Spirit
She slowly loped in, and went a few yards away from the porch, Yersinia in her mouth. She dropped yersinia and the meat, and stood in front of her protectively, howling for anyone. Although the pups broken leg could wait, she wanted the pup to feel no more pain.
Spirit
She howled a goodbye and then turned to the pup's leg. Gently she licked it. "The lady will return shortly...I hope." She then curled up beside Yersinia, and watched with a wary eye for any attackers.
Lady & Starlit Eyes
Starlit Eyes barked for Hueros to follow her outside. She knew he didn't have much time for the sedative took affect and pulled him into unconsciousness. Spotting Spririt and the youngster, Starlit raised her tail slightly to show she was the guardian and dominant one in the area. "My master will be here soon. Please, don't give her or myself any trouble." She glanced at Yersinia, seeing the bite wounds and swelling she would have from the broken leg, "She will give you something to make you fall asleep. Do not try to bite her." She warned, but in a light tone.
Soon enough, the lady returned to the house, parking her truck and walking toward the house. "Oh my, more patients?" she said aloud and walked slowly over to the three. She too could see what was wrong. Kneeling down, she talked sweetly to Spirit and Yersinia, trying to show she meant no harm while trying to get closer to Yersinia. But she was afraid that Spirit would attack, so she waited for the wolf's reaction to her presence.
Aaka
Aaka loped to Spirit. She had more fights. Again. "Spirit, I need your help. I am sorry to bother you. There is 3 fights going on. Now me and Legosa are thinking of killing each other. I also have a fight in the alleys I am trying to break up. Plus I have a fight in the no-wolf zone. I forgot which packs its between but I do know that its in the seconf group of packs. Oh its the Silver glades and the Pines. Its something like that. You can trust the lady." Aaka was hurting. Her foot was throbbing. She would be in a lot of pain later when she started all of the fighting she had to do. Aaka growled. Why couldnt everyone just get along? She glared at Starlit Eyes. "You'd better take care of her." Aaka then looked back at Spirit. "Will you help me?
Spirit
At the sight of Starlit eyes, her ears flattened and she begun to snarl, when she smelled the slight scent of Dark Star on Starlit's pelt. She then ressumed normal possition and lowered her head with respect. "Please do take care of her." She then looked to Aaka. "Which fight do you want me to try to stop?"
Lady & Starlit Eyes
Her hackles raised for a tense moment with Aaka's approach and words, as well as Spirit's first snarls. But seeing the situation calm again, the hybrid nodded once to Spirit, "We will return her safely after my master has healed her." So saying, the hybrid gently picked Yersinia up by the scruff and carried her inside the house. The lady was relieved that there had been no fight with the three wolfesses. She followed after Starlit into the house.
Once in, the door was closed so no others could enter. Since she was dealing with a youngster, the lady lightly grabbed Yersinia's muzzle and held her still while she gave her a sedative to knock her out. After waiting for Yersinia to be knocked out by the drug, the lady cleaned the wounded leg and applied a soft gauze around the bite wound. Then, after setting the bones straight again, she took some strong-smelling wet gauze out of a package and wrapped the leg up tightly in it. After a few minutes, the wet gauze dried into a solid cast. The cast would fall apart in about three weeks, giving the bones some time to heal. The lady then carried the unconscious pup outside and laid her down on the porch to wake up.
Starlit began to sniff around for Hueros, wondering where he had gone.
Aaka
Aaka looked at Spirit. "You are needed at the Ruins. There are many of them...Few of me...Thank you for your help. We will come back to get Yersinia when we are done." Aaka then turned and trotted in the direction of the ruins. She looked small because she hadnt eaten much in the past week. But she was hard muscle. She could kill very easy.
Hueros
The shepherd had consumed the meat and hobbled around drowsily in the house while the others had left. He finally collapsed after crawling under the kitchen table. Hueros pulled himself to a half-sitting position before crumpling to the floor again and going unconscious.
Lady & Starlit
Starlit had finally discovered where Hueros had fallen. Again, a sharp bark alerted the lady who hurried in and found the slumbering dog. Since he was smaller than the average wolf, the lady was able to drag him out across the slick kitchen floor. She began to inspect the wound and remove all the buckshot she could from his leg. After getting most of it out, she cleaned the wound very well and wrapped it up in guaze, then gave him a shot of antibiotics. She carried the shepherd outside and laid him down to wake up.
