Alexia, Becca, and Roxie
Becca, Roxie, and Alexia were all young orphans who lived at the local orphanage. They did not spend much time there, though. Most of the time they were out roaming the streets, only staying at the orphanage at night when they had to. Right now they were out roaming the streets once again.
They walked from the orphanage to the old bridge where they hung out a lot. They chatted meaninglessly as they reached the bridge, wishing it was warmer so that they could at least go for a swim or something. As they reached the bridge, Alexia leaned against the railing and looked to her two younger friends. So, what now? It was a simple question that she spoke to the other girls.
Tanya
Tanya was 4 years old now and still alone. She had been born from a fighting male that humans used and a female pitbull. Her mother had escaped before they were born and she had been born on the streets. Luckily she didn't have a mean bone in her body and never did she attack another dog unless she was attacked. She padded down the bridge but stopped at the site of the girls. She wasn't sure what to make of them. Her tail flicked.
Alexia, Becca, and Roxie
Alexia looked around as the other two girls shrugged their shoulders at her question. That was when she saw a dog approaching the bridge. She did not know whether she should be scared of the dog or whether she should try to get it to come to her. So, she just remained silent.
Roxie, the young red headed girl followed the direction that Alexia was looking and she saw the dog who was standing there. She smiled as she knelt down and made kissing noises to the dog and patted her knees, obviously trying to get the dog to come to her.
Becca also saw the dog, but she was very unsure just as Alexia was. So, she made no motion to call for the dog.
Tanya
Tanya watched them Warily and was thinking that it might be better if she just turned around and left. However; as she had made that decision one of the girls knelt down and started calling her. Her ears twitched and she watched her for a good five minutes before she moved toward her and slowly sniffed at her her tail stiff over her back in uncertainty however when nothing bad came out of it she just wagged her tail
Alexia, Becca, and Roxie
Alexia remained motionless watching the big dog as she decided whether she would approach of not. As she did there was no signs of fear from her, she remained calm though she was unsure.
Becca was also unsure, though she tried not to show this as she knelt down in front of the canine as well when she had decided to approach.
Roxie had been the most outgoing with the canine and as she finally approached a smile spread over her kissers. The canine seemed apprehensive but she also seemed friendly enough. She did not move as the canine sniffed at her. Though, when she stopped and wagged her tail she lifted her hand to pet the dog.
Tanya
She sniffed her hand and closed her eyes as she was pet. She sat downclose enjoying their touche.
Alexia, Becca, and Roxie
Alexia saw that the dog was not harming the other two girls so she moved a little closer and she knelt down as well. She too petted the dog's head.
The two younger girls continued to pet the dog silently, they were glad that the dog was friendly.
Tanya
Tanya laid down and rolled over now. Her mouth hanging open and her tongue lolling out and her tail wagging.
Alexia, Becca, and Roxie
All three of the girls now petted the dog as she rolled over on her back. Maybe they had found themselves a new friend? None of them knew whether they would be allowed to have her at the orphanage and if they were not then they would just have to sneak her in or hide her in the stable...
Tanya
She let her tail wagged fast across the ground as he let her head lay back and her mouth hang open. She was a good representive of her breed indeed.
