Lark Volkova

Lark slowly pushed the door open. Seeing that nobody was around, she walked down the aisle and to the altar. She had rarely spoken to the God many of her relatives spoke so fondly of, but in this hard time, it wouldn't hurt to pray some more. She knelt down at the altar, folded her hands, bowed her head, and prayed very, very quietly.

Zack

He had driven here with lark. He wasn't much a religous person but did it for lark.he walked down the aisle with her and knelt beside her. he too dipped his head d own and folded his hands.

Lark Volkova

Lark herself wasn't much of a religious person, but if it would help her family, she would cry out to Jesus. Her cousin Dimitri was a devout Christian and attended church whenever he could, often taking the time to do some missionary work.

She finished her prayer and stood up, looking around at the stained glass. "This is nothing like the churches we had back in Russia." She stated. "This one is so...ordinary." It wasn't that ordinary was bad, it was that Lark was used to all the fancy stuff.

Zack

HE soon stood up as well and he listened to her.I only went to church when i was youngerhe spoke and then smiled.

Lark Volkova

Lark smiled. "Me too. My dad took me every day church was in." She said, thinking back to her childhood. "He said that there were only four things you truly needed in life: food, water, oxygen, and the love of the Creator. He said that once we're done on this earth, we'll no longer need earthly things because Heaven is such a holy place that anybody in God's house doesn't need food or water or air." She took another look around and sighed. "I think that's what it was. It was a long time ago."

Zack

He shrugged. My parents were extreme Christians and they believed i was possesed so they try to have an exorcism and when that didn't work they tried to kill me and now they are in hellHe shrugged.

Lark Volkova

Lark raised an eyebrow. She didn't exactly like Zack's judgmental behavior. "And since when is it your job to judge who goes to Heaven and who goes to Hell?" She asked indignantly.

Zack

He sihged and shrugged.Well why would they go to heaven when they tryed to committ murder for no reason? The preist said i wasn't possesed yet they still thought i was

Lark Volkova

Lark folded her arms. "How about you leave the judging up to God? I never said they wouldn't go to Hell, I'm saying that it's not your job to judge." She turned around and walked out the door, giving Zack the cold shoulder.

Zack

He sighed. He then just erased it from his memory. He wouldn't mention anything about his parents to her he guessed. He got in the drivers seat and waited for her.

Lark Volkova

Lark walked past the car, an angry expression on her face. "I'm walking to my house today." She said. "Don't bother following me. You can call me tomorrow." With that, she walked away.
