Dan & Harthrou

Ethan might be good with horses, but Dan didn't have the patient to handle one as boisterous as the wild mare. Thinking ahead of time, he backed across the lawn and positioned the end of the trailer directly against the front of one of the stalls. That way, when he opened the trailer, the only place Nightfall had to run was straight into the stall.

Quite pleased with his clever thinking, Dan headed around the back of the trailer and opened the gate. "Alright, out with you!" He called, looking expectantly to the wounded mare. After she was in, he'd have to get some help with placing the liger in a cage. Tied up or not, she was too heavy for him to manage on his own.

Watching the ordeal was Ethan's stallion, Harthrou. The Marwari mix-breed cantered curiously over towards the trailer, curved ears perked up as he peered between the slats. "Woah, that's a huge cat..." Then his dark eyes fell on Nightfall. By the way she was bound, he pretty quickly judged her temperment, "Ouch, looks like you've been in a fight? Ethan will tend to you when he gets back, no worries." Sometimes a gentlemen, the light-built Harth was no fighter. He was cocky and arrogant around other males, but tended to be much more friendly with the ladies.

Lissa and Blizz

The liger looked up at the horse and let out a vicious growl.

The monkey was in the cab trying to get free.

Nightfall

Nightfall looked down at Lissa. "Sorry, cat. I suppose we're in this together now." She said in a slightly bored tone. She did not like the stable setting one bit, but she limped into her stall. A smirk spread across her face when she heard Harthrou speak. "Ah, yes. Some stupid mare. Thinks she's hot-stuff, letting the human enslave her and all." She replied. "What are you in for?"

Dan, Aldo, & Harthrou

Closing the gate quickly, Dan headed inside for a moment to gather some help.

Meanwhile, Harth approached the stall, hanging his head over the side to get a better look at Nightfall, "In for?" He asked with surprise, then gave a small laugh, "Oh no, I don't much like the stalls. I'm Ethan's." He informed, then shook his head, realizing that she probably didn't know what that meant. To all the other horses, it was considered quite the privilage to be Ethan or Ben's horse. Following the heirarchy of the two, their horses got special treatment over the others.

"You say you fought another mare? What did she look like? Oh, I'm Harthrou, by the way." He greeted in a friendly manner.

A few minutes later, Dan returned with a younger man following after. The two got into the trailer and carefully took hold of Lissa. With a lot of tugging and pulling, they dragged the liger out and across the lawn. Huffing and puffing by the time they got their, they placed her in one of the larger pens.

Aldo, the younger man, gave Lissa a shot of a mild sedative. Enough to keep her from moving much, but not enough to put her to sleep. When it took affect, they cut away the rope around her legs and muzzle, and left.

The same was done with Blitz, except he was taken to an empty pigeon cage a few yards from the house. It wasn't the cleanest pen around, but it was the only one that they had at the moment to keep a monkey in.

Lissa and Blizz

Lissa growled loudly badly wanting to bite the two but not able to.She then got up and attacked the fence and then paced.

blizz:She screeched and now hit the bars. This cage was too small to her likeing and she hated cages and was scared of them and she showed it by jumping up and down and running around it and jumping at the bars and making alot of noise.

Nightfall

Nightfall looked at Harthrou. "She was about my size, and dapple gray." The wild mare informed. Why the stallion wanted to know was beyond her. "And I'm Nightfall. You can call me Night, if you want." She shifted her weight and snorted.

Harthrou & Kong

A look of surprise and worry came to Harth when she described the mare, "Uh oh, you mean Hydra? Oh, wow... was there another human wither her? A shorter fellow with spikey hair and blue eyes?" One ear flicked in the direction of Lissa's pen, and he shivered at the sound of the roar. While he wasn't as bad as Hydra was about it, Harth still prefered human and equine company over that of predators.

Kong, the massive King Hound of Ethan's, came around to investigate the arrivals. Over two-hundered pounds and standing an incredible 42" at the shoulder, he wasn't the pack leader for nothing. Passing by Harth and Nightfall, he went directly over to Lissa's pen. "Just what in the world do we have here?"

Lissa What does it matter to you mongrel" She growled and lunged at the fencing.

Blizz continued to freak otu running from end of her tiny cage to the next.

Nightfall

Nightfall nodded. "Yeah. I trampled him." She said proudly, pleased with what she had accomplished. "I hope they've learned not to mess with me." Harth seemed like a more friendly horse. She needed good company after her ordeal.

She pinned her ears back when Kong passed, but soon relaxed again. "Oh. It's only a dirty mutt." She snorted, watching him. An angry neigh left her vocals when the dog stopped next to Lissa's pen. "It would be best if you left the cat alone, deary. She could swallow you up right now if she wanted to."

Harthrou & Kong

His eyes grew a touch wider when she confirmed his suspicions, and then he really looked taken-aback when she confessed to trampling him. "...you..what? Oh man..." Seeming apprehensive now, her first statements were lost on him as he thought about the reproccussions that would follow. "...oh? Yeah, that's just Kong." Harthrou replied distractedly, glancing at the massive Hound. Then it was right back to the trampling, "...did you... kill him?"

Kong narrowed his eyes at Nightfall as he responded to Lissa, "Just curious, is all." As intimidating as she was, he didn't flinch one bit when she showed her stuff. Little intimidated the monsterous dog, and that was one of the reasons he was trained as a 'pack leader'. "Is that your friend or something?" He asked next, throwing a look to Blitz. "Funniest looking creature I've ever seen..."

Lissa

She growled glaring."Im a liger a cross between a tiger and a lion. yes she is my friend and she has already been mistreated by these pests that think they are better then us" she growled.

She continued running and throwing a tantrum in her cage making aloud screeching noise.

Nightfall

Nightfall smirked. "Tell Kong not to mess with us...Or he'll get the dog beaten out of him." She craned her neck to look at the hound. "You hear that, Kong? I'll trample you like I trampled your stupid human! Just try me!" She taunted, waving her tail. She laughed and looked back at Harth. "No, I didn't kill him. But I would have if I got the chance." She replied, still smirking.

She squealed in a frustrated tone when Kong continued his questioning. "WILL YOU LEAVE THEM ALONE?!" She snapped. "I will kill you if you say another word. Got it?" When she was angry, she was over the top. She seamed to breath fire and spit venom.

Harthrou & Kong

Kong laughed lightly before baring half of his glistening fangs in a smirk, "They are better than you, liger. And if your friend doesn't quite down over there, I don't think she'll last long."

Harth looked to Kong, chuckling slightly at Night's threats. Yet the humor died down just as quickly as Night let on to her anger over Ben, "You... probably shouldn't think like that. Ben, he's a great human. But... not a forgiving one." Harth looked down slightly before bringing his eyes to Night's, "You can hate him all you want, but for your own sake, you should.. well, heck, let your anger out on Danny. We all do that. Tom's fun to mess with too, but we never hurt that guy. Or there's..." The stallion trailed off, realizing that she wouldn't know who he was talking about. "Anyway, I guess I'm just trying to say... give him a chance." For some reason, Harth felt compelled to help Nightfall.

"Kill me? Heh, did I hear that right?" Kong stated, padding towards Night's stall, "Trust me, if we tangle, I won't be the one pushing up daisy, darling. But if you'd rather me prove my point..." The dog hunched down slightly, ready to leap over into her stall.

Snorting, Harthrou reared up and stamped his front hooves down near Kong, "Hey, back off! She's new here!"

Kong bristled, but didn't snap back at the horse. There was a heirarchy in this place, and the lines were thin. Harth was just a notch above Kong, and so the canine knew he'd get quite the punishment if he lashed out at the stallion. "You're protecting an outsider, Harth. I wouldn't get too attached."

Nightfall

Nightfall laughed at Kong. "Try me, pup. I dare you." She said solemnly.

She then diverted her attention from the dog and looked at Harth. "See, I don't really care what Ben thinks. He's just as bad as any other human." Nightfall herself wanted to help Harth, by busting him out. She felt that this place wasn't healthy for horses.

Nightfall looked back at Kong. "You heard him. Back off before somebody comes and drops a house on you." She snorted.

Harthrou, Tank, & Kong

Harth dashed a hoof out at Kong again, when the dog looked prepared to leap into Night's stall once more. "Back off, Kong! You know what'll happen if you mess with her anyway!"

Kong snarled savagely, knowing that Harth was right. "Fine, but don't say I didn't warn you." Giving her one last look, he strode back towards Lissa.

Harth gave a heavy sigh as he looked to Nightfall, "Ah, come on. You haven't given him a chance yet. Honestly, once you get to kno..."

A deep voice cut interrupted the other's sentence. In a stall next to Night's was a strongly muscled mix-breed stallion, littered with scars from past fights. He carried the same coloration as Hydra, only he was larger than her. "She's smarter than you, pretty-boy. That vile excuse for a human is nothing but bad news." The gray stallion raised his head, joining the crowd as he looked into Night's stall. "All humans are bad. But you wouldn't know that..." He challenged, looking accusingly to Harth.

Harth pinned his ears back, "Shut up, Tank! Be thankful you're not at the glue-factory!" Clearly aggitated now, the black stallion did his best to dissuade Nightfall's thoughts of Ben, "Don't listen to that brute - he doesn't know what he's talking about."

"Oh, and I just magically got these scars? Look, honey, humans are horrid creatures. You've got wits about you - don't let that poor-excuse for a horse over there tell you otherwise." Tank said, speaking of Harthrou.

Lissa

She growled and continued to pace."If they hurt my friend I will kill them. I could easily kill you mutt i am larger and much more powerful then you. I wouldn't challenge a horse if i were you. I stand a better chance with a horse. But you all you truelly have are teeth. The horse hooves could kill you and i have teeth and claws that are deadly you don't stand a chance"SHe growle.d

blizz she continued running.

Nightfall

Nightfall grinned cockily when Tank spoke. "At least somebody here has common sense." She snorted. She shut her eyes when she thought of her past - and what the humans did to her. Her gaze met Harth's. "Listen, Princess. Humans are bad. Would a good creature do what humans did to me? 'Course not. I was bait, Honey. Bait for wild stallions. They were made to fight over me. I was often forced to fight myself. When I wanted out, I was punished." She informed angrily.

She looked back at Kong. "You good-for-nothing cat chow! If you dare to look at the cat again, so help me I will kill you!" She spat, glaring at the hound evilly.

Harthrou, Tank, & Kong

Sitting back on his haunches, Kong looked smugly back at the liger, "My teeth are just as deadly as yours, kitten. It's all about who makes the first mistake. I know how to handle a horse, and I've dealt with cats before. No problem." He had dealt with lynxes and cougars before, though he generally had his pack to help him. A liger, of course, was something totally new to the canine.

Harth sighed, ears drooping just slightly, "It all depends on your attitude. If you are dead set against humans..." He shot an accusingly look at Tank, "...then there is little I can do for you. But if you are willing to try and understand, I can help you. The humans trust me."

Tank shook his head, "Don't listen to a word that weakling says! He'll do anything for his precious two-leggers! He only cares for himself!"

Nightfall

Nightfall snorted at Harth. "You know nothing. When your humans are tired of you, you will be sent to the slaughterhouse." She said, holding her head high. Her nostrils flared and she looked at Tank. "Right. We mustn't fall into the humans' traps. They will kill us...just like they have planned for the teacher's pets."

Lissa

She growled and then laughed at him."oh have you dear canin friend... I bet you haven't faced something as big as I so really you don't stand a chance. Nor do your human counter parts"She sniggered and glared at him."your teeth might be deadly but unless you hit the right spot then they won't do too much damage"

Blizz now tired herself out but continued to screech.

Nightfall

Nightfall glared at Kong. "Listen here, Purina. If you bug that cat I will haunt you forever. I will trample first, ask questions later. I mean it." She said angrily.

She looked at where Blizz was, then back at Kong. "If you don't tell your master to let the monkey go, I will get out of here and kill you myself. That will save the dirty human some time." She threatened, putting her ears back.

Harthrou, Tank, & Kong

Harthrou lowered his head more, taking a slight step back. "I have faith in my masters, and so long as I do what I am asked, I know that they will treat me well." A sad, distant look was giving to Nightfall before he brought his head back from her stall and turned to the side. Ears head down dejectedly, he padded slowly away. In his mind, he felt for sure that his thoughts were right, and that he had done all that he could to try and save Night.

Tank, on the other hand, was sure that his thoughts were true, and that he had given Night the best advice there was. Bobbing his head a bit, he snorted, "Ah, I knew you wouldn't get sucked into those lies. I never trusted that weakling human slave." The stallion spat, watching as Harth departed. "I'm only sorry there's nothing I can do to help get you out of here. But hey, at least we're in this together." Now looking back at Nightfall, a curious and almost delighted look came to his dark eyes, "How much damage did you do to Hydra, anyway?"

Kong settled down on his stomach now, arrogantly showing off that he wasn't the least bit swayed by their threats. And to get a bit of pride back, he barked to Harth as the morose stallion sauntered by, "Should have let me tear her throat out. I guess you'll listen next time." Baring a toothy smirk, Kong reveled in the look he got from Harth. And then it was back to the captives. "Oh please, you two! I've dealt with cats and horses both. I've killed creatures like you with ease." He stood up now, looking from one to the other, "You think you two are so tough? Look at you! Calling threats when you can't even see them carried out!"

Lissa

She growle3d and rushed the cage bliting it and letting her claws unsheath."Yah well for your self you are lucky that we can't cuz you would be dead in a second"She growled

blizz screeched.

Nightfall

Nightfall grinned and Harth left. "You know nothing. You a blind to the humans' horrible acts because they took the wild out of you. They've made you into a slave!" She exclaimed. She then faced Tank and showed a toothy smirk. "I beat her good. And her unintelligent master. The mare was limping the last time I saw her, and an old man had to help the human." She looked at Kong. "Don't speak to me that way!" She spat viciously. "You think you're all that because you're on the other side of the gate! Do you know why your dirty humans put me in here? They know I'm dangerous. They're afraid of me." She narrowed her eyes. "The status quo will change, lad. It'll change soon enough. Then you'll be sorry. The clock is ticking away. You're running out of time."

Tank & Kong

"Good for her. My sister is just like Harth. Weak-minded and slave-driven." Tank said with a slight grin, "And it's too bad you weren't able to finish off Ben. I've been trying for years to squash that little pest!"

"Last time I checked, my pack and I were perfectly made of time." He retorted smugly, stretching out with a long, tooth-baring yawn, "Afterall, I'm not the one on the chopping block. And, as you pointed out, I am on the other side of the fence." A sly side-look was offered to Lissa before he continued with Nightfall, "We've been in charge for as long as I can remember. I highly doubt a little mare like yourself is going to change that anytime soon." Grinning and holding back a chuckle, he sauntered towards her stall and sat back leisurely on his haunches, "But do go on, I'm enjoying this quite a bit."

Lissa & Salsa

She growled.Pacing

Salsa awoke from all the commotion.Standing up the grey wolf padded over to all of them."Will all of you shut it!Geeze Kong you love stirring up trouble don't you?"She yawnedl icking her lips.

Nightfall

Nightfall snorted at Kong. "You'd be surprised, ignorant puppy." She said boldly. "I almost killed your stupid master and his pack mule. You'd best shove it, before I give you what I gave the others." She tossed her head when Salsa came near. "Oh, are you a human slave too? Or are you one of the few intelligent lifeforms here?"

Tank & Kong

"Almost doesn't cut it." He shot back, not budging an inch. "You're gonna wish you had killed him soon enough." Kong laughed menacingly before turned calmly about to see Salsa. "Of course, Salsa. What better have I got to do when I'm not hunting?" Grinning afresh, he settled back down, taking a big breath. "You ought to join us on the next hunt, you know."

Salsa

She looked to the horse."I am No Slave. I do as I please but The humans here have not harmed me. So I trust them."SHe said with a yawn."You know horse you really should try again to trust them. You would be in much b etter condidition if you did. I can't say the same for the liger for I do not know what my owner wishs to do with her or the monkey"SHe scractched behind her ear with her hind leg."Hmm Yes I think I shall join yah"SHe said.

Lissa:"the human just beter leave me in here cuz i will slice his throat open"She growled.

Nightfall

Nightfall snorted. "The humans have not harmed you because you have given in to their evil ways. You're a bug just like the rest of them." She snapped angrily. "How can I trust a creature who treats me like dirt?! All humans are the same - evil." She looked towards Lissa and grinned. "Stripes has the right idea." She said arrogantly. "That's right, cat! Show those parasites who's boss!"

Ethan, Harthrou, & Pack

Kong casted a lazy eye towards Nightfall, "And who's to say we're the ones trusting them?" The massive brute chuckled slightly to himself before speaking his next line, "I think it is they who us. As clever as they may be, I could tear their throats out in a heartbeat." A narrow-eyed glance was thrown to Lissa, "And if I ever suspected foul play on their part, I wouldn't hesitate. But Ethan, he is a good alpha."

"Kong! Stave! Lets head out! Time to hunt!"

A voice in the distance caught Kong's attention, transforming him in an instant, from bored and lazy to attentive and eager. "Alright Salsa, time to prove your stuff." Kong said with a grin, "Ethan is calling us to hunt." 'Head out' and 'hunt' were two commands Kong had been trained. And of course, he knew his own name. Quite eager, he bounded away from the cages and headed out of sight.

Salsa

She growled at all of them but then heard ethan and nodded to kong.Well you guysh ave funShe growled to the caged animals and then followed Kong

Lissa gowled angerly.
