Nadeem Tarak & Abhay

Ears back, it was clear Abhay was not a happy horse by the time he reached the house. However, he relaxed some when the two wolves were removed from his back.

Nadeem set Sweetclover and Harbringer down on the deck that expanded from the backdoor of the house. "Thank you again for your help... oh, I don't believe I caught your name? I'm Nadeem." He introduced with a sheepish smile, before heading towards Katariina to help take Mandragoro and Taiser off.

Eeva/Katariina

Katariina was clearly more comfortable than Abhay. She acted as if she had known the wolves all her life.

Eeva let out a sigh of relief when they reached the house. She climbed down from the saddle and helped Nadeem remove the wolves from Katariina's back. "Olkaa hyvä. You are welcome." She replied with a smile. "I'm Eeva. The horse is Katariina."

Nadeem Tarak & Abhay

As he was settling the unconcious wolves out on the deck and gathering his supplies, Nadeem spoke again to Eeva, "I can't thank you enough for your help already. People like you... well, you don't find to many of them in this town." He explained with a half-smile.

Abhay trotted towards Katarliina once more, feeling more confident now that he was on his own turf, and there weren't any bears around. "Wow, you sure are brave! You didn't even flinch!" The stallion exclaimed, stamping a hoof down for emphasis. "Did I mention, you've got gorgeous eyes?"

Oh, if Nadeem could hear his horse now, he would have busted out laughing! But as it was, he had a serious matter to attend to. "I hate to ask any more favors of you; you've done so much already." The young man said, as he began to work on Sweetclover, removing the bullets and staunching the bloodflow, "...I mean, you're welcome to stay and help, if you'd like, but..."

Eeva/Katariina

Eeva nodded. "You are very welcome." She replied, in a slight foreign accent. It surprised her that so many people here hunted animals for fun. She had hunted reindeer only once, and she did not let it go to waste. It actually tasted quite good.

Katariina tossed her head cheerfully. "I do not consider myself any braver than the average horse. Eeva told me that everything is good and I trust her." She stated, stamping her own hoof. She chuckled when Abhay complimented her eyes. "And not every horse has such a graceful form as yourself."

Eeva smiled. "I'm happy to help. What would you like me to do?"

Nadeem Tarak & Abhay

He let out a small sigh of relief before snapping back to attention, "If you have any experience in stitching or sewing, it'd be a great help if you could mend that little one there." Nadeem replied, nodding to Mandragoro. The pup had a large laceration across his flank, where a bullet had grazed deeply.

Finishing up on Sweetclover, Nadeem moved to Harbringer.

Abhay would have blushed if it were possible, for the normal response he got was a roll of the eyes are a witty, snide remark. "Oh, uh... thank you. Although, I'd have to say you beat me in that category."

Eeva/Katariina

Eeva nodded and pulled a small first aid kit out of the pack on Katariina's back. She had never really used it, but it was something her parents told her to always keep around. She grabbed a small spool of thread and a needle, then set to work at fixing Mandragoro. Once she was finished, she backed away. "Anything else?" She asked.

Katariina smiled and sighed. "You're too kind." She chuckled, waving her silky flaxen tail.
