Khala
"Layra!" Khala called out in her piercing voice, "Tuini!" The alabaster falcon glided in low and landed softly in the short grasses in front of the den. "I have news! The cubs are out of the mountains and away from the Ruins, with only a pair of Tyrant's kids watching them. If you move quickly, you may be able to take them before the adults arrive."
Tuini, Dusquei, Spotlight, & Autumn Sun
Tuini emerged from the den with a yawn, sauntering lazily at first before perking his ears at the falcon's news. "They've let the cubs stray?" A broad grin soon emerged across his muzzle and he swung his head back to look at the larger ligeress trailing out after him. "What do you say, Autumn? We worked so hard to feed and care for the mothers, it's about time some of those cubs returned home to us. Rufflan!"
Stepping out of the den after Tuini, Autumn's pelt shone like liquid gold, her sleek fur rippling above well honed muscles. "I'm game. How far out are they, Khala?"
Spotlight was already outside, lounging above the caves with his spotted tail idly swaying over the edge. "Sounds fun. I'll join in, as long as it's not too far of a trek."
Also outside, Dusquei listened quietly to the commentary. There was no intention of going back to the Haunters, especially with Velvet within their ranks, but she didn't like the possibility of Nemu or the others getting hurt again.
Khala
"Not terribly far. They're out in the Scar as we speak, and no adults were within range that I could see." With time being of the essence, the raptor took to the skies in a hearty burst of wingbeats, "I'll lead the way!" And up she went, climbing higher into the sky to widen her field of view of the land below. Waiting only momentarily for the gathered felines to organize themselves, Khala began her flight to the Tabumrot Scar.
Tuini, Dusquei, Spotlight, & Autumn Sun
The grin widened, and without hesitation Tuini bounded away from the cavern and out across the open grasses, following Khala's swift flight as best he could. Autumn and Spotlight weren't far behind, their heavy paws thundering across the ground as the raced to intercept the cubs.
