Layra
Laura and azulon dragged the stag in dropping it. They all had wounds and they had lost ruffian. She called to the three that stayed behind. She would deal with summer when she saw him. **Tuini Little tuff come eat. Summer is forbidden to eat for a whole week for abandoning his pride during a hunt he was supposed to attend to. As well as I will be putting him in his place as omega of the pride. So when he allowed to eat again it will be last to eat. He is not to be coddled. Nor is he to be left unattended** she said. She then dug into the stomach of the stag
Azulon moved to his mother and groomed her as they waited for tuini layra and little tuff had their fill
Tuini & Others
Tuini stretched himself stiffly and stood up, one eye squinted like a drunkard with a hangover. "Welcome back... oh shit." He slowed his pace when he saw the wounds of battle that the pride carried, though he'd not yet noticed the lack of one spunky lynx. "What happened up there? This-" As he approached the kill and eased down beside his sister, Tuini sniffed at the burgundy-brown coat of the stag, "-is definitely not the stag from last night. It is bigger though."
Little Tuft offered a friendly chuff to the returning party, but declined to leave his resting spot or join his leaders to eat.
Spotlight rose with a few prominent cracks of his joints and sauntered towards Azulon and Paranoia, where he would lay down and assist in grooming. Autumn Sun and Fairali joined the session too, their tongues being put to use to clean away blood and sort out mussed fur. The mother had glanced about for her son, but didn't see nor smell Summer in the den.
Oracle, the only cat to escape the violent herd without a mark, stretched out in front of the cavern to bask in the sun of the cold winter day.
Layra
** that one was finally smart and directly with the herd. This one and another showed up later.** She said**tuft are you alright?** She asked worried about him not coming to eat.
Tuini & Others
Tuini snorted, "At least this one is younger and fatter, probably better tasting than that stringy old buck." As flippant as he was about the pride not taking Nightshade down, Tuini was a little disappointed, if only because the stag had gotten the better of him wounded his ego just as much as his physical self. "Kuddos on bringing back such a big meal, anyway." He turned his head sideways, bumping it affectionately against Layra before digging into the carcass himself.
Little Tuft shuttered his sunken eyes, "I'm fine, just catching up on my sleep." He assured, then tucked his head in against his chest and draped a paw snugly over his nose.
Spotlight glanced back at the old lion, then dropped his voice low, "I don't think his time is long, Layra. He's been eating well enough, but..." The big cat shrugged, "...he's been wasting away in here." He honestly didn't know what was wrong with his uncle, and had no idea how to help other than keep him warm and offer him food.
Layra
She filled up and then grabbed some of the deers innards and brought it to tough as she listened to Spotlight she knew spot light was right.
Paranoia got up when layra nodded to her and she moved to eat.
Tuini, Little Tuft, & Others
Little Tuft opened his eyes when he heard his niece padding his way, nostrils twitching at the scent of offal. His paw slid from his face and he stretched his neck to give her leg a light nuzzle, "Thanks, Layra. I'm sorry I couldn't join you earlier." A slight frown darkened his weary eyes and he shifted with some amount of effort until he was sitting up, "I'll join Khala outside later, to help keep guard of the area." The big cat vowed, feeling bad that he could never really contribute much to the pride, and wanting to show his support in some way.
Layra
She nuzzled him back ** it's alright tuft. Get outside for some fresh air but don't over do it**
