shook her head nad limped back to ethan.
Tahti
Tahti snarled as she went down. There she was, pinned to the ground, unable to defend herself. "The Shadow Haunters will hear about this!" She hissed.
Bonnie
Bonnie was looking at the horses when her phone began to ring. "Sorry." She said to Ethan as she took the call. She was obviously stressed when she heard the person on the other side. "Alright. I'm coming." She said. With a sense of urgency, she pocketed the phone and turned to Ethan. "It was Andrea. Somebody's trying to kill her." She said as she dashed out, hoping Ethan would follow. She couldn't do this alone.
Ethan, Harthrou, & Others
Now it was his turn to sit on the sidelines for a moment as Bonnie took a call. Right away, he could tell that something wasn't right. Was it trouble he caused? Or was it something unrelated? His question was soon answered by Bonnie herself; it was her sister that was in trouble.
"I'll be right there!" He informed, dashing inside to grab a riffle. He already had a pistol on hand; as did most of Ben's 'higher' ranking people. Then he was dashing after Bonnie.
Meadow held tightly, but not so tight as to badly hurt the coyote.
Locklan stood in front of her, smirking, "Shadow Haunters, huh? Why don't you tell us about this little group of yours."
Tahti
Tahti snarled at the hounds. "They're a massive group who will eat your guts if you don't let me go right now." She growled angrily.
Locklan, Meadow, & Harth
The two were amused by her response, as they felt superior to any 'wild' creatures. "Not if I eat theirs first." Locklan laughed sarcastically, sitting down in front of Tahti. "I'd like to see them try and hurt one of us."
Meadow scoffed as well, though she couldn't make much of a reply whlie she had Tahti's neck clutched between her jaws.
Harth was nervous as he approched the two, his ears laid back. "Hey, where's Kong? Ethan ran off with that lady-friend of his. Do you think I should follow? He took his riffle with him..."
Locklan looked up at the black stallion and shrugged, "Don't know where Kong's at. But yeah, you ought to follow Ethan. I'll let the rest of the pack know. They ought to be around here somewhere." The big dog replied.
Harth dipped his head, "Thanks." with hardly a glance to spare to Tahti, he followed after the humans' trail.
Tahti/Kane/Luke
Tahti kept her mouth shut now. She was no match for the hounds.
Luke and Kane had been lurking nearby when they heard the voices of Tahti and the hounds. It's never a good idea for the coyote to be around strangers, especially those bigger and stronger than she. They crept closer trying to see their packmate. It was Luke who finally noticed her. "She's under attack. We have to tell the pack." The hybrid said, nodding to Kane. They raced off, toward the Ruins.
Kane
Kane returned to the scene, hopefully with Krypt following. He stood downwind so the hounds would no smell him, and far enough so that they would not hear our see him.
Animortia
The panther had followd Kane, silently. "I've come to help." Animortia hissed, she crouched near the brute. "I'm with Windsong. I'll attack those pets when you say so." Animortia's eyes were cold, she felt restless, but she was low ranked in the Shadow Haunters. Sort of. She'd follow any ones command.
Iota
As Kane led the way Iota followed with a dark feature upon her face. As the sight of her mother entered her eyes, she took of from her escort and shot toward Meadow. She may have be short, but her thickness and strength made up for that. With all 110lbs of her weight she threw herself at the assaulting dog to tear it from her mother. "Back down you no good Pampered." She snarled, savagely tearing at the other's face.
Kong, Stave, Casper, Daisy, Locklan, & Meadow
With the openess of the yard to their advantage, Locklan had plenty of time to react to Iota's rush. As the hybrid rocketed across the ground, the massive hound turned and lunged at her when she sprung for Tahti.
Meadow hunched down, biting a little harder on the coyote's neck. "B'ck 'ff!" She snarled between clenched jaws.
Now the rest of the pack, never far from the yard, showed up in response to the initial attack on Tahti. Kong, at 240 pounds, led the other three towards Locklan and the others. "What do we have here? This one will make a good fighter for Ethan."
Stave, Casper, and Daisy, all King Hounds, circled about Iota and Tahti. Each of them weighed around the 200 pound mark, as was normal for their breed.
Iota; Ghoul; Villain
Iota grunted as a large body collided with her. She didn't hit the ground though. Instead she was able to catch herself and give a deadly glare to the one who had committed such an act. Hackles raised high above her head, "Let go of my mother." Was her cry before she lunged at Locklan's neck. Trying to tear into his dignity and spill out some fresh blood.
Ghoul had followed the scent of Iota. Hearing that Tahti was in trouble, he thought he might come along. It wasn't until the ghastly wolf beheld the sight that made his legs stiffen. Normally he wouldn't go anywhere without his brother's by his side. And now he were wishing they were here. "Damn it." He growled before looking around for help. He didn't see any to aid him in his rescue. "Fighter"... The word made him spin around without a second thought. A sharp snarl erupted in his throat and he was off. Though he didn't make much of an attack. Instead he came to a stop just 10 feet from the bordering dogs. "I don't think you would want a Shadow Haunter as a pet. We don't tend to like humans; nor pets. And you wouldn't want the most feared pack of the wild after your tails, now would you?" He gave a deadly smirk under his multi-toned face. Dark brown orbs flashing dangerously through his dark face.
Last to trail in was the high spirited Villain. He didn't even stalk in the grass- oh no- he just danced right into the clearing with a smile upon his jaws. Coming up to the hostile group the brown wolf pranced just three feet from the bordering dogs. Pacing a light hearted prance around them. "Well well, looks like some coyotes got themselves into a fix." To this Iota gave an icy glare. "No need to be on edge darlings, but fun and games are over. It's time for dinner." He said then stopped near Kong. "You know how mothers can be if babies are late for brunch right?" He said with a smile, brown tail paused for a moment as he waited for what would have been an answer. But before the other could even open his jaws to reply, the tail whipped around and he chanted. "Of course you do, why wouldn't you. I'm sure mother has had your hide once in a while when you were late." He moved around to Meadow now, his eyes alight yet dark. "Now darling, why don't you let go of that flee bitten dirt licker. You're going to get cavities. Coyotes aren't good for you." He gave a smile before lifting his head and looking around. Then suddenly his bright appearance vanished. "Leave now and I wont have to send for the entire Haunter Pack you worthless feet lickers."
Tahti/Nightfall/Lieska
Tahti growled at the Hounds as her packmates spoke. "I'll cause very much trouble for your master. Just ask my pack. They know." She hissed, raising her hackles. "And your master won't be able to do anything about it. Since I'm invincible and all." Of course, this was a lie, but she was a jerk like that. She aimed to intimidate them and make them think she's crazier than she actually is. She would do anything to get on her enemy's nerves.
Nightfall looked down at the canines. Those human pets disgusted her. She pinned her ears and snorted at them. "Let the coyote go, maggot-breath!" She snapped. "Remember what happened to your human when he found me? Remember how I almost killed him?" She lifted her head and stared down at them arrogantly. "Well, I was being merciful. It doesn't look like this pack will show you very much mercy. The parasite's guts will be on the floor when the wolves are done with him!"
Lieska growled as she passed Night's cage, "Shut up, horse." She looked at the wolves and raised her hackles. "You're going to want to leave now, wolf scum!" She barked out, rushing at Iota.
Kong, Stave, Casper, Daisy, Locklan, & Meadow
Locklan jerked his head to the side, snarling sharply when he felt the bitter pain of his flesh being broken. "You'll pay for that!" The massive brute roared, trying to captured the side of Iota's head in his jaws. It was usually pretty easy to bruise the big ego that King Hounds tended to have.
Meadow placed two big paws on the back of Tahti's head, while resting her hind paw and most of her weight on the mother's back. This freed her jaws for talking, though they were held low enough to seize the coyote's neck if she tried to squirm away, "If this is what comprises your pack..." The dog snorted with a look to Tahti, "...then I'm not sure what I should be afraid of. Other than getting infested with fleas and ticks from you wild heathens."
Kong took a few steps towards Ghoul, his dark head lowered in a defensive posture, "I've had about all I'm going to take. Stave, contact Ben's pack. Have Dip rally them here." The lead said with a glance to his second in command. Then his dark brown eyes were fixed on Ghoul again, "I'm calling your bluff, wolf. Go ahead, call your pack."
While Stave sent up a howl for Ben's pack, Casper turned angrily on Nightfall, "According to Hydra, my master was able to whip you pretty good. And it will be your guts that we feast on when Ben has finished with you!"
Goul; Villain; Iota
Ghoul didn't lower his head, he kept it dominantly high and growled low to the hound. "You asked for it." Raising up his head high he howled for back up from his pack. And with the way things were sounding, they would need quite a bit of help.
Villain stared at the hounds who didn't take heed upon their warnings.
Iota was able to dodge the attack made by the male king hound, but she was caught by surprise by Lieska. Tumbling to the ground she growled dangerously and kicked out at the dog with her hind feet trying to keep her away.
Villain decided to take part in this little battle now and aimed for Meadow to get her off of Tahti. "Dearest, I've told you to let go!" He growled as he bit at her face and neck.
The Assassins.
The group of three had been hunting around the area when they heard the call of a Shadow Haunter. Smiling, they had been well rested from the last battle and were ready and willing to fight this one as well.
With new scars in tow. The akita female was the first to enter upon the scene. Moving in close to Ghoul she stared to Kong with her dark blue eyes shifting angerly. "You called?" Ghoul nodded though still waited for more back up.
Darmus came romping in like normal, bounding right for the middle and leaping with playful fighting toward Locklan. Or at least it was playful to him, his teeth bit down for the dog's back or neck with just as much force as he could muster up.
Halabex, a large brown would, sauntered in slowly. His unraisable head floated just inches from the ground. His thick fur only raised higher as he approached the other side of the akita. "So you are the ones wanting to play right? I'll let you know Toxic doesn't like pets." The akita started to growl with his story. Then let herself continue. "All humans are to die as are those who associate with them." She now restrained herself from leaping forward.
Salsa
She was too injured to fight so when she saw these animals come she bolted for the house.
Lissa,Faint Snow, Blitze
Lissa the cougar growled at the scene. you dirty petsShe grolwed.
Faint snow son of rajsa(the haunter traitor) and wasteland watched. He was pure white with little visible stripes his eyes resembled much of his mothers and his face and body was built like his fathers. He let out a loud growl.
blitz the capuchin monkey started going off again screeching in her cage.
Ethan, Harthrou, & Packs
Daisy launched at Villian when she saw him making a move for Meadow. "Bad choice!" The hound growled, trying to tackle the other to the ground and snap at his shoulder and neck.
Locklan was all for killing the one that dared draw blood on him. But the most curious of dogs was now dancing his way, looking more playful than anything. "Just what in the..." His sentence was cut off when Darmus made a move for his back. Locklan reared up with a ferocious snarl, twisting around and slamming his big paws down for the other's face while his jaws snapped at the base of Darmus's neck.
Stave and Casper closed in around Meadow and Tahti, ready to secure their 'prize'.
Kong's ebony lips pulled back in a grizzly snarl, "Fair enough; we need a little excercise." But he didn't attack yet. If he lunged at Ghoul, he figured the newly arrived allies would be spurred into attack as well. While they remained idle, so would he.
Now Ben's pack had arrived, close after the allies of Ghoul's. Seven hounds in all; Dip, Cabras, Honder, Lynn, Jackman, Meservea, and Tommy. All but the last were King Hounds. Tommy was half wolf and half collie.
"You really need us, Kong? Can't you handle this on your own?" Dip smirked, looking from the larger dog and then to the enemies. "The humans seem edgy enough as it is, and I think..." Dip trailed off as he heard a human voice.
While checking up on the pets at Bonnie's, Ethan heard the howl of Ben's leader, Dip. Out further, he could hear the vague call of Stave and that of the wild pack. Under his training, the pack was never to howl like that unless they had found quarry. And to have both packs singing; it only meant something major had been found.
Riding Harthrou back to his home, Ethan charged into the yard. "Ben? You there? Ben?" He demanded, but there was no answer on his cellphone. Clicking the phone shut, he urged Harth into a slow, wide circle around the melee of dogs. A new number was dialed on his phone,
"Tom? Have you talked with Ben yet? ....
What, are you sure? ...
Alright, alright, stay there then. But send Scott over here, and Danny too. ...
Well, then send Steve - I don't care. ...
Dammit, I don't have time to argue! Bonnie's been shot, and there...
Yeah, but there's a pack of canines over here. Ben's pack showed up. ...
I'm sure I can, but I've never seen them act like this before. ...
Alright."
He stuffed the phone in his pocket now and leveled the riffle at the group. He had a killer shot, but he wasn't going to risk shooting so close to his dogs. He was also careful not to stay too close to the edge of the woods, where something might try to ambush him. Instead, he remained out in the open, where he'd have clear shot at anything that tried to run his way.
Leopeson, Xuvan, Martimoor, & Little Tuft
Under Risen's orders, the rest of the coalition was sent out to help with the attack. Following Leopeson's charge, the four young lions charged into the yard without a moment's hesitation. Leopeson came up beside Ghoul, baring his own fangs at Kong.
Martimoor decided to help Villian, and lunged after Daisy. He tried to leap on her and wrap his claws around the canine, while sending his fangs for her back.
Little Tuft was still rather weak from the last battle, but was bound determined to prove himself to the others, despite his smaller size. He had no experience with humans, aside from seeing Mahala. Guns were something new for him, and he couldn't possibly predict just how lethal they were. Giving a roar, the lion charged at Harth, as he aimed to leap up and tackle Ethan from the stallion.
Xuvan began to circle around the horse, ready to take on the equine once Tuft took care of the human.
Salsa
She may be injured but when she saw the lion lung for her master she bolted and jumped. the lions fangs most likly would grab her mid section. She wouldn't die from this but would barely live.If the teeth had closed in on her she would yelp loudly
Onslaught
Closely following his feline 'brothers', Onslaught charged up to the scene of battle, skidding to a halt to stand beside his brother. His ears were back, fangs bared, and icy yellow eyes flashing with an intense fire. The strongest and most feared group in the Haunters was now assembled with it's main members. The coalition had arrived in force. Chuckling in an arrogant and deadly manner, the hybrid took a step forward towards Kong, but his words were to Leopeson and Ghoul, "Guys, there seems to be an overgrown hairball in our way."
Ghoul; Villain; Iota; Toxic; Darmus; Halabex; Prisoner; Gymba
Ghoul gave a most deadly grin as another two aided his side. All five now surrounded this dog who seemed to be calling the shots. "Get 'im" He growled as his jaws flung open and took aim for the Kong's face. As the scream to go was sounded Toxic opened her jaws as well and took aim for the dogs front legs, leaving the neck opened for the lion to grab. Halabex snarled with delight as the signal was giving and rushed in on the hounds stomach. Hoping to tear out the entrails of the beast.
Villain didn't even think twice as the dog behind him tried to attack. He continued his assault on Meadow as Martimoor took on Daisy behind him. Villain's own attack continued to rain down upon Meadow's head, neck and shoulders.
Iota continued her assault on Lieska. Kicking up her legs to his underbelly and letting her fangs now fly up to his face and neck.
Prisoner came rushing in at top speed when she hit the open lands. Spotting the group and the new hounds that had started to follow in, she decided to head toward "Ben's pack" With her daggers well stretched in front of her she randomly broke into the group, trying to trample the first three she saw. Honder, Lynn, and Jackman, where the monsters she was able to first get around to and hoped to knock them all down like flies.
The thundering feet of the new assailant came pounding through as the brush revealed the hot tempered rhino. Growling into the air Gymba charged at the group, but her eyes diverted to the human on the horse. She knew what a mounted ride looked like and that none in her pack look quite like them. She took her tangent and aimed her horn right for the under belly of the horse, hoping to skewer right through the animal and knock the human off.
Lieska/Amber
Lieska yelped as Iota's fangs cut into her face. "You will pay for that!" The white German Shepherd growled, trying to close her jaws around the coywolf's head.
Amber arrived just then, hearing the calls of her friends. She had hunted with these dogs and knew them very well now. And Bonnie had taught her that friends have to help friends. "Dirty savages!" The hybrid snapped. She rushed at Ghoul, snapping at his head.
Ethan & Packs
A single shot was aimed in Little Tuft's direction before Ethan guided Harth in a half-cirlce, setting Xuvan in his sights. Before he could fire a round at the brother, a rhino came charging at him. There was evident shock in the man's brooding eyes when he saw the African beast rushing his way, but he didn't doubt what he was seeing. Remaining calm, he sent a shot for the creature's lower shoulder.
Harthrou remained still, though very frightened by the strange creature roaring his way. He remembered Goodwin's stallion being gutted by Pheral, and could imagine Gymba doing the same to him. When the rhino was almost to him, Ethan drove Harth sharply to the side, narrowly avoiding the strike. He knew his light-weight and nimble stallion could dance circles around the horned beast; as long as he was careful to watch for the other predators.
Meadow bit savagely at Tahti, trying to tear a dangerous wound across the back of her head and neck. Whether she managed this or not, she was forced to let go of the coyote as two enemies assaulted her. Yelping at the pain as fangs and claws befell her, Meadow sent her attack at Villian's throat.
Dip went right for Halabex, trying to grab the other by the lower hind leg and severe the tendon in one swift bite.
Cabras and Tommy set their sights on Toxic, each aiming for either side of the enemy. Their goal was to get a grip on the other's flesh and shred it to cause mass blood loss.
Meservea joined Locklan in his attack Darmus. Biting randomly and viciously, trying to shred flesh and send the chow into shock.
Casper went right for Leopeson, aiming to tackle the young lion before he could get Kong.
Tommy went for Xuvan, while Daisy went for Martimoor.
Honder, Lynn, and Jackman were use to being around the deadly hooves of horses. Despite their massive size, they were very agile and swift, and darted in opposite directions when the mare came their way. Honder circled back around the horse and leaped at her haunches.
Lynn and Jackman turned their attention to Gymba, knowing that protecting the human, even if he wasn't their master, was the priority. Rhinos were something new for them, but that massive horn and the sheer size of the beast told them to be wary. Going on opposite sides, the two randomly leaped and snapped at Gymba.
Ghoul .+. Others
Ghoul gave a nice assault onto Kong before being apprehended by Amber. Feeling a sting on his rump cause a vicious snarl before rounding upon the creature with open jaws flying at the fea's face and eyes. Trying to blind her either permanently or temporarily with pain.
Toxin didn't fight dogs for a living for nothing. As the two came at her, her ears swiveled around. Trying to seem occupied with her current victim. When they were close enough she let go of her mark and leaped backward in hopes to cause the two to crash into each other head long. Only after landing did she lunge forward for the two. Her mouth now gaping wide to tear out Tommy's throat. Her claws extended to keep Cabras at bay for as long as possible.
Darmus continued to bounce around Locklan. Literally, he was even leaping over the other's back and biting. It wasn't until Meservea joined in did the chow's playful front evaporate into the air. "You're no fun." He growled before completely ignoring Locklan and dancing around Mese. He only recieved a few bites but gave back just as random of attacks. Keeping his head in front of him until it was his turn to strike. He rushed in and faked a throat hold, biting up into the but for just a second before dodging to the side and aiming for the gut. But just as he did so he lept over the canine and kicked out with his back paws to the belly then swung around and bit savagely at the shoulders. Just for a second or less before releasing and backing off to once again be on the receiving end.
Halabex was well aquanted with fighting other dogs. As the dog went for his limb, he promptly jumped back to sit on the creature. True his leg had been caught and injured but he hoped the awkward attack would open the dog up just long enough for him to twirl around and crush his spine.
Prisoner watched as the dogs scatted, then her eyes caught the sound of Honder chasing her, as he attacked her, she let her targeted leg bounce up and give a powerful jab at the dog's face and jaws. Whether she made her mark or not, she could feel the teeth scraping across her cannon bone. But not the Haunch he was wanting.
Gymba snorted loudly as the human took aim, and when the gun was fired she felt a searing pain course through her shoulder. She had moved just inches from his target and the bullet embedded into her outer shoulder. Roaring hotly with pain the rhino tried to circle around and jab either horse or rider.
When she felt the attempts of dogs hurting her she began to side step and back step in hopes of crushing the little mongrels.
Villain continued his assault on Meadow. As her fangs flew up at him, he throat ducked and he soon received a face full of mouth. "Ahh!" She snarled out, but instead of backing away he moved forward to release Tahti from her hold. While doing so he attempted to bite at her lips and chew them up. While his claws moved up for her eyes and her throat.
Animortia
Animortia yawned, she hadn't done much. The dogs had the job, but she decided to help out. Animortia bounded quickly into the melee, giving a loud roar to attempt to scare them. "Nasty mongrels." Animortia mumbled under her breath.
Ethan & Packs
"Hey!" Tommy barked, just as Toxin leaped up. The small hybrid dodged to the side, but not before Cabras clipped him along the side and sent the little canine to the ground. Being a fraction of the Hound's weight, Tommy rolled twice across the ground before gaining his paws under him and seeing Toxin rushing for his throat. With a startled gasp, Tommy ducked his head down, causing the dog's bite to close over his muzzle.
Not hindered by the collision with Tommy, Cabras charged striaght after Toxin. The brute plunged his jaws for the other's side, trying to bite down right behind where the ribs ended, and right into the soft gut of the dog.
Like his last encounter with the Assassians, Kong didn't do well with so many assaulting him. The side of his neck and shoulder were laid open by the other's fangs. A steady trail of blood began to seep from his wounds, and Kong cursed at the fact that the other had gotten the better of him.
Meservea and Locklan weren't use to fighting something quite like Darmus, but the wild antics of the dog quickly got on their nerves. The high-strung Meservea was snarling like a banshee and snapping madly at the chow when ever she got the chance. Here and there, little wounds covered her body where the other had set his fangs. Locklan as well sported his own blood along his back, where Darmus had snagged him a few times. "Dammit, Mes! Calm down a little!" Locklan growled as Darmus got the better of the Hound. Taking que from the chow's own tricks, Locklan watched as Meservea charged madly at the dog and went to snap his throat. Locklan rushed in at the same moment, aiming an attack on the chow's lower throat. But at the last second, he shifted gears and sprung for the chow's hind leg, trying to crush it.
The leader of Ben's pack was quite pleased with himself, and squeezed his jaws together as tightly as he could before feeling Halabex sit back. With a frustrated growl, Dip pulled back quickly. Hal's teeth caught in his thick ruff and bored down into his flesh. Reacting quickly, Dip swung his head up and flung himself to the side, trying to wrench Hal's hold off his neck before it could do serious damage.
Honder was well use to handling wild horses, and knew better than to let himself fall in line with a kicking hoof. He didn't linger on the bite, and jumped clear as soon as it was delievered. "We could always do for another fighter!" The King Hound snarled wickedly, racing along side of Prisoner before diving for a quick bite at her shoulder.
Using their skills with horses, Lynn and Jackman used the same tactics as Honder employed with Prisoner. The scurried and dashed this way and that, offering meager little snaps to the rhino's tough hide while keeping just out of smashing range. Unless they were fighting a wolf or other canine, they had been tried to keep the animal contained. No killing it unless they were given the command. Just keep it away from the humans.
Meadow's muzzle was quickly marred by Villian, spurring her into somewhat of a fury. Attempting to counter his claws with quick swipes of her own oversized paws, Meadow lunged at Villian with bleeding jaws agape. Rather than target any specific area on him, she snapped with frenzy at what ever bit of flesh she could reach.
Harthrou was again guided out of Gymba's range, moving quickly and adeptly. Ethan would have fired another round at her, but now the dogs were harrying her, and he couldn't afford to hit one of them. Instead, he aimed high and fired off two rounds about the melee of fighters, trying to spook them. He wanted to capture some of them for fighting and research, but knew there were too many for him to handle alone.
Leopeson, Xuvan, Martimoor, & Little Tuft
Little Tuft dug his teeth and claws deep into Salsa, but released once he felt a strange and burning pain sear into his side. He jumped back, but promptly crumpled and fell down. Stunned, Tuft looked back to see a bit of blood trailing from what looked like a puncture wound near his hip. Not understanding what guns were, the young lion had no clue what had wounded him. But whatever it was, he could hardly stand now.
Xuvan was about to launch at Ethan, when he saw his brother get shot. He too knew nothing of guns, but he made the connection between the horrible blast and the sudden wound that opened up on Tuft's hindquarters. Was that magic? How in the world... Two more shots went off, but this time the strange metal stick was aimed in the air. The sound was deafening like thunder! Xuvan thought against his assault on Ethan and circled back around to Ghoul and Leopeson, "Guys... I think we should get out of here..."
Leopeson was enthrawled with Casper at the moment. Claws unsheathed, he took the bites of the dog while lashing out with his own weapons and setting his fangs for the hounds face.
Martimoor flipped onto his side and made use of all four paws as he kicked out at Daisy to shred her flesh to peices if he could.
Salsa
Having already been injured by a tiger before the one in the pen actaully. She now layed where the lion dropped her blood comming from the wounds and she yelped and whined but could not move.
Andrea
Andrea came in, riding Sophia the mule. She was followed by Sean the King Hound, Wolfe the hybrid, and Lupe the foxhound. She carried a rifle. "Who are we shooting?" She asked frantically.
Seeing her chance, Tahti slipped free, only to stumble and collapse on the ground a while later.
Amber pulled her head back, yelping. She tried to locate Ghoul again. When her sight returned, she launched another attack, this time for his neck.
Wolfe growled, leaping at Villain. The massive hybrid struck out at the wolf's face.
Lupe pinned Tahti to the ground, the coyote's throat in her jaws. "Leave or the coyote dies!" She snarled. She would do it if it meant getting the Haunters out of here.
Salsa
She was starting to loose her vision. Lack of blood. She succesfully protected ethan but she still didn't want to die. The wolf whined for ethan's attention
Onslaught
Onslaught snarled, and as his brothers charged forward, he did too. As most went for Kong, Onslaught pulled back to survey the battle for a target he could choose. Cabras soon became his choice, and so he powered up towards the hound but was quickly stopped when a loud crack caught his attention.
Ears up, he froze, only to see Little Tuft get hit by a bullet. Eyes wide, he turned to see the gun and the connection was made in his mind. Charging towards his coalition, the hybrid flinched as another two shots were fired into the air. Brushing up next to Xuvan, he too barked out to the others, "I agree, there's too many, we must go back to the Ruins." Still, he couldn't let his guard down, so whilst he waited for the others to make up their minds, he joined Leopeson to tag team Casper. Whilst the hounds attention was on the lion, the wolf hybrid came up from behind, aiming to jump onto his targets back and send his jaws for the back or the side of Casper's throat, whilst using his weight and the impact of the jump to try and shunt him into the ground.
Tahti/Lupe
Tahti growled to get the attention of the Haunters. "Go back! I will escape soon enough. For now, don't risk your lives. The more we fight, the more danger we are put in." She said loudly. Lupe looked around at the wild animals. "If you leave now, I will ensure that she is not harmed." And this was true. Lupe had a way of getting what she wanted, being a pretty female dog.
Ghoul; Villain; Iota; Toxic; Darmus; Halabex; Prisoner; Gymba
Ghoul growled with satisfaction as the female was blinded by his attack. As her vision began to return to her, he was ready to throw yet another attack but heard the call to retreat. He agreed, there were too many to fight. "Retreat!" He barked out to his comrades. His white frame then turned and headed toward Little Tuft. Pushing against his side. "Lean on me, we can make it back." He spoke, then looked around and growled at any that got near.
Villain smiled happily as Meadow took the receiving end of his assaults. But was to slow to dodge all of the attacks she set upon him. Growling his ears perked at the retreat and smiled to the fea "Guess our fun is over this time, later dove." He grinned, listening to the approaching feet of Wolfe. Before the new opponent could make it to him he dodged out of the way and bolted for Little Tuft, Picking up on his other side to help move the lion. He too growled at the others as he a Ghoul lead the lion away.
Halabex was too consumed in his fight to hear the call to fall back. When he felt the hold on Dip's neck, his teeth maneuvered to better his hold and then bite down harder. He hadn't been in pit fighter for three years and learn nothing. Once his hold was concrete he did not let go of the canine. Even though now he could barely hold weight on his fractured limb.
Toxic smirked as her fangs bore into the other's face, then she began to thrash around, trying to purge an eye from one of his sockets. It wasn't until the wave of heat engulfed her side that she noticed Cabras. Growling dangerously she picked up her foot and scratched at his face and eyes and mouth. Trying to rid herself of him. For as long as she could, she held onto Tommy, but the pain made her eventually flinch and she lost her hold. Twirling around her fangs aimed right for Cabras neck and side of face. Trying to grab and rip a tender ear.
Darmus was having fun with these two. Running around as if there was no end to his energy. His fangs continued to search for Mes's hide, though he did receive his own nips here and there, they weren't enough to phase him. When the female went went for his throat he faked a right, and then a left, and fake back and then leaped out of her way and right into Lock's jaws. His haunch landed so perfectly in the bite and when the dog bit down Darmus screeched out in pain. Twisting his back and falling to the ground as he bit at the other's front legs. Trying to break one of them.
Prisoner was starting to pant, two fights in a row was wearing down on her and when the dog bit at her shoulder she reared up. Kicking out at him, though feeling the sting of the scrape he gave to her just near her elbow. As the others called to retreated she took the suggestion and bolted out of the lands and to the temple. Never a second look behind her.
Gymba snorted as the dogs swarmed around her. Grunting and stomping her foot and swinging her massive horn around. It didn't take much for her to be persuaded to leave. As the call was sounded she turned and began to run out of the land. Ready to trample anything that got into her way.
Ethan & Packs
As the others took off, Ethan jumped from Harth and hurried towards Salsa, "Guard!" The man called out before knealing down next to the wounded canine. "Andrea, would you mind staying here for a little bit? At least until my friends get here." He asked, picking up Salsa as he looked back to Bonnie's sister.
Kong was snarling quietly, but as much as he wanted to tear after the enemies, he couldn't. Ethan had given them a new command. Dip's neck was badly bitten, but thanks to his breeding, he survived the dangerous assault. But what damage his body took, his pride took an even harder hit. "What's your master thinking? We should charge after them! We have the advantage!" The hound spat irritably, speaking to Kong.
The massive dog shook his head, "Don't second my master, Dip. Swallow your ego and help keep watch."
The rest of the hounds remained in the yard, alert for danger.
Salsa
Salsa yelped as she was picked up and her head just fell almost lifeless. Her panting grew bigger and her breathing labored.Blood dripped from her whole side of her body both sides.
Andrea
Andrea nodded vaguely, jumping down from Sophia's saddle and walking toward Bonnie's dogs. She looked at each one to make sure they were alright before looking back at Ethan. "You know...Bonnie will go psycho if one of us isn't there when she wakes up..." She said sheepishly.
That's when Lupe approached the other packs, grinning. She handed Tahti off to Wolfe so she could do the speaking. "We have their packmate, guys." She said happily. "As long as the coyote is in our jaws, her pack will do what we want. They obviously don't want to lose a member."
Amber circled around Wolfe and Tahti. "What's your name, rat?" She hissed, baring her teeth. Tahti grinned. "My name belongs to me. And I don't like to share." She replied arrogantly. Wolfe tightened his grip on the female. "If you must know, I am Tahti of the Shadow Haunters. You have already sampled hell. Let me go or we'll give you the full treatment." Wolfe chuckled. "You're not going anywhere, love."
Ethan, Dan, & Packs
"After I take Salsa to the vet, I'll be there for her." Ethan assured, before spotting Tahti. "When my friends get here, tell them to tie up the coyote in the front yard." If it's a fight the pack wanted, he'd show them a thing or two about what he was capable of. But he wouldn't say such things in front of Andrea. Climbing astride Harth, he hurried off to the Vet.
Tommy sauntered towards Amber and the others, glaring angrily at Tahti. There was a deep gash the ran across the skin above and below his right eye, where the enemie's fangs nearly gouged out his sight. "Stupid, wild, mongrel, beasts!"
Kong moved towards Tahti as well, rumbling, "Your pack has some interesting members, I'll admit. But they are nothing compared to us."
Andrea/Tahti/Others
Andrea watched Ethan leave, then turned back to the animals. She would make sure there was no trouble.
Amber growled at Tahti. "It's scum like you that we're to rid this Valley of, lowlife!" She snapped. Tahti merely grinned in that arrogant way of hers. "I am not the one holding the life of one of God's creatures in my jaws. I am no different than you. I am somebody's daughter. And somebody's mother. Only I have more freedom." She shot back snarkily, then glanced at Kong. "Oh really? That wasn't my whole pack. That was only a small portion." She then looked up at Wolfe, who held her in his jaws. "You're certainly strong. I'm sure your children would be just as powerful as you. What's your name, dear?" She asked seductively. All this made Wolfe uncomfortable. "Uh...Wolfe's my name..." He mumbled. Tahti continued to grin, narrowing her eye. "Your name suits you well. You and I would be a good pair..." She would have continued if Amber hadn't chomped down on her face. "Enough!" The big female hybrid snarled. Wolfe looked nervously at the canines around him. Much to his displeasure, he was almost beginning to like this coyote. After all, she was a female.
Kong & Others
Kong's rumble blossomed into a chilling snarl, "Don't listen to her, Wolfe! Her kind is like that." He warned, speaking of the 'wiley' coyote. "Smart-mouthed vermins who think they can talk their way out of anything." Kong was no one who was easily seduced.
Tommy was another story. He had fallen quite easily for Aleu, and had three offspring with her.
Tahti/Wolfe/Amber
Wolfe listened to Kong and nodded. But his eyes remained on Tahti. The coyote continued to grin. "I'm afraid your friend is right, Wolfe. I'm not fit for a dog as powerful and handsome as you." She chuckled. "So do you have any brothers? Friends?" The coyote licked her lips, staring at the hybrid. Wolfe looked at Kong nervously. Most knew how much he liked females. "Amber! You have to take her! I...I can't handle her." He whimpered, handing the wild animal off to Amber.
Amber held Tahti firmly in her jaws. "Did you really think Wolfe would fall for your trick?" She growled. Tahti laughed evilly. "He already has. Look at him. He can't take his eyes off me! He wants me." She replied arrogantly. Amber growled at Wolfe. It was true. The hybrid male had fallen for the coyote female. "Wolfe, you fool! She's not our kind! Bonnie will kill you if she finds out."
Tahti looked at Tommy, still smiling. "You must be a friend of Wolfe, right?"
Kong & Others
Kong moved closer to Tahti, hackles up. But instead of speaking to her, he glared at Wolfe, "Control yourself! She is worth nothing." As he said the last sentence, he looked glaringly back to the coyote.
Tommy was startled by her words, and fumbled for a reply, "I, uh, no - I'm with him." The wolf hybrid said, with a nod to Kong, "I mean, I'm a part of his pack. I..." Tommy's words drifted off as Kong sent him a furious glare.
Daisy almost laughed at the comical way the two males were spellbound by the coyote. "Why don't you two just not say anything."
Tahti/Wolfe/Amber
Wolfe nodded to Kong, but still kept his eyes on the coyote. "I could take the pups for myself..." He mused. Amber growled and stepped up beside Wolfe. "And what if they are just as evil as the mongrel herself?" She snarled between her teeth and she tightened her grip on the coyote. Wolfe ignored Amber's words and stared down at Tahti.
Tahti smiled. "You both would make excellent fathers. In fact, I'm sure you could raise the pups for yourself! But now to decide who the father will be..." She said seductively as she looked from Wolfe to Tommy.
As if on cue, Wolfe yanked Tahti from Amber's jaws. "The coyote is mine!" He growled, raising his hackles. Oh, yes. This wild animal would be his pet. Tahti laughed gently. "I knew you'd come to your senses."
Temptation
There was a second pair of eyes on the group. Uninvited eyes as she listened to the conversation. She had come to just watch, to amuse herself with this entertainment. When she felt the time was appropriated, she snaked out and slowly sauntered up to the group. Her head held medium with her shoulders. Her eyes were fixed on the coyote and when she came close enough she allowed her presence known with a laugh. "You fall for a mongrel coyote?" She lifted her head suddenly. Golden silver eyes hotly looking down to the mother before shifting with her sly background toward Tommy. So, he's the other sucker?" She thought, offering a fox like smile to the hound. Then she glanced to Kong. "May I ask a question?" She asked gently, and well waited for a response before diving into her inquiry.
As for her smell. She had taken a bath and rolled in the summer flowers before coming here. They wouldn't even hint the same smell as Tahti. Just the smell of violets on her oil black coat. Her disposition, currently. Kind, outgoing, but respective.
Kong & Others
Tommy was set back a little when Wolfe snatched up Tahti. He wanted the coyote for himself! "Hey, this isn't even your land!" He challenged, hackles raised as he edged towards Wolfe, ready to take the coyote from him.
Dip stepped between the two, "Get a hold of yourselves! Tommy, stand down!" He ordered. A reluctant Tommy scrambled back, though his eyes were still on Wolfe.
Kong looked to Temptation before growling quietly, "Surround her!" As Cabras, Stave, and Honder circled around the hybrid, Kong moved in closer, "What is your question?" The darkly colored hound demanded.
Tahti/Wolfe
Tahti smiled. Her plan was working. She looked up at Wolfe, then at Tommy. She laughed as Tommy stepped away. "Don't listen to him, Tommy. He only wants me for himself. He'll take me away when you're not looking." She said in a low voice. "But, I suppose that if you aren't prepared to fight for me, Wolfe will have to do."
Wolfe growled at Tommy, raising his hackles. "Too bad. I claimed the coyote for myself. You want her, come get her!" He snarled.
Temptation
Her complexion held strong as the others surrounded her. Not even flinching for a second. Upon warm breath she spoke to Kong. "I am just wondering if your owners would mind a wolf who wants to disown the wild." Her words lulled from her mouth. Eyes brightly staring to the dog. Behind the strength-filled look, she also portrayed respect. Smiling to the group around her.
Eyes flicked up to the small group crumbling over Tahti. "Besides, it looks like you may need a little help with pest control." Her voice grew somewhat dull, then perked up as she turned back to the hound. "I'm not much one for coyotes and foxes and sniveling little rats." she giggled for a moment. Then looked back to Kong.
Kong & Others
There was silence from Kong as he ignored the males' bickering and focused on Temptation. He loathed wolves, but he had to consider Ethan's wants. "You arrive at a convinient enough time." The King Hound accused, instantly suspecting this was some sort of trick, as he thought wolves were never to be trusted, "But it is my master's decision on what to do with you. Sit there and cause no trouble until my master returns, and he will decide your fate."
"You're both pathetic!" Dip spat, looking from Wolfe to Tommy, "I don't care if you two tear eachother's throats out, do as you wish!" He snarled, being fed up with the two of them.
Without the leaders to stop him, Tahti's words and Wolfe's claimance spurred the hybrid into attack. Ruff expanded, he launched at Wolfe with fangs bared. He snapped mainly at the other's face, trying to drive him away from Tahti.
Tahti/Wolfe/Andrea
Wolfe tried to dodge Tommy's attack, but was unsuccessful. He instinctively opened his jaws to fight back and dropped Tahti on the ground. The coyote picked herself up and stepped aside, watching the fight. Wolfe lunged for Tommy's throat.
Andrea usually liked to let domestic animals settle their own fights, but she knew she should interfere when things got too rough. She stood up and clapped her hands. "Wolfe! Here, boy!" She called out. The hybrid ignored her. Andrea shook her head and sighed. "You sure are a dumb dog." She said impatiently, sitting back down on the ground.
Tommy
Tommy met the other fang to fang, then dropped back and sprung to the side when Wolfe went for a throat hold. The spry little hybrid knew he couldn't use strength against his larger adversary, and had to instead rely on speed and agility. Narrowly dodging the first assault, Tommy dove in for Wolfe's hind leg, trying to slice at the flesh and muscle.
Daisy stepped towards the two, "Should I break them up?"
Locklan shook his head, "If they want to act obnoxious, let them duke it out."
Wolfe
Wolfe yelped when Tommy got a hold on his hind leg. He wouldn't try to pull his leg free; it might cause more serious damage. Instead, he snapped at the hybrid's spine.
Kong & Others
Tommy thrashed his head from side to side, trying to do as much damage as he could. Feeling Wolfe shift in his new attack, the hybrid released his hold and made a leap to the side. But tired and weakened from his fight with the Haunters, he wasn't quite quick enough. Wolfe got ahold of his lower back. With a yelp, Tommy tried to whirl around and rip himself free of the hold, while snapping at the other's face.
Wolfe
Wolfe had just been in two fights, so was not in any condition to attack anymore. He released his hold on Tommy. Besides, if he did too much damage, he'd be punished by both Bonnie and Amber. He wanted none of that. He dodged the hybrid's next attacks and sat down, licking the blood off of his injured leg. "Keep i mind that I let you win, Skippy." He growled.
Tahti smiled when she saw the outcome of the fight. She took a few steps forward and licked Tommy's muzzle. "It looks like you're the winner." She whispered.
Tommy
Panting, Tommy took a step back, grateful that Wolfe didn't attack any more. His body was alight with fire, but he was overjoyed to have won the battle. "Whatever..." Usually pretty witty, Tommy failed to come up with a deserving name for Wolfe. Instead, he turned to Tahti, giving her muzzle a return caress. "It was all for you, of course." He whispered back, then nudged her. Not wanting to be hassled by his fellow packmates, he tried to lead the coyote away to a more secluded area.
Dip turned back and snarled, "If you come back along, Tommyboy, you better not come back at all." He warned.
Tommy pretended not to hear, but he understood the threat. If Tahti didn't come back with him, he'd get punished badly.
Tahti
Tahti nuzzled Tommy lovingly, but of course it was all show. Tahti wasn't one to mate for life. She just loved her pups. She willingly went away with the hybrid.
Temptation
The black wolf adolescence watched from the distance toward the fight. Inwardly laughing at the display before snickering aloud. "You're going to breed with that flee bag?" She poked fun at the hound. Showing true disgust toward the couple as they moved away. As much as she wanted to submerge herself into the play, she had to remember why she was here. Keep an eye on the crazed wolf. And if Tahti bred with them, she may be able to steal the pups back before the dogs could have any influence. The Haunters would not only have outside blood, but more members to boot.
Brilliant orbs soon turned to Kong, noting his discomfort with her. "Tell me dog, what do you have against my type? Have they wronged you as much as they have me? Oh, Maybe I should let you guys know who I am. The name's Kaida, Daughter of two lowly beasts." She said with some disgust. Looking around for a human to 'comfort' and possibly persuade into trusting her.
She spotted Andrea and her fluff black tail began to wag. Looking to all the dogs she slowly moved toward the girl. Her head down, her tail wagging. Tongue licked her lips in a submissive way. As she grew close she crawled on her belly until she was about three feet from any physical contact with the girl.
Bright colored orbs stared up to the human she she gave a soft whine in greeting. She had good breeding on her side as well as excellent training.
Andrea
Andrea looked down at the wolf nervously. She wasn't very comfortable around wild animals. Then again, this one acted like a pet. She slowly reached her hand out, just within striking range. If Temptation wanted to bite her she could do it now.
Sophia stood next to Andrea, watching the wolf carefully. Amber stalked up beside the mule. "Careful what you do around us, rat." She growled.
Temptation
She paid little attention to the other canines around her. As Andrea reached out to her. She slowly lifted up her nose and sniffed the humans hand. Taking in the individuality of the scents and then licking the hand in a friendly manner before moving up and exposing her belly to the girl. Her tail wagged furiously to show the human she meant no harm.
