Aralyn

Aralyn pulled up to her house with the two dogs in the front seat of her large Ford. She had thought about making the two her personal dogs on the way home, instead of making them rescues. She liked the two of them. Thor and Crimson were good dogs with good hearts. Alright you two. This is home. Now, no running off. I'll let you two out without a leash but you have to promise you won't go anywhere. There is over 300 acres for you two to play on. That should be more then enough. She didn't expect the two to respond, but it felt nice to be having a conversation with someone. Protect the property, kids. That's all I ask. And my children. Those are my two biggest priorities. One of you may be going to a new home. His name is Nadeem. I... love him. She'd never really said that last part out loud before, but it was the truth. And if nothing else, she would just go back to the shelter and get another guard dog for the house. She got out of the truck holding it open for the two of them Come on guys. She said. She looked around at her new house. Yes, this was the perfect location for the rescue.

Thor & Crimson

Thor had lay down next to the woman when they had left the pound. It was nice to be out of that place, he hoped that he would not have to be stuck in cages anymore. He did not feel comfortable within the chain link confinement. He had never seen the inside of a house since he had been chained up all of his life, usually with no food or water. Often he was abused by the person who had owned him. Though, he remained friendly even if he was a little shy. His tail wagged a few times as he heard her voice. He looked up to her with his mis-matched eyes as his tail continued to wag the whole time she spoke to them. Then when they had reached the house and he was let out he went to sniffing around the area.

Crimson was super excited as she had been led to the vehicle and jumped in. Her stump of a tail wagged fiercely and when she heard the woman's voice she tilted her head to the side as if trying to figure out what she was saying. Though, of course it was no use. When the vehicle came to a stop and she was let out she bounced along side Aralyn and barked a few times to show her happiness and enthusiasm.

Aralyn

Aralyn started to walk towards the house, taking her cell phone out of her pocket. Hey Nadeem it's Aralyn... Sorry I haven't been in touch. I bought a ranch. Come on by, I have a surprise for you. She gave the address then headed inside, leaving the door open. She came back out and sat on the porch, cup of iced tea in her hands. Now, I have some basic ground rules. Guard my babies at all costs. Don't eat any of the livestock. And, last but not least. Be good dogs. She reached out and snapped her fingers, calling the two to her. She couldn't wait for the business to start taking off. She knew that what she had in mind was going to be amazing.

Thor & Crimson

Thor continued to sniff around the entirety of the front yard as he heard the woman speaking on the telephone. Of course, he had no idea what it was that she was speaking into but he did enjoy hearing the sound of her voice as she spoke. Hearing her speak let him know that he was not alone and he liked that. His existence as a pup all the way up until adulthood had been a solitary one where he had barely seen the human who kept him aside from when they would occasionally feed him. He liked having a human who would actually keep him around and pay attention to him. So, when he heard her snap her fingers he turned to look at her, his ears perked at attention. Then he headed towards her at a leisurely pace. Once he had reached her he sat down and lay his head in her lap, wagging his tail as she spoke to them.

Crimson followed Aralyn around, trying to keep as near to her as possible as she moved around. This is what she had been trained to do. She had completed obedience classes and it was completely unknown as to why she had been dropped off at the shelter one night. She was a very good girl and was great with all other animals and people. It was one of those little mysteries that just wouldn't be solved. When Aralyn sat down and snapped for them Crimson bounced around for a short time before settling and sitting down in front of Aralyn and beside Thor. Her stub of a tail wagged fiercely and she woofed softly after the woman stopped talking before licking her hand.
